Trinity Cyber Monday Hop

Some of the Ambassadors for Trinity Stamps, are getting together over on Instagram for a hop for Cyber Monday.  Basically, we could use whatever stamp set that we like.  I am partial to Love You Bunches.  It's the first stamp set I got, and I wanted to try water coloring the image.

I am quite happy with the end results.  I do have to say, this image was pretty easy to color, which for me, is a win! ;)  [Another small note, I got THIS set of water color pens.  Just sharing a cheaper version, that worked perfectly!]

I also like that there are matching dies, even for the few sentiments that are included in the set. The way the die cuts around the words - yep, another win!

That's all for me today.  I am off to Instagram to see what the fellow Ambassadors created... Hope you do to~

More Awesome Challenges

One thing about joining in challenges this time of year, it motivates me to get all my needed Christmas cards made!

Today I am joining in at Inkspirational Challenge #252 - plaid.

I self made the plaid by using Newton's Nook Argyle Stencil Set.  It's a layered stencil, and, the first time I have used it!  It turned out pretty cool - I think.

I also used the Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas Combo set for the sentiment.  I gold embossed it to match the background, and the frame.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went on to play in the Less is More Challenge #457; Photo Inspiration.

I just adore inspiration challenges!  Photos, mood boards - they all work for me!

I love a good CAS card, and one that looks like a present works for me!  I used the fabulous PTI Merry Christmas Die [layered 3 times]. [I love the font of this die.]

I had the twine in my stash.  On a side note, I was happy to see that Kylie will be taking over this challenge.  It's been one of my favorites.  I would be sad to see it go.

That's it for another day~  Thanks Challenges.  As usual, I had fun 😀

Just Us Girls Challenge #612 - Photo Inspiration

There is lots going on on this photo, but since I am still into Christmas card motto, I picked up on the sign on the counter.

I really wanted the Fa La La background, so I Googled it and found it HERE.  I printed off a panel, and built the card from there.  I used a Christmas Tree from STAMPlorations, and the wreath? I'm not sure.

The Christmas Sentiment is from Simon Says.
By looking at the photo, apparently, I need more black ink. ;)  Oh well, the card still came together, and I'm going with it.

Your turn.  Pop on over to the JUGS Challenge #612 and show us how you are inspired by the photo.

Heartfelt Creations Alumni November Hop

It's time for the HFC Alumni November Hop.  This is also us sharing you a few of the Black Friday special products being released today!

I used the [so very elaborate] Simple Classic Oval Frame.  There are 10 (!) dies in this set, and it layers beautifully!  It is a larger die set, which fits perfectly on a 5x7 card!

The flowers and leaves are from the Flowering Dogwood stamp set, with [sold separately] matching dies.  Rather then coloring all these luscious flowers, I used the gorgeous Seasonal Wreath Paper Collection to add the color for me.  Because I used the muted colors, I added the pop of red for the centers.  [You know me, I need some bright :)].  I also used the Peacock Paisley Collection for the sentiment, AND, you can now get the stunning Gold Card stock at HFC too!

That's it for me.  Below is the list of today's Designers participating.  Don't forget to leave a comment for the $25 gift certificate given to 1 random commenter.  Good luck, and have fun hopping!

A Couple of Challenges Again

This time of year I seem to have a little more time for joining in at challenges.  I like that.

I loved this past Simon Says Monday Challenge - ATC's.  I so enjoyed the other one I made the other day, [but before SS challenge went live] I went on to make a couple more.  I just adore this layout with the sketchy framing!

I used a retired set from Simon Says created by Mama Elephant from 2013.  [Crazy how long I have had stamps]

I also used Simon Says Christmas Reverse Sentiments.  These strips of sentiments really are the bee's knees!  I am also entering these into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went on to play in the Paper Players Challenge #568 - Clean & Simple, Gnome.  This might not be CAS enough, but I so love the Simon Says Large Gnome Wafer Die, I figured I'd give it a shot.

Not CAS enough??  I think its cute enough though ;)

I used the CAS-ual Fridays Flaky A2 Panel Die, along with another Simon Says Reverse Sentiment Strip.

I had a great time challenges!  Thanks.

I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving has a fabulous holiday!

STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Hop & Give Away

It's that yearly time for the Giving Thanks Blog Hop and Give Away sponsored by STAMPlorations.

I made a simple card, that by using one [of the many] card fronts, makes it look amazing!

Seriously!  I just wish I could actually paint like this beautiful card front from Spring Forals A2 Card Fronts.  Since I can't, I sure am glad to have this set!

All I had to do was add a sentiment [from Grateful Flutters stamp set], and this card was complete!  [Can you say a 5 minute card?]

Shery does offer an every 6 week subscription for 4 Paper Goods pack for starting at $17.  That's a $28 value, and you will get 32 cards out of this!  That my friends, is an amazing deal!

That's it for me today.  You can pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to read about all the different chanced at prizes STAMPlorations is offering!  Have fun~

STAMPlorations Inspiration #344

Today I am sharing a card inspired by the Holiday Card Workshop 2021 sponsored by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner over at the Online Classes.  Yep, I actually paid to take this class. That's huge for me  since I usually can figure out how to create whatever a class is "offering".  I splurged, and boy am I glad I did.  I had so much fun creating about 24 cards!  It sure helped to almost fill my needed Christmas cards.

Anyway, back to my cards for today.  (You get a treat as I have 2 for today!)

I used the fun Christmas Icons- Nativity.  I can't really tell you what I did to create this [it's a paid class], but if you look, it's pretty easy to figure out how I made this. 😍

The sentiment is from Three Kings stamp set.

For my second card, I made some Northern Lights.  I love this effect.  I sure would love to see these in real life!

I used the MC from the Christmas Sentiments Phrase Dies.

I went to add something to the very bottom [I felt it needed something] and I DROPPED the stamp on the card.  Fortunately, I had photographed it before I ruined it! OMG - I so dislike when I do that!

That's it for today - you can pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog and see what my teamies have created.  Don't forget to leave a comment for the monthly random drawing~

Couple of Challenges

I took some time to play in a couple of challenges; A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge #4 - We Remember; Poppies and Peace On Earth Christmas #4 - a gorgeous mood board.

Let's start with A Tiny Craft;

I had a great time coloring in this image!  I have had this set from Technique Tuesday Budding Poppies for, well, I have no idea!  I never use it, but I really like it!  The plus, it worked perfectly on my ATC.

I also [first time] used a sentiment from Technique Tuesday My Hero. [No longer available]  Appropriate for this challenge [we remember] also.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is my Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge card.

Once again, I have had this die for years, and once again, the company is out of business.  That doesn't stop me from using it though [like every Christmas!].  I used a Simon Says Reverse Sentiment and some pretty gems from Kat Scrappiness.

I love being inspired by mood boards!

Thanks Challenges!  As usual I had fun~
