March Instagram Patterned Paper Party Hop

This hop is fun to join into - I have so.much.patterned.paper it's ridiculous!  [I am sure there are a lot of you that can relate too.]  I'm good with using it up.

The theme this month is Easter. I grabbed some "Easter" colors that contrasted, and just made some panels.  Once I decided on the layout, this fun card came together rather quickly.

I like my floating bunny too. 😉

Just Us girls Challenge #811- Mood Board Week

This is a fun pink mood board!

Typically for me, I have a tendency to faux re-create the board.  This worked pretty good  as I had some similar images - window, coffee cup, branch. I did have fun making this.

Inspired By Challenge

I saw a post that mentioned the Inspired By Challenge #366; Bright Christmas.  So perfect as I have been wanting to use my Gina K Master 14 die with a matching stencil.

I started with a cloud stencil from MFT and used really bright colors!  I grabbed a few of my Christmas images from different [company's] sets, and stamped them on.    

I wanted a little contrast so I picked this adorable snowman and used the red for the contrast, and popped him up with some dimensional tape.  Yep, I can say, I am loving this fun card!

The Male Room Challenge #195 - Monochrome

This challenge works well for a masculine card - especially if the right color is chosen.

 

I opened my card stock drawer to look for a color that would work, but also, one I haven't used in long time. I went with a sand color. 

To make this card a little more interesting, I made it a shaker card too.

 I'm happy with this one!  Masculine with some fun.  Yep, that works!

CutCardStock Day

Yay, it's Saturday again, so you know what that means?  Yep, CCS Day!

I went with a geometrical card.  I do love them, and they work perfectly for a masculine card [which I need].

Because of the big sentiment, [it did cover a lot of the fun shapes], you don't get the full geometrical feel.  However, I still like it.  Okay, here are the colors that I used;

Bright White 130#

Lessbo Amazon Dark Teal

Dolphin Gray

Textured Indio Blue 

Black

The added gems are from my stash, and they helped to balance out the card.

Just Us Girls Challenge #744 - Word Week

When I saw this word, I instantly thought of CAS-ual Fridays.  Michele made quite a few cancer sets [she herself is a survivor] so I knew I would find the word hope in at least one of them.  Well, I totally forgot about the Hope Die!  Perfect.

It worked awesomely with this shaker card, and the bow die too for that matter.

The Male Room Challenge #188 - Animals

The gallery should be fun this challenge.  So many possibilities!!

I'm thinking I really like the current trend of NO coloring.  Yep, right up my alley ;).

I used a new texture plate [Amazon] that I really love!  I went on to cut out 3 smaller rectangles [from a really old Spellbinders die set], and sponged on ink for a colorful background.  This lets my un-colored images [CAS-ual Fridays Little Huggables] pop a little more. 

That super fun sentiment is also CAS-ual Fridays, Bold Wishes.  It really is a shame how many stamp companies have gone out of business.  That said, I'm glad I still have the products!

Addicted to CAS #261 - Critter

I instantly thought of this retired fun image from the [OOB] CAS-ual Fridays.  I love this set.

I used some [untouched forever!] Brusho Powders.  I love spraying the water on these powders and watching the magic happen.  I stamped and cut out the racoon critter, and added a sentiment.

Yep, covers critter, and being CAS.

Happy New Year

I got an email from Inkspirational #305 - a Mood Board.  I do love me a good mood board, and it inspired me to join in. Plus, it also gives me a way to say Happy New Year to you all!  Win-win. 😉

You just can't go wrong with black, white and gold!  This HNY die I got from HSN by Stamps of Life.  The flute is from CAS-ual Fridays [OOB].

I specifically did not put on the year so I can use this next year [if I want].  I don't send out New Year cards, so this goes into my stash.
