AAA Card Challenge #307 - Color

It's time for a great color combo!  Remember to keep it CAS.

Usually I kind of struggle with a color challenge - not sure why, but that's the case.  That said, this one came together quite easily. So, YAY.

I do enjoy a good CAS card 😀

Okay, your turn.  Come on over to AAA Challenge #307 and show us how you use the colors!

AAA Birthday Challenge #82 - Slimline

I so love making slimline cards!

I used papers from CutCardStock - [love that texture].  The fun images [retired of course]are from Katscrappiness, and a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays [OOB].

I'm rather happy with this card.

Your turn! Come on over to AAA Birthday Challenge #82 and show us your slimline card.

CutCardStock Day

Well this is a serious change from last week's card being all black! That said, I totally am loving the use of the different colors on my card for today.
I used the following colors:  #130 Cougar White for the card base, Metallic Vista Stardream, Pop Tone Grape Jelly, and Hydrangea Purple for the Spellbinders Bold Bloomed Etched Dies for the flowers.

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE my MAC computer.  I think this is the first time EVER that I actually got a photo of the correct colors of purple.  Yay 😀

See you next month~

Just Us Girls Challenge #808 - CASE a DT

It's always fun to see who you CASE for this challenge!

I like to have a few sympathy cards in my stash.  Usually, you need them like 'right now'.  Having a few in the stash helps.

A butterfly is the perfect image [IMO] for this type of card.  It works perfectly for a unisex card.

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #808, check out the DT's cards, choose one, and CASE away.  I look forward to seeing who you pick~

January Instagram Embossing Folder Hop

I have joined in a new to me hop over on Instagram, Embossing Folders.  I love this idea since I have a bunch of embossing folders, and have been getting in to all the different techniques you can do with them!  The theme this month is Love is in the Air.

For my Valentine's Day card, I inked up the ef and ran it through my cutter machine about 2 times re-inking both times.  The trick is to tape down your card stock in the folder so it doesn't move, then re-ink the folder as many times as needed to get the coverage you want.  This is really a fun technique, and I love the end result.

I centered the clustering so as to show off more of the background. Yep, I'm happy with this.

You can pop on over to this Instagram Embossing Folder Hop to see more cards HERE.

CutCardStock Day

This is the first time that I have made a black card using CCS products!  [Slap me surprised]
I used the following 2 colors of card stock:  Astrobright Black, Bright Foil

While I only used 2 colors, I am rather thrilled with this card!  I adore the gold usage too 😀

See you next week~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #300 - Food

I have had this French fry die for at least 3 years and yep, never used it.  I thought this was the perfect die for this challenge.  Easy to keep the card CAS when you only use 1 item, AND, it's such a fun item!

Your turn!  Come on over to Addicted to CAS Challenge #300 and play along.  Any food will work.
