October Instagram Gorgeous Gift Tag Hop

Whoa, by the looks of it, I haven't joined in this hop for a couple of months! [Time....flies]. I had to join in this month - the theme is circles.  I like circles :)

I inked up a panel, and cut out 3 round shapes.  The tree is from somewhere - I've had it for years!  the ghost and sentiment are from the newest Memory Box Release; Holiday Harmony; Pumpkin Kisses stamp set with dies.

I like the ghost in vellum - it makes him see through. :)

You can see the rest of the hop HERE.

Memory Box Day

It's time for another memory Box day here on my blog.  Today I am using a few products from the new Holiday Harmony Release.

There are some super fun images in this release!  I used the following; Harvest Basket, Ollie Bird, and a stamp set, Christmas Wonders [with dies].  I also used the Evergreen Holly Bundle from the Christmas Charm Release.

I also used the card stocks from the Blush 6x6 Solid Core Pack, and the Greenery 6x6 Solid Core Pack. I have to say, I am happy with this end result.

See you next week with more Memory Box~

CutCardStock Day

Well, Autumn is officially here and that means, all the pretty colors start showing up!

I figured I would start here on my blog since my town doesn't get all the pretty colors.  I used the Memory Box Evergreen Tree Stand, and also a die from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Forest Friends and Frame set.

I used the following colors to create this card; Classic Crest 130# for the card base, Astrobright Black, Dolphine Gray, Astrobright Solar Yellow, and Textured Adobo Orange for everything else.

Again, this reminds me of our Yellowstone trip!

See you next week~

Just Us Girls Challenge #843 - Die Week

Yeah, so I might have mentioned [over the years] that I pretty much do not like Halloween.  That said, when there is a challenge... well, I gotta do it!  After searching, I finally found a Halloween stamp set; Memory Box Pumpkin Kisses. [kind of an adorable set for sure!]

Even though this is a totally CAS card, that ghost is too fun!

=============

Now, the original post... Below is the card I made first, along with the verbiage.

Surprisingly enough, this card totally made me smile!  That little mummy is beyond fun.  In all disclosure, these were a freebie digital set I got last year.  I do not have ANY dies for Halloween, so, a hand cut is going to have to work for this challenge.

Where did I find the Halloween set?  In my new stack of goodies from Memory Box!  I literally just went through the products after I made this post.  Hence, there being 2 cards - 1 correct, 1 improvised.

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #843 and play along.

AAA Birthday Challenge #90 - Big & Bold

I went with a different approach for this challenge.  Self made.  When I searched big and bold in Pinterest, I got some graphic images.  Well, I can do that!

Once I had drawn and colored with Copics, I went to my stash and found some [so old] Altenew stamps, which worked perfectly!  I also was happy with the big celebrate, also Altenew.

Between the graphics, the bold colors, and the big celebrate, I think I nailed this challenge.

Your turn!  Come on over to AAA Birthday #90 and show us your big and bold birthday card~

STAMPlorations Day - Retro Gratitude Cuts

Today I am featuring another new item over at the STAMPlorations store; Retro Gratitude Cuts.  A fun product, for a fun sentiment!

For this first card, I started with the Broken Glass Stencil, inked it up, and then ran it through my embossing machine with the card base!  It gave a wonderful, subtle background, along with a textured  letterpress effect. (I'm kinda of loving this result.)  Using a heart die [from my stash] I inked that same stencil the "normal" way using darker ink.

Once I adhered the heart onto the base, I added on the Retro Gratitude Cut with dimension tape.

======================

For this second card, I used the Wonky Stitched Grid Texture Cover Plate, for texture on my card base.  [I adore texture cover plates!!]

I cut down one of the Autumn Card Fronts, adhered it onto the card base using dimension tape, and then added the Retro Gratitude Cut.

That's it for today.  I'll be back next Tuesday featuring the STAMPcuts Retro Christmas.

National Coffee Day

For my Nat'l Coffee Day card today, I am using STAMPlorations products [one of the sponsors]; The Coffee House Collage Paper [again], along with the Retro Coffee Signs ATC, and a sentiment from the Coffee & Mondays Stamp Set.

I just adore these retro ATC's!  Just fun.  Did you know that STAMPlorations offers an ATC Subscription?  It's an awesome price point!

Sheri is offering 2 - $10 prize codes to the two randomly drawn commenters from the STAMPlorations Blog and the Design Team Member's blogs. [You can get those over on the STAMP blog]

You can use my code too!

The main hop is over on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog. Pop on over and see how the hop works, and how you can maybe win some prizes~

September Instagram Embossing Folder Hop

Due to traveling, I wasn't able to join in last month's hop, but I'm back in the swing for this month!

The theme this month is Autumn.  I grabbed a card panel and embossing folder and went to town!

I randomly inked up the card panel before embossing.  Once embossed, I swiped inked over the raised portions for some more  depth.  Using another inked card panel, I cut out the SS Abundant Leaves Wafer Dies, and individually inked the parts of the SS Layered Berry Bird.  Once I adhered the bird together, I adhered all to my embossed inked panel with some glue, and some dimension tape.

Lastly, I added a foiled sentiment, and glued the completed panel to a card base.  Yep, I am quite smitten with this end result!  You can see the entire hop over on Instagram HERE.

AAA Cards Challenge #324 - Follow My Lead

This challenge we are following Helen:

I needed 1 Halloween card [for my grandson].  This is my least favorite "holiday", but, it is my DIL's favorite, which in turn, will probably be my grandson's too.  Therefore, the card.

Since ghosts are suppose to be "see-thru", I didn't bother coloring him.  Works for me.

Your turn!  How does Helen's card inspired you?  Come on over to AAA Card Challenge #324 and play along.

CutCardStock Day

Have I mentioned how much I am enjoying designing for this company? [Yes, yes I have, I know 😉] I love the card stock they carry, and their prices are just amazing!

For my card today I used the following card stocks: Textured Humming Bird Teal for the card base, Textured Caribbean Blue, Red Pepper, Textured Scottish Highlands Green, and lastly, Solar Yellow.

I just adore the texture on these papers!  I scored a few lines on the left of the card base, adhered a doily die cut, added a Spellbinders floral image, and grabbed a foiled sentiment from my stash to finish off my card.

Yep, I'm happy!

See you next month~
