 My neighbor asked me if I had any military/ patrotic stamps a couple of weeks ago.  When I saw this set from MFP I couldn't believe the fabulous timing!  I had to make him a CAS set of cards -- Oh I am thrilled with this very masculine set of cards~ just what he wanted and surprise, a box to hold them in! Absolutely beautiful set of patriotic stamps!

This set is so cute and fun!  I made an open box to hold baby goodies on a shelf in a nursery.  The little book is for mom to write things baby does so she won't forget!  Talking from experience -- we do forget unfortunately!!  Once again, these images are so fun to color!  (Can you believe I am saying that -- the girl who really dislikes to color - HA!)  EDITED to include this card I made for the SCS Color challenge:  What fun, fun colors - Green, pink, yellow.

 Isn't this just fun!  I am using this to hold the thread/ supplies I use on my card sewing machine.  I have to say this is my favorite project in a while! AND look girls ---- colored .....by ME - pretty darn decently I thought! I wish all my copic coloring would come out like this - lol.
This 2nd card is also for Stampin B's - use a die cut.

I really love this set - the scissors are just fun!  I REALLY liked coloring the spools of thread too!  When you get done hopping, be sure to create a card/ project, use a die cut and upload it over at the Stampin B's!

Mark's Finest Papers November Blog Hop Day 2

It is my day to be featured over at Mark's Finest Papers Blog, but I wanted to share what I made for the 2 sets - Bold & Free and Christmas Postage Due.  I love this feather from Bold & Free- so realistic!  It makes for a great masculine card also.

This second set Christmas Postage Due. I made a gift card holder.  They are always so convenient this time  of year [and with a teenager on the list].  I opted not to color in the nutcracker, and I think it works just being stamped in black.  Want to know how to make this?  Okay.
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 cardstock (half sheet)  -  score at  2" and 6" - adhere side edges of bottom flap.  Decorate as desired.  I used velcro for closure.  Easy right?  My kind of project.

Okay on with the fun stuff!  Here are my samples for Brick Wall: 

This is also my sample for the Color Challenge that I am Hostessing over at Splitcoast Stampers this week.  I chose one of my favorite color combos - Red, Turquoise and White.  Don't these colors just work for this set of stamps!

I originally had made this sample (forgetting I needed the sample for the cc) so I am just showing how versatile this set is with different colors!  A little spotlighting going on with a border punch and you have an entire different looking card!

I went CAS with my sample for this set Bells on Bobtail  I FINALLY found a white gel pen that WORKS!  (Glaze) Good heavens but I have about 10 - that just do.not.work. You can see the little white dots that I added for some fun.  I also paper pieced the bell with some silver paper.
