TMITA - Lucky

I have to laugh, this card took me about 2 hours to complete!  Are you kidding me!  The first attempt I tried to mix challenges~~ I threw THAT attempt out.  [OMGosh it was so bad!]  So this is what I ended up with.. I still am not that happy with it but come on! 2 hours is enough already!  LOL  This cute little guy is from Nina over at There's Magic in the Air.  She is so awesome to give away her cute images.  Anyhoo - I used GKD Gold paper - this is really awesome stuff I have to say! I colored the image with copics and used a gold paint marker for the dots.  Pretty easy card.  Thanks for stopping by!  Remember, Stampin B challenge on Thursday and also my STV sketch challenge~~ come on over and join in the fun!!  (Just click on either icon on my sidebar for easy access!)

TMITA - Little Bear

I made this card for a few challenges.  The layout is from SCS269, which I flipped to be able to use this adorable image from There is Magic in the Air.  Nina is so nice to share her digitals on Mondays for her challenges.  Unfortunately for me, I missed part of the challenge to distress my card!!  [What a dummy I am] so it really doesn't fill the requirements - but I still wanted to share it!  Yeah, I could take the card apart and distress it - but NO. LOL.  I can give you a hint on how I distress though - USE A DINNERWARE KNIFE!  Yep it works really well and no "new" tool required!  I KNOW all of you have knives!  LOL.

Lastly,  I haven't mentioned this since I have started this blog, but I run a COLOR CHALLENGE over at Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends on Wednesdays!  I have some wonderful stamping friends who play every week, but I would love for you to join in too!  I believe you have to join (really no big deal) and then just click on the 'color challenge' in the group listing.  The challenge runs from Wednesday to the following Tuesday and the best part?  I send the winner a prize!!  So far I have sent out a ton of prizes!  It is really a friendly and supportive group of ladies!  I sure hope you come and play!  This week's colors are Chocolate Brown, Sage and White (as you can see from my card)  Thanks for stopping by~~
