STAMPlorations Inspirations #275

It's time for the weekly STAMPlorations Inspiration.

Today I used the Sweet Kindness stamp set, along with the Tags #1 Nesting Dies.

I colored the images with Copics.

Yes, flowers and cupcakes make a fun card!

Just Us Girls #543 - Word Week

You can never go wrong with a rainbow!

However, knowing who's Rainbow Die this is, or even the Friend Die is I have no idea.  I really do need to start marking my dies! Sheesh.

I do know the sentiment is from Simon Says Sentiment Strips All Things Happy. 😀 I do love these pre-printed sentiments!  Stamping straight has always been a challenge for me - even with my MISTI!

Okay, your turn!  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge and play along.  There are so many ways of using rainbow!

CAS-ual Fridays Day

It's my CAS-ual Fridays day today, and I am over on the CFS Blog also.  While I made one card, it just didn't pass muster [in my mind], so I went with my plan B, coffee.  I can never go wrong with a coffee card. 😀

For my card, I used the [I-Love-It] To Go Cup Fri-Die, along with a sentiment from Stay Strong.

I also added a few of the super fun chipboard hearts from the Coffee Chips Chipboard.  Since they matched my color combo, I used them as is.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot!  For my background panel, I used the By the Beans Stencil with some white ink to make the beans pop out.  [I do rather like that result].

That's it for my card today.  Remember, if you use my code below, you can save 15% off your purchase, and yep, that also includes the Sale Category

Seize the Birthday Challenge - Red, White, & Blue

I just happen to have a friend who's birthday is July 4th, so the colors and my card worked perfectly for both :).

I sponged on the red and blue Oxide ink [using tape for the nice clean lines], and used an image from an OOB company.

I think this regal eagle is appropriate for the masculine birthday card I needed.

Your turn.  Come on over to the Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While the Red, White & Blue is optional, being a birthday card is not.  Have fun.

STAMPlorations Inspirations #274

It's time for the STAMPlorations Inspirations day here on the ole blog.

Today I am using one of the many Cover Plate-Dies that are carried in the NEW store.  Yes, the new store is officially open!  You need to check it out!

I started with a water color background panel using some Brusho Powders.  These powders are pretty cool - you never know what you will end up with.  That can be fun [sometimes].

What makes the background pop [to me], is the beautiful white cover plate!  For my card I used the Bloomtangled Cover Plate 1.  I added on a double layered Awesome Word Die [sold out - can you see all Word Dies HERE].  The white embossed sentiment on the strip is from Leafy.

For more inspiration, pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see what my teamies have made.  Meanwhile, leave a comment for the randomly drawn, monthly,  $10 gift code.  Don't forget, you can use my code STAMPGIRLVICKID, for a 20% off discount too!

Just Us Girls Challenge #542 - Photo Inspiration Week

Out of all the photos we have had over the years, I think this is a beauty!  I am loving this challenge, and the gallery is going to be stunning!

I started by sponging on color with Distress Oxides [they blend beautifully!].  I grabbed some [retired] images from Gina K Designs stamps, and using Versafine Onyx Black ink, I stamped the images.

I also used a sentiment from the OOB Inspired By Stamping.  I must say, I love my card! :)

Your turn.  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge #542 and play along.  I can't wait to see the gallery this week!

Heartfelt Creations June Alumni Hop

It's time for the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop.  This month, I am going for another totally easy card to make!  By using the beautiful papers HFC offers, making a card like this is so perfect for those I need a card like right now card! 😀

See what I mean?  Just stunning!  I used some papers from the Blazing Poppy Collection.  I simply cut out the pre-printed designer square, and mounted it on a card base.  Seriously, can it get any easier?!

I added a sentiment from the For My Friend Sentiments.

Just to add some depth, I did go one step further by cutting the 2nd image [yes, there are more then 1 cut outs for the images in the paper pads] and layering the back with about 3 layers of scrap card stock.  [Yes, you could use foam tape, and/or fun foam.  I figure scraps are much cheaper.]

Okay, that's it for me.  Don't forget to leave a comment for the randomly drawn $25 gift certificate to Heartfelt Creations.  Below are the participating Designers to continue on with the hop.  Have fun!

CAS-ual Fridays Day

Today I am working with the Blossom Bubble Stencil from CAS-ual Fridays.

I used a few Distress inks for my sponging of the image, and used the Friend Fri-Die, [just FYI this is on sale for $1.99 (!) and you can use my 15% off code- that's $1.69 folks!] along with a sentiment from the Floating stamp set.
Yep, I am happy with this card!  I got a bonus from it too.  When I went to clean the stencil [spraying with water] I thought, hmm, I can get another card panel from this!

I almost like this better then the original card! :)  [It's waiting to be made into a card]. I really like the effect of the negative stenciling.  Sometimes good surprises happen~~

That's it for me today.  Remember, if you use my code below, you can save an additional 15% off your purchase.  Michele has lowered the Sale Category to pennies (well really cheap anyway), and yes, my code works on those prices too!  I just love a great sale.
