A new year is upon us - it sounds so futuristic 2023. Crazy right?! I needed a masculine birthday card for my step son. This topic worked perfectly, especially with my new die from Papertrey Ink; Birthday Cover Plate.
I blended on distress oxide ink on a smaller panel, and added some white splatter [faux stars]. I added a cut framework around the panel, and adhered it onto a black card base.
I layered the cover plate with 2 layers [for added dimension], and adhered that onto the base. I hope he likes his card - I really do!

Beautiful! Awesome coverplate!
The colors in your background look very dramatic with the black frame and die cut pieces! I love it!!
What a great birthday card design! I love the bright purple colors too.
Love the colours of your background and the die cut edge is really effective against it! X
Fantastic! I like the pop of color from the blended inks!
What a fantastic masculine card! I struggle to make masculine cards-tend to overthink it.
