Just Us Girls Challenge #763 - Mood Board Week

I'm definitely loving this photo - all those stripes, dots, bright colors - yes please!

A cheerful birthday card with a little attached tag gift.  These type of birthday cards work really well for me.  The recipients enjoy them too.

The tag die cut is from Papertrey Ink [retired], along with the candles cut separately from the Cover Plate Birthday Die.  The fun Digi Cupcake is from STAMPlorations. [I love this digi! it's sizable!]

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #763, and show us you are inspired by the mood board!

AAA Birthday Challenge #69 - Winter Birthday

Happy 2025!  [It sounds so futuristic, doesn't it?]

This was a fun challenge for me.  I love that I got to use my moon stencil!

I won a set of inks from Altenew - the perfect color combo for my Winter birthday card!

My sentiment is an older HB from PTI.

Your turn!  You have all month to join in over at AAA Birthday.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Winter birthday card gallery.

Feedly Comes Through

I popped on over to my Feedly account where I have a list of challenge blogs that I like.  That said, my card is created from the following challenges; Tuesday Morning Sketches #761, Color Hues #89; sage and pink, and CAS on Sunday #286 - Nature.

Here is the sketch - [I did leave off the button feature]

Here are the colors;

Ardyth is also using Instagram #shopyourcrafstashchallengesummer2024 for using what you have.  I'm going to really try and use my [very] unused/old stamps. [I have a tendency to use dies ALOT]  It's rather sad I'm not using the stamps.  I bought them for a reason, I liked them!  I also don't think images go out of style.  Everything else might be a trend, but not stamps [IMO].  All that said, I used 3 PTI sets - Polka Dots Basics II, Flower Fusion #2, and Birthday Bash Sentiments.  Classics!  They made for a fun, simple card - that I am very happy with 😀

Thanks Challenges - you all came together splendidly!

Group of 7

I got an email from the Group of 7.  They are a group of stampers who use different techniques, and ask us to join in.  Well, this month is all about alcohol inks and gilding flakes.  I have had these lovely gold flakes for years.  It was time to have some fun!

I started with making an alcohol inked panel and added some some flakes.  I do love the end result of this technique.  It just steps up your card. I cut the panel with a diamond shaped cover plate die, and adhered the cuts onto my card base.

To finish off my card, I added a strip of gold glitter tape, and a birthday sentiment.

The advantage of using a cover plate is you can get 2 cards!  That works for me.

I used [the retired] PTI's birthday die on some vellum, and this 2nd card is complete.

Thanks Group of 7 - I had so much fun with this technique.

The Male Room Challenge #179

t

It' s time again for The Male Room Challenge.  This month all all about Get Well Soon.  I like this - I never have this type of card when I need one - now I do. :)

I used the super fun [retired] PTI's Stuck on You.  Do you remember the days when these sets were ONLY $5.00!  Boy, I really miss those days....

I do love this bandaid die - too fun.  Using masculine colors - this card works for this challenge.

Okay, your turn.  You have all month to play along.  Just upload your card over at The Male Room.

A Few Challenges

I saw a couple of new-to-me challenges and decided to join in. The first one is Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #423. [I was inspired by the colors from the inspiration board]. I also used the MFT Sketch Challenge #664. [I flipped it]  Edited: bummer I missed the Hand Stamped 😏

I used my new fun Simon Says Stamp Bountiful Sunflower Blossom Wafer Die.  I am in heaven with this fun one.

I used the Cheery Lynn Designs Whimsical You are Awesome Die.  [Couldn't find a link sorry]

----------------------------------------------------------

This next card is based on a sketch I came across.  The challenge is over on Facebook, and on a Stampin Up page.  I'm not a member [of the page], but I'm still using the sketch. 😉

I loved the paint colors that I used on these stashed panels, so I cut the background and the tag out of them.

Many layers, and I love this card!  The sentiment is from PTI's [retired] Birthday Bash Sentiments.
That's it for me today -- I had fun.  Now on to real life.....

Seize the Birthday Challenge #264 - Number

I enjoy personalizing birthday cards.  I usually do this for my nieces and nephews, and then for milestone birthdays for adults too.  That said, I love using numbers ;)

I used PTI Numbers - love the larger size of these! My star die is unbranded [any idea?  let me know]

Lastly, the sentiment is from Simon Says Happy.

Okay, your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along!  While using a number is optional, being a birthday card is not.

More Challenges

I found a challenge over at Paper Playful [a great tool for a list of challenges-by-day] that inspired me;  Use Your Stuff #486 - Flowers.

I grabbed out my Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower and matching die [no longer available], and went to work.  Did you know that Heartfelt Creations is closing down? They are currently running a close-out sale, 50% off 5 - 60% off 10 - 70% off 15. Another one bites the dust....so sad.

I used the HFC Classic Leaf Dies for my leaves.

The HB is from retired PTI Birthday Bash Sentiments.  When I use HFC supplies, I always make a more elaborate card.  That said, I am also entering this into the Wednesday Simon Says; Lots of Layers

Thanks Challenges!  Fun times!

A Few Challenges

I am so excited!  I found a different ATC challenge!  My old one went de-funked -  not enough players.  Anyway, this new one ATC Around the World #102, is in/by the sea.  Well I'm all in for that theme! {Winner Top 3!}

I used my crimper for a textured background, and a really old Spellbinders die with 4 different shells, and then another die set with sea creatures.  I have used both these dies a lot over the years.  I just adore the textured images.

The sentiments are from Inspired By Stamping, an OOB company.  I am also entering these into the Simon Says Monday Challenge - Not a Card.

Aren't these just fun!  I am quite happy with the end results.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went on to join in over at the Paper Players #643 - Masculine Card. Again, right up my alley! {I got a Shout Out}

I was inspired by the lower left corner photo - the colors.

The other day I was going through some stamps and came across this fabulous HB from PTI.  [I really do need to get my inventory system completed.  It's just so o...v...e..r...w..h..e..l..m..i...n...g.]  Yep, this card scream masculine to me!

Thanks Challenges-- I had a great time creating!

AAA Birthday Challenge #47 - Dots & Stripes

I do adore this combo! [It was my choice this time 😜]

I started with a [retired] MFT cover plate for the stripes, and I went really subtle with the dots -- that's the inlaid cuts I put in.

I used PTI's Birthday Wishes, and some more [retired] MFT's die-namics for the balloons.

I had fun making this card.  The end result is a lot busy for me, but it works.

Your turn!  I can't wait to see how you use dots and stripes for your birthday card!  You can upload your card over at the AAA Birthday Challenge #47.

SCS CAS 726

Last pm, the CAS Challenge was posted.  I do love it when the challenges post early!  That is something I remember about them, the earlier you get your card posted, the more comments you get.  I like that.

For the CAS726 - show a number on your card.  Well, I can do that!  As I watched my husband eating ice cream, this card came to mind for his birthday!

I used MFT Ice Cream Cone Dies, and PTI Numbers for this card.  It was an easy one to make for sure!

I made it a mini slimline so the cones fit evenly.  A fun card for a great challenge~

Such Fun Challenges

I'm joining in a few challenges again today.  I'm having so much fun joining in!  It's been awhile since I made it a habit to play in challenges.

I'm starting with CAS on Sunday or CAS on Friday #230.  I'm not really sure of the name, but I got the correct #, and Numbers is the challenge.  I also am entering Krafty Chicks #609 - Any occasion.

I needed a fun card for my great nephew, so numbers was the perfect challenge.  I used the fun MFT Emmit Numbers, along with PTI By the Numbers Dies [for the 5].

The fun fonted HB is from Ranger Letter It Birthday.  Rather a fun CAS card I think.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I went on to join in the MFT Color Challenge #188, using the sketch from Just Add Ink #601.

I used the layered flowers from Altenew Beautiful Day.  Worked perfectly for using the different colors, and the sketch.

I used a sentiment from Simon Says Sentiment Strips.  [I do adore these strips!]

Good times!  Thanks Challenges~
