Addicted to CAS Challenge #312 - Up

There are many ways to use this code word.

I went with butterflies.

I think I have had this set of Hero Arts stamps since 1998!  It was one of the first sets I purchased, and  it is a classic, that will never leave my stamp supplies!

Your turn!  Come on over to ATCAS #312 and show us your up card~

The Male Room Challenge #193 - Anything Goes

Anything Goes is a great challenge for this busy month!  I needed a last minute Christmas card, so I'm going with that.

The snowflake is an older die from Simon Says, and the sentiment is an older Hero Arts sentiment that I embossed with gold.  I so adore the font of this sentiment.

That's it for me.  Your turn.  You have all month to join in over at The Male Room Challenge #193.

Simon Says Monday

Today I am joining in over at the Simon Says Monday Challenge; Not a Card. Yep, I'm all in for that!

I started with a basic tag using some older images I found in my cupboard.

Seriously basic!  That said, it will fit into the inside of a Christmas card, and the recipient gets a bookmark!  I love including small gifts inside my cards. 😀

Then, I was perusing Pinterest, I came across a GREAT money holder!  Oh it totally spoke my name.

Using Stamps of Life, [retired] Coffee 4 Two, I made my version.

Fun, right?  I love finding inspiration on Pinterest!

I'm thinking this will be a perfect gift for my mailman.  (I would say Amazon Driver, but I never seem to get the same one.)

Here are my non-cards together:

Thanks Simon Says - super fun challenge!

Addicted to CAS Challenge #255 - Rain

I have to chuckle, I am FINALLY using this killer stamp, Local King Rubber Stamp; Dew.  [I have it for at least 3 years!]  I love the effect of rain drops.  Perfect for this challenge.

At one point in time, I actually had a stamp that said dance in the rain - sheesh one of the sets I moved on - silly me.  That said, the computer worked for it too.

The top sentiment is from Hero Arts; Live Life.

Your turn!  Come on over to Addicted to CAS and play along.

The Male Room Challenge #184 - Food/Drink

Well of course I made a coffee card!

A background stamp of Hero Arts, a crimper strip for texture, and retired die from CAS-ual Fridays.

Add in some stripes and this card is complete!

Happy Little Stampers December Stencil Challenge

This is the very last HLS Stencil Challenge.

I started with my partial stenciled background, and then shifted the stencil and inked on a darker green.  Yeah, didn't quite get the effect I wanted.  This looks like the stencil shifted accidentally. Sheesh.  I'm going with it anyway.

The sentiment is from an older Hero Arts Stamp Set, Stamp & Cut Holiday Tree. [I was surprised this is still available - through Wal Mart no less!]  I glued on a few die cut foliage and stashed sequins, and this card is done.

Your turn!  We hope you join in this last challenge of HLS Stencil.  I'm going to miss creating for this team.

Seize the Birthday Challenge - Neutral Colors

I do love this challenge!  While most of the time I use bright colors, I also really enjoy using neutrals!

I also love me a graphic card.  This challenge was a total win for me.

The sentiment is from a retired Hero Arts, Many Birthday Messages.

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While using neutral colors is an option, being a birthday card is not.

The Male Room Challenge #180 - Feathers

I have a go-to from Hero Arts, Feathers [retired] that I use for most of feather challenges.  I do love this set.

My DH needed a thank you card, so this challenge worked perfectly!  I like the detailed feather on the black, with the pop of color in the thanks. [stashed inked panel used]

DH was happy with this card, so that's a success for me.

Addicted to CAS Challenge #244 - Leaves

Sadly, challenges are beginning to reflect the coming Fall.  I'M SILL IN SUMMER MODE! ;)  THat said, I'll be good...;)

I used a retired Birch Press Die from my "organizational find" dies, and another really old Hero Arts WOOD stamp, using the vellum for this delicate leaf.

My hb is computer generated.

Your turn!  Come on over to Addicted to CAS Challenge # 244 and play along!  It's starting to look a lot like Fall~

Seize the Birthday Challenge - Circles

So many ways for this challenge!  I went geometrical.  Definitely one of my favorite styles of card.

I got this inspiration from Pinterest.  I love how it turned out.

The sentiment is from a Hero Arts retired sentiment set.

Your turn - come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While circles are an option, being a birthday card is not.

Just Us Girls Challenge #683 - Word Week

I love this word!  Talk about so.many.avenues to create!  I instantly thought of repetitive - I enjoy this look on cards.

I did search for whose Hello die this is.... no luck.  [I'm assuming it's retired like the majority of my products.]  The flower is also retired from Hero Arts Delicate Blossoms.I’m entering this into the Stay Crafty with a Blog Named Hero Challenge; sentimental journey.

S
Retired products or not, I love how this card came together!

Your turn.  Come on over and join us over at JUGS #683.  I sure hope you play along!

Just Us Girls Challenge #668 - CAS Week

I do love "coloring" on a CAS card -- it always pops beautifully against all the background white.

See what I mean?  I just love the vividness of the color against the white!  This is one of the main reasons I love the CAS style!

I used the retired, Hero Arts Antique Flowers & Butterflies, a cloud stencil from MFT, and a computer generated sentiment.  Easy peasy, with a fabulous end result!
