AAA Card Challenge #321 - 1+1

I had to go really digging to find some farm images!

However, you all know me - I persevered and found a stamp set!  [I'm thinking 15 years old?  I do hoard my stamps!]

Worked out perfectly!  Will I use this card for anything? Nope.  However, I did enjoy the sentiment :).

Your turn.  Come on over to AAA Card Challenge #321 and play along with the 1+1 challenge.  Remember to keep it CAS.

CutCardStock Day

It's time for another CCS card!

Today I went a little different by creating a mixed media style using the card stocks.

I used the following colors:  Brilliant White, Textured Adobo, Basis Blue, Aqua, Natural Twine, and Black.  I ripped some pieces of card stock and adhered onto a seperate panel. I used some modeling paste and added some stenciling, and lastly, I tapped on some splatter.

Once that dried, I adhered on the Crow [STAMPlorations Purched Bird], and added on a cut up sentiment strip.  Yep, I can say, I am very happy with this end result.

See you next week~

Just Us Girls Challenge #836 - Word Week

I have had a few challenges lately requiring the word water.  Rather than doing my usual beach scene, I went literal with a "water" colored card.

I went to my friend Pinterest and found a watercolored thank you card that I was inspired by.  I inked up my stamp, spritzed with water, and stamped.  I then took a paint brush and blended some of the ink together.

A cute little mini water colored card definitely works for  this challenge.

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #836 and show us how you create a "water" card.  So many possibilities~

STAMPlorations Day

It's STAMPlorations Day and I have a fun card today!

I started with this beautiful girl from the Retro Femme ATC [6 different designs - 18 sheets], and built the card design from there.  I grabbed a sheet of dp from my stash, stamped the Blossom Spray #2 for a background, and ran it through with the All Over Circles Textured Cover Plate for added interest.  It wasn't "talking" to me, so, I grabbed the Bloomtangled #2 Cover Plate and cut out 2 panels.  I sponged ink on the top one, glued the two together for dimension, and adhered on top of the dp. Now it was "talking"!

Using the Simple Expressions; Collect Clear Stamps. I made a banner type of sentiment, adhered that to the card, and finally added her on.  Doesn't she make a lovely focal imaged?!  Sometimes, the more you work with a card, the happier you are with the end result!  Win-win there.

Don't forget to stop by the store!  Shery has so many different offers! Subscriptions available, new products, and pricing that is amazing!  The Cover Plates are all BOGO 50% off, the new Simple Expressions are only $5, most of the stamp sets are ALL on sale.  It is worth your time to pop over!  Just sayin~

You can also use my code! for 20% off.

See you next week~

CutCardStock Day

Today I made a really bright card!  This time of year I totally love yellow.

I used the following colors of card stock:  Astrobright Solar Yellow and 80# Cougar White Smooth. Only 2 colors, but with the added inks, I'm very happy with the end result!

See you next week~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #314 - Water

Well this is my type of challenge!

I used my oval dies [keeping with the current trend], brushed on ink for a gorgeous ocean, added a little ground with sand, and added this adorable ephemera turtle [I won] from Not 2 Shabby.  He so makes me smile.

I added a complementary sentiment, and this fun card is complete!

Your turn!  Come on over to ATCAS #314 and upload your card showing water.
