Heartfelt Creations August Alumni Hop

It's time for the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop.  This month I wanted to try the new trend, Slimline card.  I am happy to report, I think it worked just fine!  Let me know what you think...

I started by blend sponging on some Oxide inks, adding a sentiment from For My Friend Sentiments,  coloring an image from Wild Aster Scroll & Cluster stamp set, and cutting out with the matching dies, and adhering it to the card base with dimensional tape.

While I still am not sure about these slimline cards, I am happy how this one turned out.

Okay, I think you know the drill.  Leave a comment for a chance to win the $25 gift certificate prize.  Once done, hop on to see the Designers participating in this month's hop.  Have fun!

Thanks for stopping by~

I have this set but had to look at it because I have never used this stamp. It probably would have remained unused; but, thank to your luxuriant card (that inked background is awesome and I love, love the colors) I will start using it now!
