CutCardStock Day

I went with a different color combo [for me] but I really wanted to use the fabulous Metallic Copper, along with the Cream Metallic Opal.  It worked beautifully with being a shaker card too!

The flowers and leaves are from a [really] old Tim Holtz die, and the Hello is from Dare2BArtzy Hello.  Sequins and gems are from my stash.  I wish I could catch the pretty metallic shine this card stock has with my photography [just another resolution for 2026 😏].

AAA Birthday Challenge #70 - Ink Smooshing

It's my choice for this month's challenge.  Ink smooshing is fun, I hope you join in!

I went really [really] subtle!  I created a smooshed panel [using green and blue oxide inks], dried it, and stamped it, using Dare 2B Artzy, BEEutiful with matching dies.

The sentiment is is from [Laura's box] Simon Says Bold Smiles with matching dies.  The textured background is from STAMPlorations Circles All Over Cover Plate.

Addicted to CAS Challenge #254 - Bloom

You can never go wrong with flowers on a card :).  Keeping it CAS - oh yes please.

I used Simon Says Little Sunflower Die. [Love this die!]  By adding some ink to the inside, it gives this flower a lot of depth. 

The Layered Hello Die is from Dare 2B Artsy.  [Really a great price point too!]

Just Us Girls Challenge #692 - Word Week

It's been a minute since I used a bee on my card.  I knew I had the perfect stamp though.  Dare 2B Artzy BEEtiful, has the cutest little bee!  Dare 2B Artzy Shine also had a great flower to use on my background.

I actually did some masking on this card, something I rarely do.  Using the matching flower die, I cut some masking tape shapes, and laid it on my card.  [I do not like the placement of these flowers - I really struggle with a balanced card!] I sponged on some ink to cover the panel, removed the masks, and then realigned the flower stamp and stamped. I colored with Copics. 

Last steps, I outlined the flowers with a gray [faux shadowing] and to downplay the stark white outline of the die, and added some white splatters.  Yep, folks, this a one layer card.

Happy Little Stampers May Stencil Challenge

I love that it is anything goes for this monthly challenge.  Really does make it easy to make a card.

I used a few stencils for this card, some bought, some handmade.  I like that you can layer stencils and get a really awesome effect.  I made this card for our neighbors who loss their furry feline.

The sentiment is from Dare 2B Artzy Pet Sympathy, and the paw is from MFT Paw Prints Die-namics.  My neighbors appreciated the card.

SCS Featured Stamper

Out of all the challenges, I think this is my most favorite.  It is fun to look at a gallery and see what inspires me.  Today is Kathy.  While her gallery is small, there is a lot to inspire me.  I chose THIS card.

For my changes, I chose ink blending, and sanding off some of the ink from the embossing folder; Simon Says Roseville Bouquet.  I outlined it in gold and kept the Hello word die, Dare 2 B Artzy Hello, backed with gold for balance.  Yep, I'm happy with this card.

Addicted to CAS Challenge #221 - Stripes

I do adore stripes on cards!

I went sort subtle, but I got my stripes in!

I used a die from Pink Fresh Studio, Color Block Stripes Die, that makes stripes so easily!  I cut and adhered them onto some copy paper, and then cut out a circle with the Simon Says Nested Circle Wafer Die.

I used the fun Hello Die from Dare 2B Artzy.  I like word dies that have a background, and most importantly [to me] is a good price point!

Just Us Girls Challenge #634 - Photo Inspiration Week

 

Rather then try to "re-create" our photo inspiration [which I usually do],  I let myself be inspired.

I used an embossing folder for the "basket weave", and grabbed a few flowers from Dare 2B Artsy's Wishing Happiness, and colored those close to the flower colors from the photo.

I grabbed a Simon Says Sentiment Strip, and adhered that over the top of everything, (from the black in the tires.)  I am also entering this into the Can You Handle the Pressure Challenge; Anything Goes with Embossing.  I didn't use the twist of a butterfly.

Happy Little Stampers December Stencil Challenge

You can't go wrong when its Anything Goes!

 

 

I had a great time playing for this month's challenge.

 

I started with an inked panel that I made the other day.  My friend and I wanted to try the self made blending solution [50mm 91% rubbing alcohol to 4-5 drops of glycerin], and I LOVED the way it worked!  I'll be making my own from now on. [That is going to save me a ton of money 😀]  Meanwhile, I used a Miss Inks Stamps Diagonal Stencil with colored embossing paste for the stencil usage.

I decided to use some of my Dare 2B Artzy products to complete this card; BEEutiful stamp set, with matching dies, and then the MC word die.

I used Gina Marie Designs Tree Framed Background Die.

Dare 2B Artzy Release

Welcome to day 2 for Dare 2B Artzy's July Release.  All products for this release will be available end-August.

Today I used the fun Ski Bear stamp set, along with the Chocolate Moose paper and Grizzly Bear paper.

This card will be perfect for my nephew who is a skier!

For my final card sample, I used the stunning Oasis stamp set.

 The detail is amazing in the images in this set!
