Another crazy Monday!

It's another crazy Monday here on the ole blog.  I am starting with Cardabilities Sketch #107.  Surprisingly, I was done rather quickly with this one.

I decided to use designer paper.  Did I mention I broke my Big Shot?  Bigger then big I broke that puppy!  So bad in fact, the DH had to literally take the entire machine APART - yep every screw came out since I had dies stuck under the roller and I need my dies! :)  Anyway, I [fortunately] have a Grand Calibur as a back up.  However, it's particular --by using really thin dp I was able to at least cut 4 hexagons at once.  That saved me some time for sure.  [Yes, I scored on a new pretty blue Big Shot from Overstock.com and should have it by the time this card posts actually.]

Isn't this a fun sketch!  Karan just makes them so fun to create with.  I hope you like the sketch and pop on over to Cardabilities.  While there, be sure and check out the rest of the Team's samples - fabulous.

STAMPlorations is also starting Sketch #20 [for the next 2 weeks]

I kind of made mine a tad bigger, but the same format is there.

I used STAMPlorations Celebrate and Happy.

Come on over  to STAMPlorations Blog and play along!  We can't wait to see what you create!

And lastly, here is my Card for Monday over at A Walk Down Memory Lane Blog;

Pop on over to A Walk Down Memory Lane Blog to see the supplies used to make this layered stamped card.  I also have a small tool that I show you for help in laying out your card.

Thanks for stopping by~

I love my Big Shot and would not be happy if it broke. Your cards are beautiful as always. Thanks so much for leaving me some love on my blog last week. I am a slacker on stamping these days. Take care,
Dawn

Oh Vicki, can I ever relate to this problem. I got a cutting plate stuck in my Vagabond last year, and I thought I would have to chuck it, but luckily I did it when Tina was visiting, and she was able to help me resolve it and get the machine working once again. WHEW, it was a close call!

Great cards, Vicki! I love those hexagon dies. :)

I broke my Big Shot about a month ago. Boy, was I bummed. I felt like I got hives from the withdrawal. :) Stampin' UP! offered me a deal I could not refuse, and paid for shipping too. Felt like I won the lottery!

Hope yours is already at your house now!

Vicki, you did WHAT??!!! broke your Big Shot!!!?? Oh dear, how on earth did you do that??!! LOL!! So sorry to hear that, mf, but glad that you could save your dies and that your new Big Shot should have arrived by now - you be careful in future when cutting dies, hey!!!!

Your cards are as always such a feast!! I love them all!!! The soft colours of the first one is so beautiful and I love the leaf. Such a feminine card!!
The second one is just soooo happy!!! Love the bright colours!! Great idea to use the 'celebrate' stamp in that way!!
The third is my fav!! Love how you've done the bg and the blue flower is just super!! Love it!!!

Broken die cutting machine is just sad news, indeed! I'd be helpless without my cuttlebug (and I have a Big Shot, currently NBUS - and has been for over a year!) waiting, just. in. case. Good to hear a new arrival is but moments away! Trio of wonderful cards once again; the inspiration for STAMPlorations has sparked ideas...
