Just Us Girls Challenge #634 - Photo Inspiration Week

Rather then try to "re-create" our photo inspiration [which I usually do],  I let myself be inspired.

I used an embossing folder for the "basket weave", and grabbed a few flowers from Dare 2B Artsy's Wishing Happiness, and colored those close to the flower colors from the photo.

I grabbed a Simon Says Sentiment Strip, and adhered that over the top of everything, (from the black in the tires.)  I am also entering this into the Can You Handle the Pressure Challenge; Anything Goes with Embossing.  I didn't use the twist of a butterfly.

I had fun being inspired.  Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS Challenge #634 and show us your inspired card.

Totally fabulous! I love the embossed piece paired with the bold blooms. That sentiment is awesome! Great interpretation of the photo!

Great way to be inspired and to inspire others, Vicki. The embossing looks just like the bicycle basket and I love the zentagle look of the flowers.

I love the EF you used to mimic the basket weave. I love the way you took your inspiration from the photo. I too, tend to do more literal interpretations. You did a beautiful job on this card. Thanks for playing with us at Can You Handle The Pressure?.
