July Gorgeous Gift Tag Instagram Hop

I often wonder when this Christmas in July started.  Has it always been around or was it created by retailers?  Anyone know?  Meanwhile, let's get to my Christmas tag!

I used an ornament die and built from that.  This actually is pretty detailed, and a little time consuming to create.  I won't be making a set of these, just sayin.

Instagram June Tag Hop - Masculine

I do love joining in these Instagram Hops.  What is even better is when you actually get to use the project you made!  

This tag is for my son.  He is going into the Air Force as an Officer!   

I used the Curly Labels Tag from STAMPlorations, along with a tiny die strip of dots and x's. I grabbed a stashed, foiled sentiment which is perfect!

Instagram May Tag Hop

It's time for the Instagram Tag Hop!

Sometimes I use tag as little gifts inside my mailed cards.  Otherwise, they get put into a storage box for future use.  I do like making tags so there's the win for me.

Between paper and stamping, I just kept adding layers until I was happy with this.  I used some pre-made flowers from my stash.  Remember that trend?  Many years ago - didn't last long - I have MANY pre-made flowers.... I'm happy to use some!

Tag Instagram Hop

There are so many of these different types of hops over on Instagram.  That said, I have limited my participation to 4. [Even that's a lot, but they really are fun!]. So let's get to today's tag for this hop.  The theme this month is icy.

I am so happy with this tag! I did some background embossing [with snowflakes], and then cut some snowflakes for another layer.

Adding on a fun sentiment, and this beauty is done.  Success 😃

Instagram Tag Hop

I have said this [probably every time I do a post for those Instagram hops] but I am having so much fun with these hops!  It takes me out of my DT work, and sometimes even stretches me to go outside my regular type cards. Total win!

For this month, I made some actual gift tags.  They will look pretty on my white bags I use for gifts.

I am very happy with these fun, bright tags.

October Instagram Tag Hop

It's time for the monthly tag hop over on Instagram.  I'm not sure who started the idea of players hops, but they really are fun!  This particular one has a lot of players.  That said, I enjoy hopping through to see the fun tags and get lots of inspiration!

The theme this month is Halloween.  I actually made my tag with that theme.  Oh yay me.

I totally love how this turned out! I always enjoy using my moon stencil - it worked perfectly for a glowing Halloween night.  

I'm thinking I will give this to my d-i-l -- She loves Halloween.

Instagram September Tag Hop

It's time again for the Instagram Tag Hop.  I didn't go with the suggested theme, Fall, as I am gearing up for Christmas.  [It is around the corner!]

A few years back, a customer gave me a [lot] of Christmas stickers.  When going through my Christmas products, I came across these.  Well!  How perfect was that timing!  These were very easy to create, and the end result is a win in my book.

I am planning on making a few more of these and I will be using them on my gifts.

Instagram Hop - Gorgeous Gift Tags

 

 It's the 5th, and that means it's Instagram Hop for the Gorgeous Gift Tags.  For my tag today, I will be using this one as a luggage tag.  Being that I have a black suitcase, [and apparently 90% of travelers do], this helps me to identify my bag so.much.easier.!

I used Tim Holtz The Journey stamp set to create this tag.  Perfect for my use.

I also use a tag die from Spellbinders that is older then dirt [!], but still cuts beautifully.

Instagram Hop - Gorgeous Gift Tags

 

It's the 5th of the month [already!] and that means its time for the fun IG Hop of Gorgeous Gift Tags.  There was an option of using stencils, I passed.  I had this [so much fun] stamp set from Colorado Craft Company, Big & Bold Citrus Berry Cupcake [and matching dies] sitting on my desk, and it screamed at me - "Hang me from a gift bag, as a tag"!  Well, I did just that!

I wanted a fun, bright colored cupcake that would stand out against my white gift bag.  Goal accomplished!

June Instagram Tag Hop

Hi All - hey it's time for the Instagram Tag Hop.  The 5th of every month a group of us get together over on Instagram and hop.  I'm still trying to figure this all out.  [Instagram has become a real challenge for me.]

Meanwhile, I am also creating a post on my blog in case you don't do Instagram.

The optional theme is flowers.  Since I have [so many] paper flowers from the trend [many years ago] I figured I would use some of them on my tag.  I also did some embossing, and ink swiping to add some interest.  Oh yes, actual sewing too.  Pretty basic, but it will work for a small gift for someone 😀
