STAMPlorations Day - Focus on Stickers

For this STAMPlorations day, I am focusing on some really pretty, and fun stickers.  I don't use stickers a lot, but these made such a fabulous background I had to use them.

I used the very pretty, and delicate Botanicals Backgrounds Clear Stockers for the card panel background, and the Coffee Feel Good Clear Stickers.  I think the bolder font goes really well with the floral images.

And then, for a fun focal, I used the Doodled Coffee & Tea Colorables.  Yep, no stencil coloring here!  Colored, by hand, with my Copics.

The price point for these sets of stickers is AWESOME! Botanical Backgrounds is $7.00 and you get 16 stickers [4 of each design], and the Coffee Feel Good Stickers you get 32 [!] stickers, again, for $7.00! [8 sheets of 4 different sentiments.]  Absolute amazing price.  However, that said, you can save even more with my 20% off code, plus get a free set!  To make it easy for you, you can click HERE to see ALL the different sets of the stickers offered.

See you next week~

Memory Box Day

It's Christmas in July for Memory Box.  A hugh new release too!

I used the following products to make this lovely Christmas card; Cherry Red Card StockBrilliant Poinsettia Dies, and the Merry Christmas Die.

I am rather happy with this end result! Good thing my cards are one-of-kind - this took some time to create :).

I'll be back in a couple of weeks with more of the Memory Box July Christmas release~

CutCardStock Day

It's Saturday and that means it CCS day!  I used a die set I purchased from a garage sale, and I think it worked out beautifully!

I used the following colors of card stocks: White Heavy 130#Canvas Textured Surf, DCS Aqua, Lessebo Arctic Blue, Basis Aqua, and a touch of Yellow Jacket to make this card.

I do love me a floral card!

See you next Saturday with more colors~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #312 - Up

There are many ways to use this code word.

I went with butterflies.

I think I have had this set of Hero Arts stamps since 1998!  It was one of the first sets I purchased, and  it is a classic, that will never leave my stamp supplies!

Just Us Girls Challenge #831 - Word Week

I was going to create a musical card, but then I won these cuties from Not 2 Shabby, I had to use them instead.  I figure the ball image worked as play.

Aren't these images the sweetest!  They totally bring a smile to my face!  I used an older background technique, inking and water spritzing up an acrylic block, and laying it down on a card panel.  The Group of Cardmakers reminded me of this fun technique.  Thanks Ladies.

I think this background is rather perfect for these fun images - win-win in my book.

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #831 and show us your play card~

STAMPlorations Day Featuring Card Fronts

It's time again for another fun STAMPlorations Day.  As stated, for today, I am focusing on card fronts and other paper products offered by STAMPlorations.

Junk Journal College
[watermarked]

When I looked at the package of card fronts I saw ATC's.

I have a basic step system that I follow when making these fun tiny works of art.  I start with 31/2 x21/2 size card - in this case, I cut one of the panels in half, then sized accordingly.  I adhered down a strip of self made stamped tissue paper, and lightly brushed on some acrylic paint.  I then use a stencil with some modeling paste, placing either 3 times around the card, or just stencil over the entire card.  I used the Patches Stencil for both of these cards.

Once all is dried, I ink up the edges of both the panel, and the ephemera images, and start layering some images; Nostalgia #1 Ephemera Cut Outs, and a sentiment from the Nostalgia #1 Clear Stickers.  The last step is punching a hole, and adding some ribbon.  Following these basic steps is helpful for me to be happy with the end result.  Have you ever made ATC's?

Shery is offering a fabulous Card Fronts VIP Subscription [click for more info]. As usual, I recommend since her prices are amazing, AND, you get a store wide discount of 25% off as long as you are a subscriber.

I'll be back next Wednesday sharing more of the STAMPlortions products.
