STAMPlorations Inspirations #252

The first month is almost over for 2020.  How crazy is that!

Today I am using Hello Coffee.  The images in this set are so versatile for a nice variety of cards.

I love the sponged color against the white base.  It makes for a lovely CAS card [I think].

And just using the black outline of the flower image works beautifully stamped on the pretty background.

Remember to leave a comment for the $10 monthly random-drawn prize, and you can save 20% off your purchase if you use my code STAMPGIRLVICKID.

Just Us Girls Challenge #520 - Photo Inspiration

It's my challenge over on the JUGS Blog.  I was completely drawn to this photo.  I really loved the colors in it also, but artistic I am not, so I used what I could do.

I did use the layout of the photo.  At least that much I could do. :)  I used images from Inspired By Stamping.  I really miss this company.  Joanna had some amazing stamp sets.

That's it for my inspiration.  Your turn!  Come on over to Just Us Girls Challenge Blog and show us how you are inspired by the photo.

CAS-ual Fridays Day

It's CAS-ual Fridays Day here on my blog.  I needed a January birthday card and this one fit the bill.

I just think of black and gold for the month of January.  I added in the fun kitten from Little Huggables with matching Huggable Critters Set Fri-Dies.
I gold embossed the Full On Foral background, along with a sentiment from Whole Shebang. I sure like the little critters.  I think they are just fun!

Don't forget, my code is good for any purchase over at CAS-ual Fridays, including the 50% off retirement section!

STAMPlorations Hey Love Hop & Linky Party

STAMPlorations is having their Hey Love Hop and Linky Party!  This is where there is lots of inspiration, and then YOU can join in the fun too.  Read all about it  HERE.

For my card, I used one of Shery's new digi images;

For a change, I used colored pencils to color this image.   I think I prefer Copics :).  However, the sharper tip of the pencil does make it easier to color these detailed images.
I added the white dots to the sentiment for a little pop, as the black just seemed boring to me.

For this digi, I used my Extra Fine Sharpies.  I kept the colors neutral and then added in a fun pop of pink.  I like this for a masculine look.

Once you pop on over and read all about this hop/linky, and the prizes available, I bet you will want to join in the fun! Don't for get to leave a comment. Meanwhile, you can use my code STAMPGIRLVICKID for a 20% discount.  [This does apply to the already discounted prices too.]

STAMPlorations Inspirations #251

The weeks are flying by for 2020, right?!  Time for another weekly inspiration from STAMPlorations.

Today I am using Born to Roam.  I love the traveling theme of this set.

I used some "world" paper I once again found while remodeling the Stamp Room, and for some added pop, I made it a shaker card.
I think the un-colored plane works against the shaker stars, and colored bg paper.

Remember, leave a comment for the $10 prize [randomly picked], and you can save 20% off your purchase if you use my code STAMPGIRLVICKID.

Just Us Girls Challenge #519 - Color Week

While there are so many ways to use these colors - I went with ink blending.  [Sometimes the mood just strikes right?]  Plus, I need [unfortunately] to stock pile some sympathy cards.

I used these lovely, [very old] stamps from Rubbernecker, and There She Goes [OOB].  I just chuckle at how old some of my stamps really are.  [I just can not get rid of them].  But then again, as long as I use them, saving them works for me!  Do you save your old stamps?

Okay, your turn!  Come on over to JUGS Challenge and show us how you use the colors!

Seize the Birthday Challenge - Stencil

This is going to be a wonderful gallery.  There are so many ways of using stencils!

I went basic using dual sponging for some added fun.

Gotta love a round card too :)

Your turn.  Use those stencils [option], make it a birthday card, and upload it over on the Seize the Birthday Challenge.  Can't wait to see what you create!
