Seize the Birthday Challenge #280 - Floral

Can't go wrong when there are flowers involved on a card!

I used the fabulous floral image from Waffle Flower Sketched Rose, along with the matching die.

The sentiment is from Memory Box Signature Greetings.

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along!  While using a floral image is an option, being a birthday card is not.  Have fun!

A Couple of Challenges

Yep, I love a good challenge!  Inkspirational #295 is all about use a stencil with twist of layering stencils.  Well don't you know - I succumbed and purchased the Pink Fresh Humbled & Grateful Stamp Set, Stencil, and Die.  I am in love with this combo.  The card just comes together beautifully!

I totally have a new fun trend in the house.  These layering stencils are amazing!  Matching dies?  Oh yes please :)

I also adore the matching sentiment die -  totally love the look of those.

---------------------------------------------
I went on to join in the Freshly Made Sketches 596, which also qualifies [again] for the Inkspirational stencil usage. [Told you I succumbed].  It was a perfect sketch for my new Waffle Flower Sketched Rose Stamp Set, Stencil, and Die.

This trio has 3 stencils [the one above has 2] -- I love how easy it is to use these fun new toys!  I'll probably be purchasing more in the future.  So fun.

This sentiment is from MFT Everything Wonderful.  Love the mixed fonts - just so elegant.

Challenges - I had so much fun using my new supplies in your fantastic challenge!

Inkspirational #275 - Peace on Earth #25

I'm joining in a couple of challenges today.  I'm getting ready to head out on a [much needed] vacation so this will be the last for a little bit.  That said, the challenges were fun!

I'm starting with Inkspirational Challenge #275; stencils.  This is my second card for this challenge, but the stencil is a popular tool! [I uploaded the wrong card to the challenge.  Good grief - this card is the correct one]

I used a stencil from the now out of business CAS-ual Fridays.  [I'm going to miss this company!]  The sentiment is from Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas Combo.

-----------------------------------------------

Going on to Peace on Earth #25; a moodboard.  I do love a good mb :)

I wanted to practice my snow banks - how did I do?  I used Stampin Up classic Lovely As A Tree.  This is a beautiful set.  I took the image off the wood base so I could use my MISTI for stamping it.  The reason it looks "faded" is the glitter I added, which looks good in real life, but not so much in the photo.  Sheesh.  The sentiment is also from the Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas Combo.

Thanks Challenges!

Just Us Girls Challenge #648 - Word Challenge

Rather then go literal with the word this challenge, I went a little outside the box with a basket-type texture.

I used the Reverse Confetti Circle of Waves Die for my background, and the mitten from [retired] Spellbinders.  I used an embossing folder from Stampin Up for the "basket" texture. [so fun!]

Lastly, I used a sentiment from Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas Combo.

That's it for me today.  Your turn - come on over to the JUGS Challenge #648 and play along!

Combination of Challenges

I combined together a few challenges for today's card.  It just worked out that way 😉.

I started with the literal sketch from MFTWSC607, Color Throwdown #607 for the colors; Aqua & Lime Green, and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge for the theme; Christmas.  I used self made circle stencils to sponged on the aqua and lime green ink.  I stamped some images from an older Hero Arts stamp set; Decorate Your Holidays onto the circles, and highlighted with white gel pen.

I used a sentiment from Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas Combo.  I do love a gorgeous mixed font!

Thanks Challenges!  I had fun 😀

Couple of Challenges

I do have to say, I am loving having time to join in challenges.  I think months went by where I just did not have it! I'm happy it's improved.

I'm starting with the Less Is More Challenge #469 - Traditional Christmas.

I'm thinking most people think green and red - me?  I go gold.  Most of my decorations are gold too.  I used an unbranded snowflake stacked a few times in thicker card stock [for dimension], and topped with gold mirror paper.

The sentiment is from Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas Combo.  Love this combo as it has sentiment stamps AND matching dies.  Perfect.

---------------------------------------------------

I went on to play in Peace on Earth #20.  I do love creating from a mood board!  So inspiring.

Again, an unbranded die for the ivy  - [why oh why did I throw away labels!!], that I blended on some Oxide ink. I used Simon Says Nested Oval Dies for the framing.

And here is one of the Waffle Flower sentiments using the matching dies.  I really like this type of die that follows the shape of the words.

Here is the mood board - I was inspired by the right top.

That's it for today!  Thanks Challenges - I had a blast :)
