I saw a sketch over at MFT that was perfect for the use of flairs!  The sketch challenge is over, but I still used the sketch.

Dotty About Flair Day

First off, as you will note from the above graphic, Dotty About Flair is slowly transitioning their name to The Flair Hut.  [Just a little information there.]

Today, I made a birthday card [no surprise I'm sure] with a different-for-me color combo to match the flair that I used.  (I do rather like it.)

I found a sketch I liked, used a couple of embossing folders for some texture, and then of course, the flair from; Dotty's Travel About.

I used a sentiment from Memory Box Signature Greetings.

Dotty About Flair Instagram Hop

Today is the 25th, and that means it's time for the Instagram Hop

Dotty About Flair Day

Today is my DAF Day.  I can make anything I want, using any DAF product I want.  Fun times!

I went with a mini slimline card and used the fun Epoxy: Chase the Rainbow Set.  I used up all I had of these, which worked perfectly for this card.

I used the Kat Scrapiness Mini Slimline Quilted Backdrop Die, [totally in love with the texture], along with the HB from Stamps of Life.

Dotty About Flair Hop

It's the 25th of the month - that means it is time for the Instagram Hop for Dotty About Flair. [To let you all know, I also do a blog post.]

For my card today, I used the scrapbook layout the DT Scrappers are using for the hop.  I like converting a page layout into a card layout. 

I used a couple of the flair from the June Release.

Dotty About Flair - My New Team

 

A few weeks ago the announcement was made for the Dotty About Flair new Design Team.  Yep, I am one of the newbies!  We had a hop [and will have] on the 25th of the month, and I will have a DAF Day on the 30th of every month, [my set day].  I will probably have a few more, but for sure those 2 days every month.

Okay, let's get started for today.

I started out by cutting a couple of small panels from an inked panel in my stash, and went on to cut out some foliage from Spellbinders Bold Bloom Etched Dies.

Then I added the super fun Dotty About Flair product in the middle of the flower!  This particular flair isn't [currently] available, but you can see all the Monochrome Flair HERE to check out this fun product! The sentiment is from Simon Says Clean Lines Everyday.

Dotty About Flair Hop

This is my official first post regarding Dotty About Flair, my new DT company.  You can ponder the website HERE.  I had never heard of this company [before applying for the team].  I must say the products are fun!  Adam, the owner, releases new flair every month, and it is popular!  Adding card designers is another avenue he is incorporating for his DT.  Up until now, it was only scrapbookers.  

Anywoo - we will be having an Instagram Hop the 25th of every month.  You can see this month's eye candy HERE.  (I am out of town [with no internet] so my card might be late for the hop, but I will post it when I get back).  Meanwhile, since I can schedule my trusty blog, YOU get to see my card today. 

See what I mean about a fun product!  I made this card especially to show just a small sample of the [many] different prints available on the flair.  So many colors available, so many prints!  [Really, you need to check out the website!]

I used the Dotty's Travels Flairs Collection.  While I usually use bright colors, the neutrals of these flairs really appealed to me, along with the graphic feel of course.  The papers are just from my stash.  Total focus is on the flairs.
