It's a Crazy One

It's a crazy Monday on my blog today. I am starting with the STAMPlorations Sketch;

I might have pushed it a little, but the general layout is there.  I used Vignette; Trendy Feathers.  This set really draws me back to it.  I just love the cute feathers.  I used embossing on the sentiment and the feathers, sticking a gold embossed feather in the back. [That is the October Monthly Challenge; stamps and embossing]

On to the Muse Challenge - I am the Muse this week.  Gosh, I am hoping my card inspires you!  It really is fun to see what is created from my card....

 I wasn't sure I loved this card, but I do like it.  I see potential for you all to make it even better! :)  I gold embossed Maya Road Vintage Doilies Stamps, and stamped my sentiment on vellum.  Definitely an easy card to recreate~  Have fun! [please ;)]

Another crazy Monday!

It's another crazy Monday here on the ole blog.  I am starting with Cardabilities Sketch #107.  Surprisingly, I was done rather quickly with this one.

I decided to use designer paper.  Did I mention I broke my Big Shot?  Bigger then big I broke that puppy!  So bad in fact, the DH had to literally take the entire machine APART - yep every screw came out since I had dies stuck under the roller and I need my dies! :)  Anyway, I [fortunately] have a Grand Calibur as a back up.  However, it's particular --by using really thin dp I was able to at least cut 4 hexagons at once.  That saved me some time for sure.  [Yes, I scored on a new pretty blue Big Shot from Overstock.com and should have it by the time this card posts actually.]

Isn't this a fun sketch!  Karan just makes them so fun to create with.  I hope you like the sketch and pop on over to Cardabilities.  While there, be sure and check out the rest of the Team's samples - fabulous.

I'm the Muse plus...

I'm the Muse over at the Muse Challenge this week.  I sure hope this card gets some great responses.  It's rather embarrassing when no one is inspired... just hinting saying... :)

I started with some water color paper, heavily sprayed with water, and brushed on some paints.  My butterfly is from Cheery Lynn, Exotic Medium Butterfly and a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays, Exclamations.

I sure hope this card inspires you to play along with the Muse Challenge at some point during the week.  I can't wait to see what you create!
