Finally - A Faux Gamsol card

I have been seeing this absolutely beautiful coloring on projects now for about 8 months or so.  Well, today is my day to try it!  Now rumor has it you can substitute baby oil in place of gamsol.  I bought baby oil - so, what do you think?  THIS is one of those MY FAVORITE CARD projects!

I CAN color, I REALLY CAN!!  hee hee.  Seriously, I had so much fun, and it was so easy~~ Colored Pencils, baby oil and a blending stump. Here are the directions for Gamsol Technique.  Just replace baby oil for the gamsol.  [Shoot -this could of been my first tutorial]  Since this didn't fit any challenge, I just wanted to share with all of you.  Try this sometime, it is really fun and relaxing!!  Enjoy~~ EDITED:  This fit the inspiration challenge over at STV~~ how perfect!

You are so much fun! Yes, you CAN color! Beautifully! Colored pencils is almost all I ever use. I can't get Gamsol where I live, so I just use low odor mineral spirits that I pick up at Wal-Mart or Lowe's. A can lasts a lifetime! Great job, your card is awesome!

Beautiful Vicki. I managed to find the stubs but could never find the Gamsol. Looks like I should try the baby oil. Beatiful job!
