It's Been a Minute

It's been a minute since I joined in at any challenge.  That said, Simon Says Monday and Wednesday challenges are all about tags.  I am all in for that!

The Wednesday Challenge [from last week] is also using Tim Holtz products.  Yep, I did that!

I started with a panel and masked off the moon and blended on 5 different Distress Inks.  Going through my stamps, I pulled out a couple of botanical images, stamped those, and lastly, stamped the bird.

After adding white splatters [acrylic paint mixed with water], I used the Tim Holtz Alterations Tag & Bookplate Die for cutting out the tag shape. [No surprise that this die is no longer available. You can get a similar set HERE] I manually cut the black shadow layer, and ran a silver pen for further outlining.  Yep, I'm happy with this end result.

Thanks Challenges - I had fun!

Seize the Birthday Challenge

This challenge is a fun one --  pop of red

I do adore challenges with a pop of color.  It makes it fun to make, and to see the gallery!

I stamped the images, and then sponged around to add a highlighted area.  I love my red bird. :)

I used a free stamp set from OnlyOneLifeCreations on Etsy.  While there are none left, the Ranger Letter It Birthday stamp set is.  [I love the prices on this site!]

Okay, your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along!  Remember red is an option, being a birthday card is not.

A Colorful CAS

I took some time to play in a couple of challenges today; Clean and Simple Stamping; a sketch and Dynamic Duos; Pacific Point and Black, and Paper Players CAS Masculine.

I used my fun Fiskers Sentiment stamps. My border is Inspired By Stamping, Washi Tape.

Loved the sketch, loved the colors!  Thanks Teams for the inspiration~

For Your Inspiration #39

Gosh it seems like it has been forever since the last FYI challenge.  This week is another stunning photo

All kinds of interesting items/colors to pick up on.  Bet you see what I noticed;

My die is from Cherry Lynn.  Love this die.  A frame from Spellbinders Label 16, and my sentiment is from Fiskars, a set I got from Mike's.

Do you like the photo?  Come on over to For Your Inspiration and play.  We had a fabulous turnout last challenge -- let's keep it going!
