AAA Birthday Challenge #86 - For the Boys

This is always a fun challenge when it's for boys.  Since 90% of my cards I make are masculine, it's also an easy one. 😉

I totally love this guy!  [I also had forgotten I had him.] I'm glad I remembered, cuz he really is perfect for a fun little boy card.  Yep, my grandson is totally into dinosaurs and this one is for him!

Yes, I'm smiling too!

Your turn.  Come on over to AAA Birthday Challenge #86 and show us your for the boys card.

For this card, I used the Pinpoint Flower Plate, Woven Flower Basket Dies, and Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.

I hope you liked my month end basket of flowers 😀

Addicted to CAS Challenge #309 - Critter

I went a diggin in some really old stamps and found this fun guy.  I'll probably never use him again [skunks are not my favorite], but he worked for this card.

I thought the sentiment was kinda perfect too.  :)

Your turn!  Come on over to Addicted to CAS Challenge #309 and show us your critter.

Just Us Girls Challenge #825 - Stencil Week

I love a good anything goes challenge :)

I used the ARTploration stencil, Evolution for my background, the dotted stencil from Tim Holtz, and a sentiment from Verve.

I'm not sure who made the fun coffee cups, but they worked on this card. :)

Your turn.  Come on over to JUGS #825 and show us your stenciled card.

Instagram Embossing Folder Hop

I am creating this card for the Instagram Embossing Folder Hop.  The theme is the Blackout Technique.  I grabbed an embossing folder, and went on to create a coffee card.  There's a win.

For my first attempt I tried a yellow "blackout" - I did not like it.  So, I went back to actual black, and was happy the way the sunflowers stood out.  I added some yellow for a slight Spring/Summer feel.

I have had this cup die for many years - never using it.  It became a goal to use it.  I added some designer papers to separate the cups, and it's okay.  This card will work.

You can see more Blackout Techniques over on Instagram HERE.
