I also used an older MFT sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by~
I have said this before, I will say it again - I adore mini slimline cards! For this card I used Bonsai Green card stock, and Re-Entry Red card stock for the background panel. I think the reindeer looks quite fun with the Non-Shedding Gold Glitter card stock.
I got the Paper Players #694 challenge in, and the timing [unfortunately] was rather perfect. My friend's mom recently passed away, and I needed a sympathy card, quickly. Hence the challenge - CAS with sympathy is what I needed.
I used an older cloud template from MFT, and a silhouette floral image. Both worked perfectly for a lovely sympathy card.
Thanks Paper Players - your timing was perfect.

This next one is off the wall for me! The Scrapbooker Magazine is sponsoring a (2) $500 Winner prize for creations made with Tim Holtz products. I made this tag using his distress inks. I did try to upload it, but did not have success. I still thought I would share with you all.
Miscellaneous products were used - not all Tim Holtz - but I loved this end result. It's just so Summer!I like challenges like this - easy. 😉
I used the retired MFT Balloon Dies to cut out some balloons from an inked vellum panel in my stash.
It's time for the Just Us Girls Challenge. This week is all about rain.
I used a Simon Says stamp set, Rainbow is My Favorite Color, along with a cloud stencil from MFT [retired], raindrops also from Simon Says Falling Backgrounds - [also retired].The sentiment is from [OOB] CAS-ual Fridays, Raindrops Duo.
Your turn! Come on over to the JUGS #722 and play along. The gallery might be wet 😉.
I really do love this challenge. Using stencils is so easy, and, you usually get a fabulous end result.
I started with a polka dot stencil for the background, blending on a few distress inks. Using the STAMPlorations Smile stamp set, I stamped, cut, and colored the the lilies.
Your turn! Come on over to the JUGS Challenge #720 and play along. So many ways to use a stencil!
I saw the MFT #680 Sketch, and liked it. Thinking about colors, I used Cupcake Inspirations #585; Yellow, Gray & White. I'm good with a couple of challenges~
All I have is retired MFT stamps, luckily, they work with their challenges. I started with the All Lined Up Background stamp, stamped some fun pandas from Happy Pandas [and cut out with my scan & cut]
Lastly, I stamped a fun sentiment from All About You. I have to chuckle, I can not remember the card last I entirely stamped! (I am all about die cutting. 😉) I just remembered, I am also entering this into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge; Cute Critters.
----------------------------------------------
Yesterday I was in the mood for making some fun ATC's, so I popped over to ATC Around the World #109 to see what their challenge was and perfectly, it was Anything Goes. That worked for me!
Using some fun Geckco Galz's products, I created 5 ATC's. I really love these!
Here are the individual photos - I used some self made tissue paper for some textured layering, along with a mix of different stamps for interest.
Challenges - thanks for the fun!
I just love this week for the challenge. I look forward to it every month. This month? Fabulous!
When I saw the coffee photo I instantly thought of the STAMPlorations stamp set, And Coffee. To get the coffee texture in the middle, I water colored the stamp and stamped. Gave me the perfect effect. The rest I colored with Copics.
Anytime I get to use my fun glasses, I am happy. I adore this die, which went rather well with my faux book. The sentiment is from MFT Everything Wonderful stamp set. Yep, I am very happy with my card :)
Your turn! How are you inspired? Come on over to JUGS #697 and play along!
When it comes to Fall colors, I seem to go on the brighter side. Here in Arizona, my town anyway, we do not get the pretty bright colors. So, I make it on my cards. I was also inspired by the {PIN}spirational Challenge #305 for September; leaves and birthday.
I kept the base monochrome, and used a stashed alcohol inked panel for the maple leaf die. I do like the color against to neutral background.
I used MFT's Everything Wonderful stamp set for the sentiment. Totally in love with this set, with the mixed fonts.Okay, your turn! Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along. While Fall Colors is an option, being a birthday card is not.
Hey everyone. For today's post, I created a card for the My Favorite Things 2023 CAS Superstar Contest. While I would love to win [the competition is fierce!], playing along is fun too.
Everything I have from MFT, at this point, is retired. However, I read the rules, and retired products work so YAY! I used Greenery Die-namics, Fishtail Frames, and the flowers are from Desert Bouquet [with matching die-namics]
The sentiment was from My Favorite Sentiments, that I stamped and embossed with white, on vellum. I like my layered CAS card -- Let's hope MFT does too~-----------------------------------------------
I went on to join in the Inkspirational Challenge; #298 Moodboard. [My favorite type of challenge!]
When I saw the moodboard, that fuchsia pink jumped right out to me! Here is my card:
I used a MFT mask, Rectangle Extraordinaire, sponged on 3 lovely colors of ink, removed the mask, and stamped Woodware's, Gardenia, using Versafine Black Ink. [LOVE this stuff!]
Thanks Challenges. Quite the awesome day - I do love being creative!
