Instagram July Pattered Paper Party Hop

This month's theme - Christmas

Because of the layout I used, I was able to get a 2fer card!  I like that for Christmas cards.

I love this fun candy striped paper!

And, here is the 2nd card I was able to create.  Such a win when that happens!

These cards are really very basic, and no need to explain what I did to create them.  Want to see more fun patterned paper cards?  You can click HERE to check it out.

Instagram June Pattern Paper Party Hop

This month is about chevrons.  I'm good with that.

I found this chevron paper in my drawer of LOTS of dp!  I am loving the neutral color too. Throw on a couple of die cut circles, a sentiment, a fun sentiment, and gems.

I am happy with this card!

Instagram May Patterned Paper Party Hop

I'm really enjoying playing along with these hops.  I was sad to miss a couple of them [last month].  That said, I'm playing in today's Patterned Paper Party Hop.  The side theme; distress.

I used one of the retired Elizabeth Craft Designer Paper Pads.  I am loving the mix of colors in this pad.
Add a geometric die, and yep, I'm loving this card.

As you can see I distressed the edges of both the panel, and the card base.

Do you have a lot of DP hanging around?  Want to see more ways to use it?  Pop on over to the Patterned Paper Party Hop and check out the designers creations in the hop HERE.

March Instagram Patterned Paper Party Hop

This hop is fun to join into - I have so.much.patterned.paper it's ridiculous!  [I am sure there are a lot of you that can relate too.]  I'm good with using it up.

The theme this month is Easter. I grabbed some "Easter" colors that contrasted, and just made some panels.  Once I decided on the layout, this fun card came together rather quickly.

I like my floating bunny too. 😉

February Instagram Patterned Paper Party Hop

This month has a theme of pink & red

I finally used this fun guy from Woodware's 3 Gnomes stamp set.  I really enjoy gnomes I just don't use them often.  They really are fun.  The best part?  They are easy to color too 😄

Mix him with [my favorite] dots and stripes papers, and this card is on my approved list!

Instagram Patterned Paper Party

It's time for another Instagram Hop.  This time it's all about designer paper that we ALL have a lot of!  That is why I joined in this hop.  Using this paper totally works for me

I have had this adorable guy for years, and I [to be honest] don't think I have ever used him. (sigh). He worked perfectly for the "chilly" theme of this month's hop.  I even paper pieced his sweater 😀

Instagram Patterned Paper Party Hop

It's another fun time over on Instagram - all about patterned paper.  I found a pile of 6x6 Christmas papers in my stash, and yep, I used some of them.

I even found some colored vellum!  I just laugh at how product gets "put away" - and in my case - totally forgotten about.  [I am sure I am not the only one that happens to.]  It is fun to "find it" again, and even use it!  Now, there's a win.

I also used an older MFT sentiment.

Instagram Patterned Paper Party Hop

These hops are quite the experience.  I love getting to see all the fun cards of the participants, plus, it uses up some of my patterned paper!  For today's card, I have had this paper for at least 10 years.  It just never seemed to come together for me as far as making a card.  I made myself do that today!

Lots of gold - lots of pattern - lots of layers.

I do have to say, I'm still questioning this card.  It's [too] very busy for me.  I'm going with it, but yeah, not my favorite I must say.  Apparently, I am still struggling with this paper! 😏

Instagram October Patterned Paper Party

I don't know who started these Insta Hops, but they are really fun!  You get to see lots of different styles of projects, and you actually can increase some Followers [if you are a participant].  This month's theme is Halloween.

I used a piece of DP from my Dare 2B Artzy stash, along with some stashed printed digital paper from Gecko Gals.  [They offer free digis every month]. The butterfly is also from Gecko Gals.

This is like a semi Halloween card - the colors reminded me of Halloween, the sentiment qualifies it 😀

Okay, want to see more fun projects/cards using designer paper?  You can join the hop HERE.  I'm off to check it out myself!

Patterned Paper Party on Instagram

It's the 20th and that means its time for the fun Patterned Paper Party Hop over on Instagram!  There are many players in this hop, and it is fun to see how everyone else uses their patterned paper.  I went kind of subtle with just the candy canes, but I still used it :)

There is a lot going on with this card - it started by making the fish tail tags.  Once I got them done I thought about how to put them on a card to use them as a gift.  Grabbing some removable tape, these are now removable, and useable!  They also are like a faux banner on the card.

Once the tags are removed, I had stenciled, gessoed, and added texture to the background so it would still look like a card.  [Did I take a photo?  Of course not - sheesh.]  Now there is a win.

We hope you come on over to Instagram and hop the hop.  You can see it HERE.  There will be lots of eye candy :)

Instagram Hop - Patterned Paper

Sometimes, patterned paper just makes the card!  I used some more of my Heartfelt Creations Papers - I just adore how pretty the image is, and the pretty background paper too!

All I needed to do was add some gems, and a sentiment.  Can you say 10 minute card?  Yep.

You can join in the Patterned Paper Hop HERE.  It's fun to see what the many participants create!
