Just Us Girls Challenge #825 - Stencil Week

I love a good anything goes challenge :)

I used the ARTploration stencil, Evolution for my background, the dotted stencil from Tim Holtz, and a sentiment from Verve.

I'm not sure who made the fun coffee cups, but they worked on this card. :)

Your turn.  Come on over to JUGS #825 and show us your stencil card.  Add something coffee, and you too can play in the Coffee Lovers Hop.

Instagram Embossing Folder Hop

I am creating this card for the Instagram Embossing Folder Hop.  The theme is the Blackout Technique.  I grabbed an embossing folder, and went on to create a coffee card.  There's a win.

For my first attempt I tried a yellow "blackout" - I did not like it.  So, I went back to actual black, and was happy the way the sunflowers stood out.  I added some yellow for a slight Spring/Summer feel.

I have had this cup die for many years - never using it.  It became a goal to use it.  I added some designer papers to separate the cups, and it's okay.  This card will work.

You can see more Blackout Techniques over on Instagram HERE.

Memory Box Day

I'm back today with the rest of the Memory Box Sun Kissed Summer Release. I made a bright Spring/Summer card.  Very bright and fun!

For this card I used the following products:  Cinched Frames Dies, Arched Flower Basket Die, and Brilliant Butterflies Dies.  To brighten this card even more, I made the basket a pretty color rather than the standard brown.  That, and all the pretty flowers, I used the 6x6 Solid Core Cardstock Collections; Sunrise Solid Core, Greenery Solid Cardstock, Lagoon Solid Cardstock.  The sentiment is from Birthday Greetings.

I'm sure who ever I send this to will appreciate the bright, pretty colors, and all the fun flowers!

See you next week~

AAA Card Challenge #315 - Sketch

A nice and easy sketch

I used a coffee cup die that I have had for years - [AND will continue to keep until it doesn't cut no more!] I wanted a pretty cup so I used one of STAMPlorations Vintage Rose Card Fronts.  I simply lined up the cup die to the "prettiness" I wanted from the card front, and cut it out. Totally worked for me.  I have a pretty cup now.

I grabbed a sentiment, and this sketchy card is done!

You can add your card over at AAA Card Challenge #315.

CutCardStock Day

For today's card I used CutCardStock papers; 130# White Heavy [tag base] and Textured Caribbean Blue.

I started by cutting a bookmark, and stenciling it with Newtons Nook Mug StencilI then stamped, cut, and colored [Copics] the stack of coffee cups from Newtons Nook Coffee Delights, and adhering them onto the bookmark.  These Newton nook products were my prize from the last CLH.

For an added "gift", I adhered the bookmark onto a stenciled card base.

And, that my friends is it for today.  See you next week~
