STAMPlorations Inspirations #200

We are celebrating our 200th inspiration today!  Wow - that is just crazy.  I have been with this team since the beginning.

I used an inked panel with gold effects for my angled panel, and kept the card simple to focus in on the lovely sentiment.

That's it for me.  Pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see what my Teamies have made.  Leave a comment as there is a special $20 coupon code given to the random drawn winner picked from one of the blogs comments.

Meanwhile, don't forget to use my code STAMPGIRLVICKID for a 20% off discount.

Just Us Girls Challenge #470 - Trend Week

It's my challenge over at JUGS.  I hope you play along :)

As you can see, I went with a little amount of emboss resist.  It works.

I used some Inspired By Stamping stamp images; Summer Bouquet and Spring Lilacs [retired].  I do have to say, I really miss this company.  Joanna had some amazing stamp sets.

Okay, your turn.  There are so many possibilities using emboss resist.  I can't wait to see what you make!  You can join the challenge HERE.

Happy Little Stampers January ATC Challenge

We are back this month for the next HLS ATC Challenge.  This month is vintage.

A few years back my sister sent me some really old family photos.  I instantly thought of these for my vintage ATC's.  This month, I did something a bit different with the group of ATCs.

To make these ATC's, I cut card stock down to size [2½ x 3½], cut the photos and adhered them on to some designer paper adhered to the ATC base.  I sponged and stamped [to vintage them up], and they were done.  Once created, I wanted to actually be able to view these fun ATCs so, I went scrounging in my stamp room, and came up with this perfect shadow box.

The upper left is my Great Aunt, the horses are from my Great Grandparents relocating to Canada [yep, they moved by horse!], the car is my grandmother's first car and they went on a picnic for a road trip, and finally, the bottom right is my [very young] grandparents.

Finally, a side view. This is now hanging in my bathroom, and I have to say, it looks pretty awesome!

Okay, your turn.  Show us your vintage ATC over at the Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge.

Dare 2B Artzy Day

It's my first post of 2019 with Dare 2B Artzy.  As with a lot of us,  I needed a thank you card.  So, here it is;

I used the Power of Flowers stamp set, along with the [perfect for this needed card] Thanks Layered Die.

I water colored the flowers, and used some of the fabulous in-house designer paper from the Summertime Petals Collection.

That's it for today.  I'll be back in a couple of weeks with another D2BA post.

STAMPlorations Inspirations #199

Again for this week, [and the entire month], the STAMPlorations Inspiration Team can design anything they want, using any Illustrators designs.

It feels like I haven't colored an image in a long time, so I pulled out Blossom Sprays #1.  It is so relaxing just sitting and coloring in this lovely flower arrangement.

I stamped the sentiment, using Big Greetings, on vellum and embossed with clear powder.

I hope the recipient enjoys this card.  Nothing like starting 2019 with a late birthday card.  Sheesh.

You can pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see more inspiration.

Don't forget, you can use my code STAMPGIRLVICKID to save 20% off your order!

Addicted to CAS Challenge

I am happy to say that I am now on the Addicted to CAS Challenge Team!  I was on this team years ago, and it is nice to be back!  Thanks for having me Kylie :)

This 2 week challenge is all about snowflakes.  That's an easy one :)

I used a really old die set [retired] from Sweet & Sassy, and layered them up, while still maintaining all the white space.

The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays Sugarplum Fairies.

Okay, you know the drill -- make your own CAS card with a snowflake, and enter it in over at the Addicted To CAS Challenge!
