Now this is a fabulous challenge!
I have a few "favorite techniques", so for this challenge I chose water coloring with a graphic feel.
I used tape to make the "squares", and then laid down spots of color and sprayed with water for a little soft blending. I wanted the colors to stay separated.
I cut the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Feather Die out of the panel [so the paint would "line up"]. I cut the Simon Says Etched Delicate Frond Die, and glued it down first, and then popped up the feather, matching the paint up. I like this faux inlaid look.Okay, your turn! Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along. While the twist of your favorite technique is optional, being a birthday is not.
