Wishing You

So yeah, I think I am permanently flagged by Blogger at this point.  85% of my posts are getting flagged for whatever. Seriously, my little ole blog?  Sheesh.  So, I am going to try changing up the titles - we shall see...

Today I am joining in a few challenges with my card; Color Throw Down #770; greens and black - Inkspirational #303 - Seasonal, and CAS on Sunday #271 - Christmas.

I watched a video the other day by Michelle Short, and was very inspired.  I love the end result this technique has.  The colored ink just pops!

I used a 3D embossing folder - I thought it was Simon Says, but I can't find it.  Naturally, I didn't label the darn thing!  The Christmas sentiment strip is from Simon Says.

Just Us Girls Challenge #707 - CAS Week

I might have pushed this challenge, but I'm still going with it  [An oval is almost a circle 😉 ]  Plus, I really liked my card.

I have had this tree like forever, and it works beautifully on this CAS card for another Christmas card for my stash.

The sentiment strip is from Simon Says.

This is the last challenge for our Just Us Girls Challenge for 2023.  We hope you play along with us.  You can upload your card over on the JUGS #707 Challenge

Seize the Birthday Challenge - Fall Items

This is the final challenge of 2023.  [Wowza but this year flew by!]

Here is my card for this challenge;

I was going through my "stuff", and came across this burlap.  I totally love the texture this creates on a card.  Sometimes it does pay to go through your stash...

I'm not sure who the dies are from, but I cut the leaf from a stashed alcohol inked panel, and the hearts from some shiny gold card stock.  The happy birthday [computer generated] is gold foiled - boy that product really doesn't like to photograph.  It's pretty in real life.

Okay, your turn!  We hope you join in our last 2023 challenge over at Seize the Birthday.  While the fall items is optional, being a birthday card is not.

Just Us Girls Challenge #706 - Photo/ Moodboard Week

I instantly picked up on the Cardinal.  My favorite bird ever!

I got this awesome Honey Bee's, Lovely Layered Winter Birds die set this year.  I AM IN LOVE with this set!  I think this Cardinal is stunning.

I started with a textured coverplate panel [love the look of background texture], added some foliage behind him, added a sentiment, and this beauty is done.

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS Challenge #706, and show us how the moodboard inspired you~

Just Us Girls Challenge #705 - Word Week

Ha!  My card is so far from Fall colors, but I'm okay with that!  I do not send out Thanksgiving cards, so a thank you card works for my stash perfectly.

I do love creating graphic cards - it's so easy when using dies to do it too. 😀

I prettied up the thanks with some taped off inking and glitter embossing.  Adds a little something, something to the words.  A few sequins, and this fun mini slimline turned out awesome.

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS Challenge #705 and share your Thanks/Thanksgiving card.

2023 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Last Day

Here we are with the last day of the 2023 Fall/Winter Coffee Blog Hop.

Fun layers, fun coffee cups 😀

I can't tell you who's products any of these dies are.  So sad I didn't do better when I made my storage for all the dies I have.  Hindsight is 20/20.

Just a quickie card today.  I'm in the process of packing..cruise baby!  I can't wait!  Meanwhile, I hope you enjoyed seeing all my coffee projects over the past 8 days!  I know I had fun creating them.

Huge THANKS goes to Amy Tsuruta for running this super popular hop, and of course all the lovely Sponsors!

2023 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 7

I'm late for Day 7 of the 2023 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Hop, but I got it done!  I used the fun [retired] Hello Bluebird, Bold Holiday Stamp/Dies.

I used the negative Merry portion of the die for a different look.

And, added a couple of cute coffee cups, and my Day 7 card is complete.

Have you popped over to see the gallery?  Lots and lots of awesome coffee cards!

Seize the Birthday Challenge - Neutral Colors

I do love this challenge!  While most of the time I use bright colors, I also really enjoy using neutrals!

I also love me a graphic card.  This challenge was a total win for me.

The sentiment is from a retired Hero Arts, Many Birthday Messages.

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While using neutral colors is an option, being a birthday card is not.

2023 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 6

I had some time, so I thought I would create yet another coffee card for the 2023 Fall/ Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop going on; Day 6

I used another fun digi from LovelyPlanner.com.  This sheet of coffee cups has been my go-to for at least 2 years - maybe 3!  I adore the different sizes available.

I made [my favorite this year] a mini slimline base, inked on a moon, and some hills, stamped some trees, and added some splatter of "snow".

The sentiment is an old freebie from Verve.  [I did look for it, but Julee - Verve, must have eliminated it].  I'm very happy with my Wintery coffee card.
