Addicted to CAS Challenge #184

There will be some pretty entries in this challenge!

For this card, I used a water color wash background, and a triple layered retired rose die.

It's hard to see, but the top rose die cut is from red mirror paper. It's very pretty ;).  The sentiment is from The Project Bin, Defined.

Okay, your turn.  Come on over to Addicted to CAS Challenge and play along.  Like I said this challenge's gallery will be beautiful I'm sure.

Just Us Girls #489 - Photo Inspiration Week

I'm the Hostess this week.  I sure hope you play along!!

I pulled out my Simon Says Diagonal Stencil and sponged on stripes.  I dual cut the Die-namites Sunny Flower Duo, [using the black for a shadow effect], and cut out the CAS-ual Fridays Friend Fri-die 3 times for dimension.

Okay, your turn.  Like I said above, I am the Hostess for this challenge, and I sure hope you join in!  The gallery should look amazing.  See you at JUGS.

Happy Little Stampers Challenges

The Happy Little Stampers Challenges are on a monthly basis.  I rather like that as it gives me lots of time to join in.

I had every intention of making separate cards.  That didn't happen.  All the challenges came together in one ATC!  How fun is that.

I used a Die-namics flower die; Blooming Carnation [Whoa - it looks like they are out of business!] , and my Hugs is from CUTplorations.  That is 3 of the requirements; ATC, flower, die cut, and the last is glitter.  Yep, stripe down the side.  So, this cute little ATC qualifies for the following HLS Challenges;

The CAS Challenge is smooshing.  I did that for my Hugs.  I don't think this will qualify since it's really not that CAS, but I'm entering it anyway. :)

I did have making fun this tiny ATC.  Thanks Happy Little Stampers~

Tag It, Paper Players & Die-Namites

Jumping into some of my fun challenges~  Paper Players 248; masculine, Tag You're It #23 and Die-Namites; masculine and a sketch.

I used the stunning Die-Namites Elegant Medallion, along with a hb from Hero Arts Many Birthday Messages.  I did use some Add a Little Dazzle Scarlett Red craft metal.  Love this stuff for a masculine card.

I had fun~ Thanks all!

Time for Challenges... again!

I played in some challenges and had an open day on the blog, so that means more eye candy for all of you!

Let's start with the Die-namites January Challenge; a sketch with a dare of pink.

I used the lovely Die-namites, Rosy Rose.  The happy is from Avery Elle-ments, along with MFT's Falling Leaves and Jumbo Fishtail Flags Stax.

I went on to join in over at The Challenge #22 with the sketch portion [kind of tweaked], along with Craft Stamper Magazine; Take a Stamp.

I used a couple of new releases from STAMPlorations, The Bee's Knees, Newlyweds Extra and Houses. Aren't these fun?

Another creative day for me!   See you tomorrow with Just Us Girls Challenge~

I'm the Muse #96

It's my turn over at Muse.  Gosh, the turnout last week was quite fabulous.  Let's hope I inspire you for this week.

I love a strip of paper for a side border - it's my latest "love" :).  I used Inspired By Stamping Holiday Sentiments, and a die from Die-Namites, Elegant Holly.

I sure hope you are inspired by my card, and you play along over at Muse #96.  I'll be commenting!

SCS Color Challenge #503

It's Karen's choice over at SCS Color Challenge, and she chose the following colors; Mossy Meadows, Metallic Gold and Cherry Cobbler.  The dessert is sparkles.

I used IBS Background Basics III for my striped background, I put some Distress stain on some glossy paper and blew it with a straw. I cut out Die-namites die, Elegant Medallion, with some gold glitter paper.  Lastly, I used my new Clearly Besotted MC die layered on the top.  I think I got it all covered tonight!

Come on over to SCS Color Challenge and play along! We would love to have you join in.

CAS on Sunday #41

I won a couple of dies from Die-namites this week and wanted to see if they were going to be as cool as I thought.  Oh yes they are!

Is this Elegant Medallion awesome or what?  I love it!
I am entering this into CAS on Sunday #41; black, white and 1 color [silver].  My congrats is from Inspired By Stamping Big Congrats.

I went on to play with the second die;

While I like this Elegant Holly, the leaves need some texture... I'll be playing more with this one in the future. Any suggestions for adding texture?

Gotta love free stuff! :)

Some Super Fun Challenges!

I had some extra time today and joined in a few challenges;  AEIHeartU; die cut and AE stamp or image, Die-Namites July Challenge; and Retro Sketches 125.

This card qualifies for all 3.  I used a Die-Namites Rose die and a sentiment from Avery Elle, Simply Said Hello, following with the Retro Sketch #125.  I just found the Die-Namites challenge, which was perfect since I literally just got a few of these dies!

After I got the first card done, I realized that I didn't use the sketch that Die-Namites had.  Well, I simply had to make a 2nd card! [Anyone surprised?]

For this one, I used a different Die-Namites, Sunny Flower Duo, and another sentiment from Avery Elle Simply Said Hello, followed the Die-Namites sketch and used the dare, blue.

Die-Namties July 2014 Sketch and Dare Challenge

I'll be uploading these separately since it on one post, but as stated both cards fit 2 out of 3 challenges. I'm good with that.
