CAS-ual Fridays - Crafting of Hue Sponsor

Today, the CFS Team members are creating cards for the Crafting of Hue page over on Facebook.  CAS-ual Fridays is one of the sponsors.  Here is my finished card.

To make this card, I cut 3 Hearts A2 Panel Dies, and sponged some ink on the top layer.  The coverplate has some cut out hearts, so I used a few of those as centers to the main cut out hearts.  Using the newly released Champagne Flute Die, I cut out the glass into a cards panel, and used it as a stencil to sponge ink inside the glass.

Once I got the ink a little darker [then the photo shows], I stamped the image on the stenciled glass using the matching Pop Fizz Clink stamp set, and lastly, I lined up the Champagne die and cut out the glass.

I'm really happy with the end result.  I also really like this fun stamp set with matching dies.  They work for almost any occasion!

That is it for my card today.  I hope you enjoyed it!

CAS-ual Fridays - Crafting of Hue

CAS-ual Fridays is a sponsor for the FB Group, Crafting of Hue. This time, the CFS team is creating coffee cards. Yeah, I am so in with that!

While most of the stampers "color" their images [on the FB Group], I went with water coloring.  I started by water coloring a background panel, once dry, I added some geometric doodling.  I used the To Go Cup Fri-Die [I think my favorite of all time BTW] with some fun designer paper, and added a sentiment from the Cup Refills stamp set.

For added fun, I adhered a couple of [glossy accented] Music Elements Chipboard.

I had fun.  Just to let you know, ALL coffee products are 20% off for this week end.  If you use my code [below], you can save an additional 15% off!  Hey, that's a win for you!

CAS-ual Friday Sponsorship Hop

CAS-ual Fridays is one of the Sponsors for the Crafting of Hue Group over on Facebook.  This week all the CFS Stencils are only $5!  You can even use my code [below] and save 15% off that price!  That's only $3.50 per stencil!  Killer price :).  Meanwhile, the Team is designing cards and having a hop for your preview of how we use stencils.  So.Many.Techniques.!

Here is my final card;

By looking at this photo, it almost looks like a cover plate, but it's not.

I started with some Pixie Spray on the back of the Tin Roof Stencil, layered it over a panel of blue card stock, and brushed on some ink.

I then used some Texture Paste to yep, add on some texture on the panel.

The end result is very crisp looking by using that Pixie Spray I have to say.

To finish off the card, I used a sentiment from Ever After, along with a, Copic colored, chipboard heart from Pawprints Chipboard.

There are so many ways of using stencils!  I hope you take advantage of this fabulous sale, then you too can play with the different techniques.  Don't forget to use my code when purchasing.  BTW, check out the blow out 99¢ sale items while you are there!  Yep, my code applies to those also!

To continue on with the hop, pop on over to the CAS-ual Friday's Blog for the list of Designers participating.  Have fun :)

I love this fun guy from Bushy Tailed, with the matching dies, Fox Banner Fri-Dies.

Both these are on sale, and YEP, my code works on that price.

CAS-ual Fridays on Crafting of Hue

CAS-ual Fridays is a sponsor for the Crafting of Hue over on Facebook.  Yes, this is a coloring group - WOW there are some amazing colorists in this group!  Meanwhile I am posting this card [over there] and here.  Yeah, a colorist I am not, but the card still works since I did color on it :)

I used the Foxy stamp set, and fussy cut the fox image.  I used a soft gray ink for the fox, and left him as is.  I love the detail in this image - I just can't color it appropriately. LOL

I do like the background wreath a lot. :)

That's it for today.  You can save 15% off your purchase from CFS by using my code.
