Simon Says Wednesday Challenge

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes.  I don't usually join in anything goes as there are so.many.entries!  However, I made this card and wanted to share it, so what the heck.  You can't win if you don't play.

For this card, I used Katscrappiness products.  I started with a mini slimline card [3.5x6] base.  Using the Mini Slimline Embossed Edge Die I cut a piece of [stashed] designer paper.  I used the Large Merry Christmas Word w/ shadow die.  I used kraft for the shadow, and more [stashed designer paper] for the MC.

Once I got all that adhered, I wrapped some stamp set packaging around the panel to create an edge-less shaker card, using the Christmas Red Sequin Mix and the Brilliant Green Solid Confetti Mix for stuffing [I also added a few spare sequins from my stash too]

Dotty About Flair Day

First off, as you will note from the above graphic, Dotty About Flair is slowly transitioning their name to The Flair Hut.  [Just a little information there.]

Today, I made a birthday card [no surprise I'm sure] with a different-for-me color combo to match the flair that I used.  (I do rather like it.)

I found a sketch I liked, used a couple of embossing folders for some texture, and then of course, the flair from; Dotty's Travel About.

I used a sentiment from Memory Box Signature Greetings.

CAS-ual Fridays Day

It's time for my CFS day.  I used a few products [differently], which is always fun - getting more use out of a product!

Let's start with the basics; this is a 5x5 card, and the layered panel is a 4.25x4.25 size.  I used one of the circle dies from the Slimline Die Set to cut out the center.  [Unfortunately, these are no longer available, so basically any die would work].  I cut a 3x3 piece of card stock, and water colored some stripes, let it dry, and adhered it to the back of the card layer.

Using another die from the Slimline Die Set, I cut a circle, and using the Heart Note Die, I cut off the heart and adhered it on to the circle die cut, along with a pearl from my stash.  I used the Stars A2 Panel Die to get the 2 stars that I adhered onto a tiny strips of white card stock.  Lastly, I used a sentiment from Whole Shebang Stamp Set.

Just Us Girls Challenge #647 - Photo Inspiration Week

Now, I'm assuming that most people would make a school card.  Well, I have no reason to need a back to school card, so, I went in a color direction.  All about inspiration, right?

I used the Altenew Beautiful Heart stamp set.  [The layering of the set is so fabulous!]

I used an embossing folder for the background, and yet another Simon Says Sentiment Strip.

Heartfelt Creations August Alumni Hop

It's that fun time of the month!

For this month, I made another mini slimline card.  Can I just say, once again, that I adore this size of card [3.5 x6]!  It fits into a normal letter size envelope, and postage is the regular price!  Win - win!

I colored the flowers by sponging on yellow ink on the flower tips, and Copics from the middle out.  I simply sponged ink on the leaves.  The stamp once, die cut once, for all the images - excellent!

Dotty About Flair Instagram Hop

Today is the 25th, and that means it's time for the Instagram Hop

Just Us Girls Challenge #646 - Color Week

I loved these colors together!

I used my semi-new Spellbinders Bold Bloom Etched Dies.  I just love the texture these dies add.

I've decided, that while I do love sentiment strips, creating on my computer I get what I want, along with the size I want.  That's a win, and I'm sticking with it~ Just sayin...

CAS on Friday #238 - Guest Designing

Yay!  I won challenge #236, and get to be a Guest Designer over at CAS on Friday!  This challenge is all about Tags - alone, or on a card base.

I put mine on a card base so it will work for a Christmas card with a small gift as the tag.  Win-win there.

I found the cute sticker in my Christmas drawer - totally loved it on my tag!

Seize the Birthday Challenge - A Sketch

I don't remember the last time we had a sketch for STB.  Kind of fun!

I instantly thought of black and white with a pop of color.  I think it works rather well with the sketch.  It also qualifies for the Paper Players #604; Black & White with a pop of color.

I love this die too - unbranded unfortunately, but I do love it.  The sentiment is a strip from Simon Says Sentiment Strips.

Combination of Challenges

I combined together a few challenges for today's card.  It just worked out that way 😉.

I started with the literal sketch from MFTWSC607, Color Throwdown #607 for the colors; Aqua & Lime Green, and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge for the theme; Christmas.  I used self made circle stencils to sponged on the aqua and lime green ink.  I stamped some images from an older Hero Arts stamp set; Decorate Your Holidays onto the circles, and highlighted with white gel pen.

I used a sentiment from Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas Combo.  I do love a gorgeous mixed font!

CAS-ual Friday Day

It's time today for my CAS-ual Friday Stamps showcase.

Today I went for a coffee card -- it seems like forever since I made one of these!

My friend really needed a support card, and she happens to love dogs [along with coffee], so I grabbed the Rainbow Bridge heart image, and stamped a background.  I used the fun Coffee Cup Die [with some dp for a design], and a sentiment from Cup Refills.  Lastly, I stamped and fussy cut the heart for further decoration of the cup.

I'm hoping she will enjoy this card!
