Heartfelt Creations February Alumni Hop

It's the Heartfelt Creations February Alumni Hop today.  I do enjoy the last Friday of the month :)

For this hop, I made an album project.  This is a first for me to create and, it went pretty smooth! [You gotta love You Tube and those crafty stampers in cyber space!]

Here is the album all closed up and ready for the recipient.

Here it is opened;

To make this, I used the paper from the Peacock Paisley Paper Collection. The way this beautiful paper matches is perfect for this type of project.

For the cover of the album's flowers, I used the Oakberry Lane Blossom [with matching dies], and the leaves are from Small Garden Zinnia [with matching dies]

That's it for me today.  Below is the list of Designers joining in today's hop.  Be sure and leave a comment for the $25 gift certificate - 1 lucky winner drawn randomly from comments left on the blogs.   Have fun hopping~

Kathy Clement - ME - Amarilys Doria - Monica Edwards - Candy Slabaugh

Alissa - Carole - Lisa - Oksana - Emily

STAMPlorations Inspirations #308

It's time again for another STAMPlorations inspiration.  Today I am using a digi from the store, Sketched Blooms Digi.  This set comes with 4 different awesome flower images for $5 -- but you can use my 20% off code [see below] and it's only $4!

I used a basic layout, [which I do love], I used my Scan & Cut to cut the image out, and then colored the image with Copics.

The sentiment is from an older set [no longer available - sorry].

To see more inspiration, pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see my teamies creations.  Meanwhile, leave a comment for the $15 monthly, random, drawn gift code.

CAS-ual Fridays Day

It's time again for my CAS-ual Fridays post.  Michele has told us that CAS cards are not a requirement for this company - even with the name.  Today, I took her at her word 😀

I went crazy with layers!  I haven't made such a layered card in [it seems like] years!  [I was inspired by Ginny Nemchak from Polly's Paper Studio, and I was in the mood for a more elaborate card]  While I used all kinds of [unused] supplies in my stash, I did make the focal image the Coffee Cup Die from CFS, along with a sentiment from Hot Coffee stamp set.

This is going to make a fabulous birthday card for my coffee drinking friends!

Remember, if you use my code, you can save 15% off your purchase from CAS-ual Fridays.

A Few Challenges

Sometimes, my craft room just screams my name, and I have to go in and stamp!  Does that happen to you?  After checking my email, I came up with a few inspirational challenges that I wanted to play in.

The Paper Players #529 - CAS with a cat.  Oh yeah - thought of the perfect set for this challenge.

While this company is no longer in business, I have held on to these stamps as there are a lot I like.  Doesn't this image scream for this challenge?  Yeah, I thought so too.

I just love the detail of him~

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

For this last card, I joined it into 2 challenges; AAA Cards #184 with their Sketch, and CAS on Sunday #199 for the colors; Turquoise and Orange.

While, I really like this card, it might be pushing for the color challenge, but I really enjoyed the simple sketch.

I used an Altenew set for this card; Whimsical Flowers, along with a sentiment strip from Simon Says.

Thanks Challenges - I had fun :)

Just Us Girls Challenge #572 - Color Challenge

This is going to be a pretty gallery this week!

I have a niece who's hitting the teen years.  She isn't a girly girl, so this generic design will work perfectly for her!  I hope she enjoys it.

The curvy background is hand drawn and water colored. The 2 layered 13 was made with a cutter, and the sentiment is computer generated.  No companies products at all.  That said, I think this card still works perfectly! :)

Your turn.  Come on over to JUGS Challenge and show us how you use rainbow colors on your card.

Seize the Birthday Challenge

This will be an interesting gallery.  So many different types of "scenes" can be created!

I have become very fond of the mini slimline cards.  This one is 3.5 x 6.  It really is a nice size card.  Mailing might be tricky, but I really like this size alot!

I also love using colorful clouds on this style of card.  I used some Verve solid plant images, and some Hero Arts butterflies and a sentiment.

Yep, I am happy with my card for this challenge!

Your turn.  Come on over to the Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While the twist is optional, being a birthday card is not. :)  Have fun~
