Just Us Girls Challenge #564 - Photo Inspiration Week

I always enjoy the Photo Inspiration challenge.  Once again, I went pretty literal.

I cut rectangles of different sizes out of designer paper, and added some gold thread and a die cut bow.

I then added a white embossed sentiment from MFT Snow Globe Sentiments.  Super fun card to make, and I really like the non-traditional colors.

Your turn!  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge and show us how you are inspired by the photo.  Remember, this is the last challenge of 2020.  We will return in January 2021!  Enjoy your holidays 🌲

Heartfelt Creations November Alumni Hop

Happy Black Friday! For this month's hop the Alumni Team is featuring the Black Friday release Gatefold Collection items. I used the Elegant Swiss Gateway Die.  A 4 piece, very elaborate set!  You are in a for a treat hopping this month!

For my "book type" card, I used 2 out of the 4 dies, papers from the Peacock Paisley Paper Pad, and flowers from Oakberry Lane Blossoms [and matching dies].

I used the papers to line the pages, and added some of the dimensional flowers, and on the last page I added another sentiment from Just For You Sentiments.

Here is the photo of it being displayed.

That's it for me.  As you can see, there are a lot of Designers playing with this amazing die.  I can't wait to see what they created!

Below is the list of Designers participating in this month's hop using the Black Friday release!

Kathy Clement -Sarah Miller - ME [you are here] - Sandy Hulsart - Candy Slabaugh

Kerry Urbatch - Magdalena Ruta - Emily Niehaus - Amarilys Doria - Lisa Gregory -

STAMPlorations Inspiration #295

It's time for the STAMPlorations Inspiration today.  Today I made a tag inspired by Karen Akesdotter's tag from over at Tracy's 25 Days of Christmas Tags, which I am entering into the fun yearly event.

Here is Karen's tag;

I was inspire by the circle cut out of the tag.

For my tag, I used the Tags #1 Nesting Dies for the base of my tag, and an image from the Joyful stamp set which I colored with Copics.

I also used the Noel [layered 3 times with a white shadow] from the Christmas Sentiments Phrase Dies.

Tags this time of year do work out perfectly for marking those gifts, or as a small gift inside the Christmas cards that are mailed out.

You can pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see what my teamies have made.  Don't forget to leave a comment for the monthly $15 prize.

The Project Bin Day

It's The Project Bin day here on my blog today.  Today I am using the Mid Century Christmas stamp set, along with the matching dies.

I made a nighttime snowy background, which goes perfectly with the tree and the fun sentiment.

Another Christmas card to add to my stash.  I'll miss having Christmas cards to make  [at least those I will mail out!] plus, it gives me a goal :).  [At least those I will mail out!]  😀

I'll be back next month for another The Project Bin Day.

CAS-ual Fridays Day

It's my day over on the CAS-ual Fridays Blog today, and I am also sharing my card here too.

I used the Mistletoe & Holly stamp set with matching dies.  Yep, they are on sale, and my code will give you an additional 15% off!  [code at bottom of this post]..

I used my Zigs to water color the image, and Versafine Black ink for my sentiment.  An easy card for creating, and mailing.  Since the majority of my cards get mailed, this is a good thing 😀

Have you checked out the Clearance section?  My code will work on those too!  I hope you check it out.

Just Us Girls Challenge #563 - Color Week

For this week's challenge, I went digging into some of my older stamps from Gina K.  I used Vogue Vases, illustrated by Teresa Momber.  [Gosh I am surprised it is still available]

A clean and very simple card.  Gets the point across though, and uses the colors.  Win-win.

Okay, your turn.  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge #563, and show us how you use the colors.

Seize the Birthday Challenge - Sparkle & Shine

The gallery is going to be pretty this challenge - all sparkly and shiny....😀

I used a retired image [sunflower], along with my new HB die.  [I still don't know who made this! Silly me.]

I used Perfect Pearls on my background [Simon Says Plank Background], and added a glitter circle with some pretty colored sequins around it.  Yep, all sparkly and shiny :)

That's it for me. Your turn, come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge, and show us your Sparkle & Shine birthday card.

STAMPlorations Inspirations #294

It's time for another STAMPlorations Inspiration day.  I had an epiphany today, after I made my card...  STAMPlorations has so many different fabulous products; chipboard, stickers, stencils, sequins - the list is crazy awesome endless.  So why I am not creating cards with these products!!! That said, I used one of my favorite [this time of year especially] Reindeer Dies.  I adore this die.

He makes such a stellar card!  [Designer paper and gems were in my stash]

My sentiment is from Yuletide Deer stamp set.

That's it for me today.  You can pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see what my Teamies have created.  Meanwhile, leave a comment for the monthly $15 prize.  Check out what happens when you used my code now! :)
