Addicted to CAS Challenge #244 - Leaves

Sadly, challenges are beginning to reflect the coming Fall.  I'M SILL IN SUMMER MODE! ;)  THat said, I'll be good...;)

I used a retired Birch Press Die from my "organizational find" dies, and another really old Hero Arts WOOD stamp, using the vellum for this delicate leaf.

My hb is computer generated.

Some More Challenges

I am sooooo addicted to stamping!  Yep, just call me a Stampaholic.  With retirement stamping has become a lifeline.  I do some reading, but yep, stamping takes up 1/2 my day - everyday!  That said, I am done with ALL my DT work through the beginning of October [!] and so I am always looking for challenges.  Today I am joining in at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge; Anything Goes, and CAS Colours & Sketches #489; sketch.

Let's start with SS;

I used an older Birch Press Layered Die circle. While this one is no longer available, there are other fun ones HERE.  Layering with this die is really fun :).  I also used [my staple] super fun Large Gnome Die from Simon Says.  This guy is awesome!

The sentiment is also from Simon Says Christmas Sentiments.

I went on to join CAS Colours & Sketches since I really liked the sketch.

 

While the sketch is landscape, I went with vertical, but otherwise - pretty literal.  I adhered a fun Simon Says Tree die [last years release] to the snowy hills.

The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Holiday Greetings with matching dies.

Just Us Girls Challenge #611 - Color Week

I'm the Hostess this week over at the JUGS Challenge.  I'm changing Autumn up by using a different version of color. [Yeah, getting tired of yellow, orange and red].  Many images can be used with this color combo.

In my cases, I went with a Birch Press Die. (Apparently, the one I used is no longer available).

My "white" card stock is cream - just didn't photograph correctly [no surprise].  I started by embossing the background panel with the We R Memory Keepers Geometric 3D Embossing Folder.

I also used the Thanks Shadow Die from Simon Says.

Playing in a few Challenges

It's becoming that time of the year when my DT duties are calming down.  That said, it gives me time to join in some fun challenges - just for the fun of it!

The Simon Says Monday Challenge interested me; We Can See Clearly Now, along with the Inkspirational Challenge #241 - Slim Line Card.  

I purchased some fabulous slim line dies from Kat Scrappiness. [See affiliated links below] I seriously am impressed with these dies - they cut like butter!  One time through my Big Shot, and the panel was cut!  Nice, deep dies is a good thing in my book :).

See what I mean about the dies?  They are perfect for the mini slim line cards [that I adore making!].

For the SS We Can See Clearly Now portion, I used some acetate and made a fun shaker card.

My Hello is from Birch Press.  I do love the block print look on this slimline card.

 I also used the left over middle of the Birch Press Designs die from yesterday's post.

Just Us Girls #450 - Color Week

 

I had fun with the colors this week.

 I got a new die Birch Press Design Premium Layered Set Craft, along with the awesome Ranger Letter It Birthday stamp set.

 This layered die is awesome, and I adore the font on the sentiment too.  I also liked the way I added in the fun pink ;).
