Seize the Birthday

The topping this week; Pattern Paper

I dug in one of my many pattern paper drawers, and came up with some fun paper.  I used Verve's Coffee Helps stamp set, and matching Cup for All Seasons dies, along with the sketch from Viva la Verve.  [I really enjoyed using this sketch.  It seems like forever since I joined in a sketch challenge.]
I know it seems like this isn't a bday card, but really it is.

Here is the inside.
I used Papertrey Ink, Big Favorites #24.

(This is a huge milestone birthday year for most of my friends.  That "coffee" will help, LOL).

Ok, your turn.  Come on over and show us how you will use pattern paper on your birthday card.  [You don't have to use the pattern paper, but you must make a birthday card.]

Dare 2B Artzy Day

For today's D2BA post, I am sharing the last card I made from the Totally Tracy, Dotted Swirl stamp set. [This is also over on the D2BA Blog.]

For this final card, I started with the Swirl Stencil, and inked it up on the card base.  Separately, I water colored a card panel, and once it dried, I white embossed the stamp set swirls, and a sentiment from Cup of Cheer.  Lastly, I added a water colored butterfly from Butterfly Inspiration.

I hope you enjoyed my card from the Totally Tracy; Dotted Swirls.

STAMPlorations Inspirations #175

The Inspiration Team is still continuing with our theme this month, Things with Wings.

For my card today, I inked sprayed a card panel, and cut it out with a circle die, and also cut a separate card panel for an inlaid circle. I stamped on the sentiment, and used a bird from For the Birds, and dies. Once again, I kept it CAS.  I just love bright color against a white card base.

You can see the rest of the Team's cards HERE.

Don't forget, all things with wings sets are 15% off over at the store.  You can save an additional 20% off by using my code STAMPGIRLVICKID.

It's my day for the CAS-ual Fridays card.

For my [very] bright card today,  I water colored the CFS Little Birdie [and matching die], Best Day Ever stamp [and matching die], and my border is from Daisy Chain.

I think this card will cheer up the recipient just fine! :)

Just Us Girls #441 - Color Week

This is a fun color combination!

Besides the fact that my gray circle looks violet [good grief], I am loving this masculine card.  I used Hero Arts Brush Strokes [retired], and the Happy from Crafty Cutts.  My white embossed birthday is from  Motivet, also retired.  [Actually, the company is OOB.]

Your turn.  Come on over to the Just Us Girls #441 Challenge, and play along.  The gallery will look awesome by week's end.

CAS-ual Fridays May Release - Final Day

It is the final day of the CAS-ual Fridays May Release.

For my final 2 cards, we are focusing on the [very unique] Sands of Time 2 and Hourglass Fri-Die.

I just had to see how a shaker card would work with the Hourglass Fri-Die.  So fun!

For my 2nd card, I stamped the image on vellum using the "sand" image with white embossing powder.

[All the new stamp sets and fri-dies are available for purchase!]

CAS-ual Fridays May Release - Day 3

Day 3 on my blog today of the CAS-ual Fridays May Release.

We are featuring Peaceful Garden and Garden Fri-Dies.

For this first card, I embossed the back panel, and used a doily.  I stamped the images on the smaller panel, added a sentiment, and adhered it onto the card base.

For my 2nd card, I sponged a panel using Oxide Inks, and used the Garden Fri-Dies to cut out the images.  Lastly, I added the stamped sentiment. I love the color on the black stripes.

[All the new stamp sets and fri-dies will be available on the release day.]
