October Instagram Embossing Folder Hop

The theme for this month's Instagram Embossing Folder Hop is Pattern Play.  I'll be honest, I'm not quite sure what this means.

 Therefore, I added color to a card panel before embossing. Once embossed, I swiped more ink over the top.  Seems playful to me 😉

Even if this isn't what they wanted, I am loving this end result!

AAA Card Challenge #326 - Sketch

An easy sketch for sure.

Apparently, I didn't look close enough, and my sentiment is placed differently.  Whoops.  Oh well, I like the balance of my placements.

I used a really old stamp for the background, and a fun gnome stamp. He makes me smile.

CutCardStock Day

I do love this time of year.  Making Christmas cards is my favorite - I actually mail out my creations!

For this card I used the following colored card stock:  Red Wagon, Brilliant White, Hunter Green, Hot Fudge, Ginger Snap, and Gumdrop Green.  

This is an A2 size card.  I just cut the card base down so I could "hang over" the dome.  

I really am quite thrilled with this card. 😀

Just Us Girls Challenge #876 - Stencil Week

It's an anything goes for this stencil week.  I'm good with that!

My card this week is rather busy.  

I used a Tim Holtz stencil; a flower die [inlaid, and I have no idea who's this is], and a layered Hello from Dare 2B Artzy.

Busy or not, I am kinda liking this card.

STAMPlorations Day

The new trend of ephemera is kinda brilliant.   When you need a fast, easy card - yep, this is the way to go! Shery has some amazing images in the Ephemera Category.  Today I am using a few images of ephemera that can pair with Perfect Pairs; Classic Christmas for the sentiment [*11 images + sentiment stamp is only $10]

Aren't these images just stunning!  The poinsettia - oh yes please!

Like I said, for a 5-10 min creation, use that ephemera!  The end result is beautiful.

October Instagram ATC Hop

I'm not sure if artist trading "coins" are okay for this hop.  But, I'm going with them anyway.  [better to ask for forgiveness vs approval 😉]

I started with a master panel and inked swiped, added tissue paper, did some embossing paste stenciling, and random stamping.  a wonderful mixed media master.  Once all was dried, I cut out 3, 3 1/2 circles.

I added the flowers, leaves, and bold words, along with a tie string, and they were done.  They ended up with a nice, unplanned, autumn color combo.  There's a win!

Memory Box Day

It's time for another Memory box Day.  Again, I am going with a Christmas card.  It works well for me since it is building my Christmas card stash!

Isn't this guy, Lumi Bird, too cute?  He totally makes me smile.  After cutting and glueing him together, I adhered him on top of inverted layers using the Fan Stitched Scalloped Square Frames.  I added a sentiment from Christmas Wonder Clear Stamp Set with Dies.

It's a basic card, but adorable! 😀

I'm keeping with the Christmas mode.  It is getting to be that time of year!

I used the following colors for this lovely CAS card; Classic Linen [base], Re-Entry Red, Hunter Green, Stardream Metallic Fairway, and Bright Foil Gold.  

I just love color against a white background!

Addicted to CAS Challenge #319 - Pumpkin

I found a fun stamp set filled with Halloween images [in my stash - retired naturally].  It had a few pumpkins in it, but I was drawn to the adorable tiny one.

Isn't it cute?  I love it.  This one is going to my grandson for sure!  For a fun change, I went with a purple card base.  [Such a bitch to photograph!]

Just Us Girls Challenge #845 - Mood Board Week

A fun photo for this week's challenge.

I used the fun cup from STAMPlorations Anywhere There's Coffee stamp set, along with the cute ghosts and sentiment from Memory Box Pumpkin Kisses.  The maple leaf is an older Spellbinders die.

STAMPlorations Day

I have 2 projects today, and used an array of STAMP products. It's always fun to share with you all.

This started as a card panel, but as you see that is not how it ended.  I started by swiping ink directly on the panel, stamped with a couple of the Found Fragments, #1 and #2.  Added some stenciling using the Foiled Again Mini Stencil by inking the stencil directly, spritzing with water, and then laying it down on the panel.  A nice outline effect.  I didn't care for the panel shape, so I used the Curly Label Tag dies [OOS] and cut it.   It still needed something so I grabbed the Ephemera Cut Out; Floral Parade and cut with the same die.  I used one of the Retro Femme ATC images, and also cut her out with the same die.  I like the way everything lined up in the tag shape.

For a sentiment, I added one of the fun Clear Stickers; Spring Magic.  

To finish off this tag, I used the Maker's Mark #1.

For my 2nd project, I went with a card using the Simple Expressions; Collect, stamped as a background, and also as the main sentiment.  I also used the Found Fragments #2 for more background.

I used one of the Big Birthday Cakes Colorables, and colored in halloween colors.  [My friend's birthday is on Halloween.]

A basic card, but it works!
