Seize the Birthday Challenge - CASE a DT

 

 

I love this type of challenge.  The hardest part?  Who am I going to CASE....  I chose Shirley Bampton.  I am always impressed with her artistic skill!

I used a self made balloon stencil, and a sentiment from Memory Box Signature Greetings.

Here is the card I CASED.

Happy Little Stampers October Stencil Challenge

One thing about this challenge, it is easy!

 

There is a hint of Christmas to this card.  That said, it is for a December birthday, so that works!  I started with a brick stencil [from my friend Loll Thompson] just partially sponged, and added a branch from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Big Greens Dies.  [I do love this set, and I have used it a lot over the last few months!]

And, par for the course, a sentiment strip from Simon Says.  [These are awesome!]

SCS Color Challenge #471

Mary has chosen the following colors for this week's challenge over at SCS; Black, crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding, pool party, sahara sand, and summer starfruit with a dessert of ribbon.  You can use all colors, or at least 3.

I went with 3 - black, pool party and crisp cantaloupe and as usual I forgot the dessert.  Ribbon makes my cards so hard to mail. :(.  I used a new stencil I recently got, Dylusions, Flower Medley Small.  I also used my fun MFT Feathers.  I am uploading this into the Moxie Fab stencil challenge too.
