Another Fun Day!

Oh yes!  I had so much fun today playing for a couple of challenges.  Let's start with Simon Says Monday Challenge; Sparkle and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge; Christmas. (I did combine these challenges.  Hopefully that's allowed...)

I do love playing with alcohol inks!  I love that you never quite know what you will end up with.  To the inked panel, I also added foil.  Again, I love the glimmer it adds to the ink.  

 

I used the "left over" panel for the decoration of the middle of the ornament. I'm thinking this card has sparkle, and it is definitely a Christmas card.  Challenges covered.

I went on to play in the Kat Scrappiness December Challenge; Holiday Tag.  I use tags as a card gift in some of the cards I mail, so this challenge is perfect!  Plus, it is always fun to make tags.

I used a bunch of Kat's products to make this fun tag.  I started with the Mini Slimline Scalloped Edge Die for my tag base. For the inner panel, I used the Mini Slimline Embossed Edge Die [and embossed that with a snowflake embossing folder].  

 

Then the fun started!  I used the Stitched & Layered Christmas Tree, the wine glass [and wine] from Wine Not Dies, and finally, the Merry from the Merry Christmas Die.  (I am so in love with the font of this die!)  Last step was punching a hole, and adding the twine.

Standing it up, you can see the embossed snowflakes from the folder.  Yep, totally happy with the end result, and I know exactly who it is going to! :)
