Memory Box Day

I'm happy you are here to see my card!

Fun right?  I used the following products to create this card:  Fan Stitched Scalloped Arch Frames, Pine and Berries Sprigs, (the adorable) Snowman and Birdie Friend [I didn't use the bird die], and for the sentiment, Christmas Wonder Clear Stamp and Die Set. 

I had so much fun making this card.  I started out by cutting and glueing together the 3 snowmen. I cut the large arch, added some ink for a shadow type background, and then adhered down the pine and berry sprigs.  I adhered the snowmen in an angle to leave room for the gold embossed sentiment.

Yep, I'm happy with this end result. See you next Monday ~

CutCardStock and Instagram CASE It Hop

I am joining in at the Instagram CASE It Hop today, and I am using CCS cardstock.  A win-win as this is my CCS day here on the blog.  I only had to make 1 card.  I like that.

I used the following CCS cardstock colors; Green Curry, Glitter Silver, Scottish Highlands, Yellow Jacket, and Hummingbird Teal.

I don't even know who this is, but her gallery is amazing.  

This card completely won me over with the sunflowers.

Just Us Girls Challenge #844 - Word Week

For this challenge, I went with my favorite, a shaker card.  They are just so fun to shake!

I cut out the cover plate [STAMPlorations Bloomtangled Cover Plate #1] and set it aside.  I grabbed a panel, covered it with a stamp packaging, filled it with sequins, and sealed it off.  I adhered that panel to a card base, and then adhered the cover plate.  I have to say, it was a very easy, less messy way, to make a shaker!

I'm kinda happy with this end result. :)

October Instagram Mini Slimline Card Hop

Out of all the card sizes, I think this is my favorite!  I do look forward to this hop too.

While searching for something else, I came across this fun balloon stencil. [Yep, totally forgot I had it.]. While at a friend's house, I made this card.  Quick and easy.

The Male Room Challenge #215 - Geometric

I am totally about a geometric card!  For today's, I went mixed media!

I grabbed some tissue paper, and ripped a book page, and started stenciling some basic geometric shapes, after adding on some acrylic ink.  I then tore some strips, and layered onto a cut panel for stability.

I did some paint splatter, and added a pre made sentiment.

I think this style of card is perfect for a masculine card!
