I totally LOVE layers on my cards. This is going to be so fun!

By George, I think I did it 😀

How's that for some layers?  Yep, I am loving this card.

CutCardStock Day

The weeks are so flying by! It's Saturday again, and that means it CCS Day for you.

I'm pretty much done with the Christmas cards I need [hopefully] - I mail them out on Monday.  Today will probably be the last of creating for my stash.

For my card, I used the [so fabulous] Holiday Habenaro Red card stock.  I adore how vivid this red is.

I embossed the background, and used the Gold Non-Shedding Glitter card stock and Red Glitter card stock for the fun ornaments.  I used a negative die cut for the sentiment, also in the Gold.

Already then, this is the end of November.  I'll see you next week in December!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #296 - Masculine

Well I have no problem with this challenge!  80% of my cards are for males 😀

Yes, I got on the bandwagon with GKD Die Master 14.   It is rather fun to use.  The leaf images are from Pink Fresh Fall Foliage Stencil.

Leaves and dark colors - yep, that makes for a great masculine card!

Your turn.  Come on over to STB #296 Challenge and join in.  While being a masculine card is optional, being a birthday card is not~

Just Us Girls Challenge #755 - Anything Stencil

I do love this  challenge.  There are so many ways to use a stencil.  We also get a lot of players - that alone is a fun win!

I went with a partial stenciling technique.  I see it a lot, I never seem to do it.  Well, I did today!

After stenciling, I added a fun little mitten and glittery red bow.

The Happy Christmas Reverse Sentiment Strip works with this cute image.

Your turn.  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge #755 and play along!  Using a stencil is so easy. 😀

CutCardStock Day

I'm still in the Christmas card stage of building up my stash.

I have said this before, I will say it again - I adore mini slimline cards!  For this card I used Bonsai Green card stock, and Re-Entry Red card stock for the background panel.  I think the reindeer looks quite fun with the Non-Shedding Gold Glitter card stock.

The sentiment, gems and tiny bow just help to finish off another card for my stash!

See you next week~

Just Us Girls Challenge #754 - Moodboard Week

 Here is a bigger photo for you;

I do love a good inspiration photo!  There are so many creations to be made from this one~

I loved the cute little snowman in the board, and I knew the perfect die to use - Tim Holtz Chilly & Breezy.  [I only used one of the 2 snow people this limited set came with.]  I also picked up on the stack of presents.  I loved the red in this board.

I used a snowball die for his surroundings, and actually STAMPED a sentiment.  [It's been awhile since I have done that].  This card does make me smile.

Your turn!  How does the inspiration board inspire you?  Come on over to JUGS #754 and play along!

CutCardStock Day

I knew there was a reason why I don't care for regular slimline cards - photographing them is a nightmare!  That said, my cousin gave me some colored legal envelopes and I wanted to use them.  Ha!  I got one used anyway.

Listed below are the card stocks I used to make this card;

While I do like this end result, I will be staying with the mini slimline.

See you next week!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #295 - 1 Focal

What this means is, in your card, for the focal image, use only one stamp and stamp it only once. No more stamping is allowed on the focal image. However, you are free to color it and free to do anything else with the rest of the card.

I went into my "Laura Box" and looked for a floral image.  FOUND ONE! This set is from Pretty Pink Posh, Arch Florals.  [Also available are matching stencils, and dies. It is fun to have them all match.]

I used a colorful background and kept the image black & white.  [I believe I followed the directions 😉]

My sentiment is gold foiled - it doesn't photograph well, but looks fabulous in real life!

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While having 1 focal image is an option, being a birthday is not.

Just Us Girls Challenge #753 - Word Week

I inked up the background embossed panel, added the poinsettias, and the negative cut from the Joy.

It needed something, so I added some gold thread - perfect!  Now, I am happy with this card.

Your turn!  Come on over to the JUGS #753 Challenge and join in.
