I'm starting with Simon Says Monday Challenge; Emboss. I totally am in love with the sanding off technique once the panel is embossed.
I have had this numbered embossing folder for like forever! It worked so perfectly with sanding off! (I started off by inking a card panel with a few darker colors, embossed, and sanded off.) I love the color mix on this card.My hb is layered 3 times for dimension. [And, yep, I don't know who made these dies.]

I went on to play in the {Pin}spirational Challenge #307 - Monsters. Once I got my card done, it dawned on me, whoops maybe dinosaurs aren't monsters. Well, I'm going with it -- they are big, they are scary, yep, they fit monster definition in my book. LOL
Problem is, these dinosaurs [Spellbinders D-Lites Dies; Dinosaurs] are kinda too cute to be big & scary. I'm still going with it as I think this card is to fun. Hopefully it doesn't get eliminated. I had a lot of fun creating both these cards! Thanks challenges ~

SIDE NOTE - my post titles might become very generic - Blogger is being [REALLY] stupid, and keeps pulling my posts for community standards guidelines. Oyie Vey - I am doing nothing different with titles since I started blogging back in January 2010! I think someone is just giving themselves something to do to warrant their job!
Thanks for stopping by~ ps - I have used affiliated links in this post at no additional cost to you. (All you need to do is click on the highlighted links in my post). Thanks so much for the support!

That technique does result in a great look! Your birthday card is terrific and those dinos are some darn cute little monsters!
Great technique, but adorably cute and fun dinosaurs that roar just like the monsters do -- right?!
