Addicted to CAS Challenge #203 - Rain

I have had this "water" stamp for probably a year.  Finally, I decided this was the challenge to use it.

I used a stamp set from an OOB.  The image and sentiment goes so well with the Local King Dew Stamp, and of course, this challenge.

Your turn!  Come on over to the Addicted to CAS Challenge and show us how you see rain. :)

Just Us Girls Challenge #595 - Wild Card Week

I'm looking forward to the gallery this week.  I like ABC projects~

I needed a small tag to go with a small gift I am giving to my friend.  Perfect timing for this challenge.

I got this tiny tag die from - I have no idea.  It sure worked perfectly to hang off the bag holding the gift.

The ty is from GKD Watercolor Flower Stamp Set.  I just love the font.

This cute kitty is probably 20 years old.  He is so adorable, I hoard him ;)

Your turn.  Come on over to JUGS and show us anything but a card.

Heartfelt Creations Alumni July Hop

May be an image of jewelry, flower and text that says 'heartfelt creations Win a $25 Gift Certificate with the Alumni Blog Hop!'

It's time for the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop.  Once again, prepare to be amazed at the beautiful creations that are made with HFS products. Did you know today is International Friends Day? It's also the first time that Heartfelt Creations is joining the Alumni Team for this blog hop. In honor of these two great events, , Heartfelt Creations is offering a second $25 giveaway for those that come to their blog hop post. (You can find the list at the bottom of this post.)

I really like "clustering" of flowers.  This worked so well with the Sun Kissed Fleur stamp set, with the Sun Kissed Fleur matching dies.  I love the one stamp = lots of flowers at once.  Once the flowers were cut, I used the smooshing ink technique to color them.  I also used the Butterfly Dreams Collections paper.

The leaves are from the Floral Shoppe Accent Dies. My sentiment is from For My Friend Sentiments.  The gems I used, use to be carried in the store, but no longer.  Sorry about that.  My card was made before I noticed.  My bad.

That's it for me this month.  Below are the participating designers.  Just hop along, leaving comments along the way, and you could be the randomly drawn name for the $25 gift certificate offered by HFC.

Kathy Clement - Carole Wright - Alissa Wells - Candy Slabaugh

Amarilys Doria - ME - Monica Edwards - Lisa Gregory - Magdalena Ruta - Oksana Clegg

Everyone who leaves a comment on the Heartfelt Creations Blog will be entered into the drawing. You have until 11:55 PM EDT on Monday, August 2nd to leave your comment.
The winners of both gift cards will be posted on the Heartfelt Creations blog and Facebook page on Wednesday, August 4th. Be sure to check to see if you are one of the lucky winners!
You can claim your prize by emailing socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us. Please write Winner of the July Alumni Blog Hop in the subject line.
Have fun hopping!

Announcement and Challenges

I haven't even shared with you all -- I am now a Trinity Ambassador!  I'm excited to see what this all entails.  Meanwhile, I made a card just to show you one of the many gorgeous images Trinity Stamps carries.

I sponged on the Oxide inks on the card panel, and then stamped the Blooming Bunch image using Versafine Black Ink.  I just love the starkness of this ink.  It worked awesome on top of the oxide inks too.

I added some black ink sprinkles, sequins, and lastly, a sentiment from my "magic cup".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went onto play in The Card Concept #158 [I just adore beachy inspiration], along with Simon Says [my brand new affiliate company!] Challenge - Anything Goes.  Here is the [love it!] inspiration;

I started with a couple of water colored panels [from my stash] and used the [so] fabulous Memory Box Grand Tulip Shell to cut out the shell. I.am.in.love. with this die!  So fun.

I water colored the background, and [actually added sand to the wet paint], some black sprinkles, and a sentiment from my "magic cup". I am thrilled with this inspired card.

A Couple of Challenges

When I saw the CASE card from Less is More Challenge #448, fate was speaking to me.  At my gym there is a wall picture that has 3 panels and I have been wanting to create a card similar to that.  Between these 2 inspirations, I had to join in at LIM!  Here is the card for CASEing;

Here is mine:

I started by stamping ferns from Altenew Wild Ferns and using a Pretty Pink Posh die [no name, no find] to cut the squares.  I stamped some fun images from Clearly Besotted Scribbled Flowers and fussy cut them out.

Using a birthday sentiment strip from Simon Says, this card is done.  I am very happy with the end result.

======================================================

I went  on to play in the CAS on Sunday 210 - Tiny Images.

I went digging in some unused stamp sets, and came up with a gorgeous Gina K Design set; Watercolor Flowers.  Using a DIY wreath builder, and using the smaller images, I stamped a faux wreath.

The beautiful font sentiment is from the same set.  Yep, I am very happy with this card too. ;)

Thanks Challenges - I had fun!

STAMPlorations Inspirations #327

It's time again for another day of STAMPlorations inspiration.  Once again for today's card, I used some of the [so fun] ATC card fronts.  I just love these creations.  Shery has even added a new subscription package!  You can read all about it HERE.

This time, I used 4 of the cards [from Watercolor ATC Journaling Cards, cut them a little smaller to fit the card panel, and then I adhered that onto a pink card panel for framing.

I used the stunning Flutter Zen 1 Layering Dies butterfly.  I just love this guy!  This can be used in so many different ways - gotta love a versatile product.

That's it for me today.  Pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog and see what my Teamies have created.  Meanwhile, leave your comment for the monthly $15 prize code, and if you want, you can use my code STAMPGIRLVICKID, to save 20% off your purchase.

CAS-ual Fridays July Release - Final Day

For the final day of CFS July release, we are featuring the Falling Leaves Stencil.

I had fun with this card.  I started out with the Falling Leaves and sponged on 3 colors in an angled direction.  I then sponged the dots from the Snowflake Stencil over the top..
I stamped a sentiment from Cofee'isms Stamp set.

For the last step, I used the adorable tiny coffee cup from Coffee Cup Dies.

===================================================================
I wanted a brighter card, so using yellow, I sponged on the leaves, and then highlighted them with an orange pencil.  For the center panel, I used the same dots [as the previous card] and used a sentiment from Terrific Flowers stamp set.

Lastly, I stamped, and colored the leaves from Pretty Posies.

That's it for this release  I hope you have enjoyed the last few days. Remember, if you use my code [below], you can save 15% off your purchase.

If you want to see more creations, pop on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Blog and check out what the teammates have created.
