Seize the Birthday Challenge #304 - Stenciling

I have a dual day of stenciling. [Fine with me] My JUGS card had stenciling as the challenge too.

I went totally CAS with this fun card!  I handmade a circle die, laid the stencil over it, and inked.  I was going to try and get creative, but ended up just stamping on the HB.

I do rather adore the end result!  The win-win, it's a unisex card!  Totally works for me.

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday #304, and show us your stencil card. If you chose not to use the topping, don't forget, it must be a birthday card.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #303 - Layer It

I adore layering on my cards! I use to it it all the time, but not so much anymore.  Therefore, I'm loving this challenge!

Grab some pretty designer paper [Heartfelt Creations], layer it up with a small border, angle a panel a little, and I have my fabulous, layered birthday card!

Yep, that's good to go!

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #303, and play along!  While Layering It, is an option, being a birthday card is not.  Hope to see you there~

Seize the Birthday Challenge #302 - Milestone

I don't think I have ever seen the particular challenge anywhere throughout the years.  I love this one!  I do make this type of card for most milestone birthdays!

The biggest problem with this type of card is how many years the milestone is getting!  Remember when 80 seemed old? - ancient?  - so far away?....  Not so much anymore ;).

My friend will enjoy this card!

Your turn!  Come on over to STB #302 challenge, and play along!  While the topping is an option, being a birthday card is not.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #301 - Anything that Flies

I found this butterfly in my foiled bin, and yep, it works perfectly for this challenge!

For a little pop of color, I flicked on some Copic yellow.  Adds a little something, something.

Foiling is so hard to photograph [sigh].

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #301, and show us what flies for you.  While the topping is an option, being a birthday card is not.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #300 - No Stamping

This was a fun challenge!  It wasn't difficult at all.  Worked for me.

I started by layering a couple of stencils for my background, cut out the fern and sentiment, and adhered both.  Card done.  Sometimes I just adore simple cards 😀

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #300 and play along.  While no stamping is an option, being a birthday is not.  Hope to see you there~

I am going totally CAS with my card today.  You know what?  It worked! :)

No explanation needed for this cutie!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #298 - Kraft & Red

Always love this color combo!

There are so many ways to use these colors.  I went for an inspiration photo I found on Pinterest.  I have said in the past, 80% of my cards are for a male.  A graphic card always works for that.

These colors also work great for a guy.

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #298.  While the colors are an option, being a birthday card is not.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #297 - Use Something New

For my card today, I used something new from my Laura's box.  It will take me months to use all the different products I got in that goodie box! I also watched a YT video that reminded me about the bokeh effect.  Yep, I tried that too.

I used the gorgeous Stamper Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection, French Garden.  I also have the matching dies, but, I didn't realize that until after I stamped on the background. Sheesh.  [They are now attached together 😁]

My HB is from Memory Box Signature Greetings.  Between the hand writing font, and the matching dies, this is a go to set for me!

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #297 and play along.  While being something new is an option, being a birthday is not.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #296 - Masculine

Well I have no problem with this challenge!  80% of my cards are for males 😀

Yes, I got on the bandwagon with GKD Die Master 14.   It is rather fun to use.  The leaf images are from Pink Fresh Fall Foliage Stencil.

Leaves and dark colors - yep, that makes for a great masculine card!

Your turn.  Come on over to STB #296 Challenge and join in.  While being a masculine card is optional, being a birthday card is not~

Seize the Birthday Challenge #295 - 1 Focal

What this means is, in your card, for the focal image, use only one stamp and stamp it only once. No more stamping is allowed on the focal image. However, you are free to color it and free to do anything else with the rest of the card.

I went into my "Laura Box" and looked for a floral image.  FOUND ONE! This set is from Pretty Pink Posh, Arch Florals.  [Also available are matching stencils, and dies. It is fun to have them all match.]

I used a colorful background and kept the image black & white.  [I believe I followed the directions 😉]

My sentiment is gold foiled - it doesn't photograph well, but looks fabulous in real life!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #294 - Feather

It was my choice for this challenge.  I probably should of used a crow on my card [for a Halloween birthday] but instead, I just went literal.

A very simple card, which will work perfectly for a masculine birthday.  I used some fun feathers from Spellbinders.

I do love the striking gold against the stark black.  Definitely works for an October birthday.

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #294 and show us how you use feather on your card.  If you just want to create a general birthday card, that's fine too.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #293 - Dots

I do love me some dots!

I went with a very basic birthday card.  Some designer paper with dots, and die cut images.  Yes, this was a quick [last minute] needed card.

Sometimes quick is a good thing!

Your turn.  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along!  While dots are an option, being a birthday card is not.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #292 - Celebrate

This is a fun challenge.  I went through my stash looking at my different celebrate stamps and dies, and found the perfect font stamp to go with the other stamp I found - that was still in the sealed packaging!

How cute is this!  This [retired] house-mouse images just make me smile.  They are really easy to color too! [That's a win in my book]

The fun Paper Smooches Bold Buzzwords celebrate is perfect with the image, and also for the challenge!

Your turn.  Show us how you use the word celebrate, or just make a birthday card and play along over at Seize the Birthday Challenge.
