I'm the Hostess for this challenge.  If you know me at all, I love to keep things simple.  Having a code word of Birthday is very simple to me. 😉

What better way then using a min slimline to get the point across!  I used the Kat's Scrappiness Upper Condensed Alphas for this fun layout. [I would of linked the Alphas, but Kat had them on sale for dirt cheap, and they are sold out]

Addicted to CAS Challenge #306 - Postage

For this challenge I went literal by using a postage stamp.

I also used a postage die for cutting out the panel.  I used a Spellbinders Die for the fun flower, and my "stamp" is from an Elizabeth Craft Designs Paper Pad.

I didn't add a sentiment [yet] as I don't know what I will be using this one for.

With my family card, I am recognizing my BBF sister!  We might have had our struggles growing up, but in adulthood she is my best friend!  I can't be more thankful 💜

This has many possibilities!

I went with raining. Well, the umbrella gives off the idea of rain. I love that the sentiment works well for a get well card too, or even a "bad times" card.

I sketchy colored the image with my Sharpies - I kinda of like the artsy feel of this one.

I have had this French fry die for at least 3 years and yep, never used it.  I thought this was the perfect die for this challenge.  Easy to keep the card CAS when you only use 1 item, AND, it's such a fun item!

This ornament works beautifully for a last minute CAS card!  Cutting it out in gold foil paper makes it so pretty!

I made an inked panel and added some gold metallic foil on to it.  I love this look!  I used a leaf die and cut out the image from the panel.

Many ways to interpret this! 😀

Since I am deep into the Christmas mode, I went with a sweet Christmas treat card.

I went a digging and found a fun set from Avery Elle [2016!].  The tiny muffin is adorable.

It's good thing when I get to use my [really] old stamps!

I went a searchin for the actual word, and found a stamp set from 2015!  

The company is OOB [out of business] but stamps never go away...unless you move them on.  The word stamp worked perfectly for this challenge.

I'm not sure where the ugly sweater came to be.  That said, I'm glad this challenge just says sweater.

I've had this sweater die for 2 years and have never used it. [No surprise there]. It worked well for a textured looking sweater, and add a little Halloween sentiment.  It's a CAS card for sure!
