March ATC Instagram Hop

Every time this challenge comes up, I am smiling.  I have so much fun making these smaller works of art!

I kinda used "Easter colors" to get out of my standard blue/green combo, and, all of these flower images, leaves, and even the sentiments, were in my stash of to-be-used stuff!  Major win for making these fun ATC's.

I am totally happy with these!

STAMPlorations Day

I have found that I've been having so much fun creating with STAMPlorations Papers - specifically, Botanical Beats, that I need to showcase them here on my blog!  Aren't these papers just stunning?!

They also make fast, easy, and of course, beautiful cards!  I simply added the Thankful Word Die, along with some artistic edging, and this card is done!

For this 2nd card, I made like a faux shadow box.  I used the Botanical Beats paper as a base, and turned it into a mixed media panel using the Happy Flower Stencil with some acrylic paint, a couple of self made stamped tissue paper swatches, and lastly, the Perched Bird Die, and a Word Die sentiment.

Adding some artsy framing just finishes off this fun card.

Have you checked out the STAMPlorations store?  Shery's pricing is so right-on-low with today's economy - I can get behind that! 😀

CutCardStock Day

I debated using this card today as to be honest, I only used Classic Crest Bright White Card Stock with a touch of Astrobright Black.

But you wouldn't know right?  I used the inking up an embossing folder technique.  I really think this is a beautiful effect.

Using the same white card stock, I foiled a sentiment.  

I have to say, I am rather thrilled with this card.

Just Us Girls Challenge #814 - Word Week

Embossing [folders] are such a trend right now.  Therefore,  that's the direction I went.

Because I used the stunning CutCardStock Metallic Lagoon card stock, I just went with the actual embossing.

The detail is so impressive with the embossing, and the card is so shimmery IRL - I'm very happy with my card!
