STAMPlorations Inspiration #77

This is my last card using the newly released stamps sets from April. I will be using these in the future, but for this month I'm done.  Today I am using Big Grins [Becca Cruger, illustrator] new set, Strong Women.  This set has some really good sentiments!

I love cards that really don't require anything but the sentiment.  Easy to make, but perfect!

SCS Color Challenge #584

For the SCS Color Challenge this week, Maura has chosen Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie, with a dessert of any green.  Well, I came as close as I had with the colors, and didn't use the dessert.

I used the newly released STAMPlorations Trendy Feathers 2.  [I do love these fun feathers.]  My happy is from Mama Elephant. I used an embossing folder for the panel texture.

Your turn!  Come on over to the SCS Color Challenge and play along!  We would love to have you to join in~

Just Us Girls #344 - Color Week & CAS-ual Fridays

It's Color Challenge Week over at JUGS.  It is also my day for a post over on the CAS-ual Friday's blog.  Therefore, I combined one card.

I used CAS-ual Fridays stamp set, Tin Roof for my water colored, resist background, along with the Friend Fri-Die.  I was actually able to use some of my [really, really old] Perfect Plum card stock and ink from Stampin Up!  I loved that!  My card base is vanilla, but you can't tell in this photo...... :(

Your turn!  Come on over to Just Us Girls and play along with us!  Can't wait to see your creations.  [The DT cards this week are amazing!!!]

Seize the Birthday - Dimention

The optional topping this week is dimension

Probably 95% of my cards have dimension, and today's card is no exception.  I love using foam tape to pop up my images. I also used white crafter foam for popping up my card panel. Using Altenew's Hennah Elements makes for an amazing dimensional card in my book.

Now it's your turn to join in over at Seize the Birthday!  Remember, the topping is optional, but it must be a birthday card.

Mod Squad One Layer Card Challenge

For this challenge, we at Mod Squad are challenging you to make a one layer card.  Sometimes, these are easy to make, sometimes not so much.  Fortunately, this time it was easy for me.  By using Inspired By Stamping's Flower of the Month, Aster stamp set, my card came together quickly.

I love coloring IBS images -- nice and easy :).

Your turn!  Come on over to the Mod Squad Challenge and play along!  There are some amazing prizes offered to the winners!

STAMPlorations Inspirations #76

I am having so much fun with the new release [from April] - today I am using the fun Dee's Artsy Impressions set, Smile [Illustrated by Deepti Malik]  Talk about fun flowers to color!

I might not color as fabulously as some stampers out here in blogland, but I am happy with this card.  I do love bright colors against a gorgeous white background.

Pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out what the other Designers created. Don't forget to leave a comment for the monthly prize.

SCS Color Challenge #583

For the Color Challenge this week, Barbara chose some fabulous bright colors!  Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron, with a dessert of water coloring.  This all worked for me!

For my background panel, I used a technique that, I think, I made up!  I laid down a stencil [Tim Holtz Scribbles] over some spritzed with water, water colored paper, and then smooshed ink onto it with a piece of transparency film. I rather like the result :)  My sentiment is a FIRST too -- I actually used a SRM Sweet sticker.

It's pretty easy using stickers! Who knew~

Your turn.  Come on over to the SCS Color Challenge and show us your stuff using the colors!  We would love to have you join in!
