AAA Birthday Challenge #89 - Patterned Paper

It's always nice to use my patterned paper - as the rest of you [I'm sure] - I have a TON!

This paper is from 2015!  Left over paper pad from being on the Stamps of Life Design Team.  Wow even I was shocked it's been 11 years!

Good thing patterned paper doesn't go bad!

Your turn!  Come on over to the AAA Birthday Challenge and play along. As stated above, I am sure you too have some patterned paper!

AAA Cards Challenge #322 - 70's & 80's

When I think of this time era, I always think "groovy" flowers.  Since I had the perfect dies, I went with that.

I used the Simon Says Fab Flower, and a sentiment strip from STAMPlorations Floral Magic Stickers.

There are so many possibilities for this challenge.  I'm looking forward to the gallery.  Come on over to the AAA Cards Challenge #322, and play along!

CutCardStock Day

I am not sure why I am making Christmas cards, however, my stash is growing, so there is that.

Plus, I did get a beautiful new color in from CCS - Coral. [It's like a light peach color.] Whoa it's also the metallic shimmer line, and it is very pretty!  It also worked beautifully for a Christmas card.

There is a lot going on with this card; embossing, framed arch, vellum window with stamping behind it, lots of floral die cutting and layering.  Yep, this is a one-of-a-kind card.  I think it took me over an hour to create it!  Mass producing - not so much with this style of card.

I used the following card stocks; Thick Blank Lynx A2 Pre-Folded 120# Card Base, Metallic Coral, Canvas Textured Habanero Red, Translucent Clear [Vellum], Granny Smith Apple Green, and Gum Drop Green.  I am also going to be using the Red Envelopes for mailing, and the Return Address Labels.  CCS doesn't just carry card stock!

Just Us Girls Challenge #838 - Stencil Week

Another easy challenge!

I do love a matching stencil to the stamped image.  That said, I don't have many, and by the looks of this card, I need more practice. sigh.  I'm still going with it.  Not every card can be perfect, and the recipient probably won't even notice.

Your turn.  Come on over to JUGS #838 and show us your use of a stencil!  Easy peasy.

STAMPlorations Day - Perfect Pairs +

Today I am combining my set of Perfect Pairs; Blooms & Sunshine with other STAMPlorations products.

For my first card, I used the digital Sketched Blooms for the background.  I added the "splatter" from the Perfect Pairs Blooms & Sunshine as the center of the flowers.  [I like how it makes the coloring look artsy]  I added some texture with the Circles All Over Textured  Cover Plate.

Using some of the ephemera from the kit, I adhered the small tags together, and then dimension taped onto the background panel.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto vellum, and adhered that down.
Yeah, I am happy with this end result.

======================

For this second card, I used a panel from the Junk Journal Collage A2 Card Fronts, and stenciled on a design using the Delicate Links Stencil - I do love this effect!

I added on one of the flora ephemera [from the kit] and a sentiment from the Floral Magic Clear Stickers.  Yep, kind of happy with this card too :).

Don't forget, you can use my code and save 20% off the already crazy low prices!

See you next week~
