Customer's Cards & Gifts

I spent all day yesterday making a few of my customers Christmas cards, and small gifts.  Literally, all.day.  What I thought would be a couple of hours.......well, plans are good.  I wanted to share what I made just for the fun of it.

I used a stamp set I got last year [on sale of course], EK Success Evergreen Holiday.  I have to say, the images in this set are quite fabulous!  To bad it has been discontinued.

I went on to make bookmarks for a few of the women customers,
using Inspired By Stamping, Winter Birds.
I put them in a gift size envie made with a CUTplorations Die, Card Envelope.
Of course I had to get a coffee cup in there somewhere :)

Even though these took longer then expected, I had fun making them.
I hope my customers will like them.

Merry Monday Challenge #224 & Muse Christmas #72

Today I am playing in the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #224 - a masculine Christmas card.

I do love making masculine cards.  This one is once again for my son.  By choosing masculine colors, I think this makes for a masculine card.  I used an OOB Top Dog Doily Die cut, Simon Says Eliza Snowflake Die cut, and CUTlorations Merry Christmas Word Phase Die cut

I went on to play in Muse: Christmas Visions #72.  My fellow teamie Cornelia made a fabulous tag.  I also made a tag, but put it on a card for easy mailing. I kept with the silver embossed background and sentiment that she used.

SCS Color Challenge #611

Karen chose awesome colors for this week; Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Vanilla dessert of sparkles.

For my candy cane, I printed and cut a digi from online, with my Silhouette.  [Thrilled with how that turned out.].  For my sparkle, I used Perfect Pearls after I sponged on my color using Distress Inks.  The Perfect Pearls will '"stick" to the ink since it stays "wet" for a short time.  I do love the shimmering look of the Perfect Pearls.  My mc is CUTplorations Merry Christmas Word Die, and my background is CAS-ual Fridays Tin Roof.

Come on over to SCS Color Challenge and play along!  We would love to have you join in~
Don't forget, if you use my code VICKI2016 over at CAS-ual Fridays, you will save 15%!

My Favortite Things and Simon Says Challenges

For my post today, I am playing in a few challenges.  My blog has actually been quiet [for me], and, I still need more Christmas cards.  Might as well play and share with all of you too - win-win.

My Favorite Things Sketch #308.  I purchased Blooming Roses [and dies] a few days ago, and wanted to play with this set.  Perfect that I had a MFT sketch to use.

I went ahead and made this card using all MFT products; Pierced Circles, Fishtails Flags, Booming Roses and matching dies [retired].

I went on to join in both Monday [3 of something] & Wednesday [Christmas to die for] Simon Says Challenges.

Again, I also purchased Simon Says Summer Garden [and matching dies] (retired) a while ago, and decided to use this set.  I colored the 3 flowers red to represent poinsettias.  The Merry Christmas [that you can hardly see...] is from Simon Says Candy Cane Christmas.

Okay, that was a fun break.  Now I am off to address my Christmas cards for mailing tomorrow.
