Just Us Girls #399 - Photo Inspiration Week

Image result for summer vacation images

I LOVE this photo!  I want to be in this photo! :)

I think I did the photo justice.

When I saw the photo I instantly thought of my Inspired By Stamping Seaside and Seaside Sentiments.  [Both are sold out].  A very tranquil card - and as stated, I would love to be there!

I did laugh at how last week's card could of been for this week too!
Your turn. How does the card inspire you?  I can't wait to see the gallery this week.  Pop on over to the JUGS Challenge and check out what the Team made too.

2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Hop using STAMPlorations

STAMPlorations is another one of the many sponsors for the Summer Coffee Lovers Hop.  It is my pleasure that I design for this company, and get to share a few of the new coffee products!

I'll start out with the Zen Coffee ATC #1.  Yes, this is an ATC size image, and I did cut this out with the  ATC Tag Builder Die.  I adhered it onto a card base [since I make cards], and added on some washi tape.

Now this image is totally fun; Caffeinated Zen 3.  The image is bigger about 4" high, and makes for a great "cup" card!  I colored the sleeve with my sharpies, and stamped the inside too.

Cute isn't it?

For this card, I used What's Brewing.  There are many fun images in this set.  I kept my card CAS, but I do like the pop of the green background panel [cut with Crazy Double-Stitched Rectangles.].

So, that's it for me and a few of STAMPlorations new coffee images.  Don't forget, Shery is running a 15% off sale through July 7th for STAMPloration's 4th birthday, AND, you can save an additional 20% off using my code; STAMPGIRLVICKID!

Off to hop~

2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Hop using Dare 2B Artzy

It's that awesome time again - the Coffee Lover's Hop week.  Since I design for 2 of the [many] sponsors, I wanted to make a couple of cards.

I'll start with Dare 2B Artzy.  Cindy has some super fun coffee sets, and this week, they are 10% off!

I stenciled the background panel with distress inks [in Summer colors], and then spritzed with water for the muted effect.  I colored my coffee mug with my Copics.

I used Cup of Cheer to make this card.

I went on to make this card;

For this card, I did a water color wash background and used the Perfect Blend stamp set.

STAMPlorations Inspirations #139

It's STAMPlorations Inspiration time here on my blog.  This week, we are featuring Dee's Artzy Impressions.  Because it is STAMPlorations birthday, ALL stamps sets are 15% off [through July 7th], and you can save an additional 20% off by using my code STAMPGIRLVICKID!!

I thought I would try the circle background sponging I have been seeing in blogland,  Using the new oxide inks makes this technique work pretty awesome!  I used Best Mom Ever, along with a sentiment from Fond Expressions 2.

That's it for me today.  Pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see what my Teamies have created.

Make It Monday #288

It has been months since I have played in the PTI Make It Monday Challenge.  This week, Lexi had a fun tool to use - pantone ink chips.

I used the fun PTI set; Boy Basics: Skater Dude with the matching die.  [Apparently, the set had been discontinued].  This card will be perfect for my son when he starts college.  He is excited about it, and "totally stoked" ;).

I had fun making this simple card.  I might even make more in the near future!

Inspired By Stamping Day

It's my Inspired By Stamping day here today.  I'll also name the winner of my last week's give away at the end of this post.

For today's card, I used the Just For You stamp set.  I also used [the retired] Flowers in Bloom. Sorry about the retired set, but I totally love the Just For You set! Fortunately, there are other beautiful floral sets that you could use for this layout.

Okay, the random chosen WINNER of my $20 gift certificate for Inspired By Stamping [with free USA shipping] goes to:
#13 Denise Bryant!

Just Us Girls #398 - Color Week

I can't wait to see what the team did with these colors. They say masculine to me.

My card, while encouraging, is definitely for a male.

I used distress oxide inks, with water splatters for my background, and a sentiment from IBS Water Color Sentiments [sold out].  The Circle Loop dies are from Simon Says.

Okay, your turn.  How do you see using the above colors?  Come on over to Just Us Girls Challenge, and show us your stuff.

Happy Little Stampers Challenges

The Happy Little Stampers Challenges are on a monthly basis.  I rather like that as it gives me lots of time to join in.

I had every intention of making separate cards.  That didn't happen.  All the challenges came together in one ATC!  How fun is that.

I used a Die-namics flower die; Blooming Carnation [Whoa - it looks like they are out of business!] , and my Hugs is from CUTplorations.  That is 3 of the requirements; ATC, flower, die cut, and the last is glitter.  Yep, stripe down the side.  So, this cute little ATC qualifies for the following HLS Challenges;

The CAS Challenge is smooshing.  I did that for my Hugs.  I don't think this will qualify since it's really not that CAS, but I'm entering it anyway. :)

I did have making fun this tiny ATC.  Thanks Happy Little Stampers~
