It's Dazzling Diva time. This week is pink and gold.
A fun card for a little princess ;) -- I used Pucker Me Pink, Princess Pink and Golden Glimmer metal sheets on my card. Every week I am re-amazed at the detail these sheets pick up when embossed, both dry and wet!
Come on over to Dazzling Divas Challenge and play along! There is a prize and very few players [unfortunately], so your chances of winning are awesome! :)
I bought the fun Mama Elephant Happy die while I was in Seattle, I think I like it! :) My trustie label maker helped to finish off this masculine card.
It's your turn now -- pop on over to The Male Room and play along! I look forward to seeing how you are inspired by the sketch!
I am also over at A Walk Down Memory Lane Blog with a small tutorial on making this card:
It's One Layer Christmas Card Challenge. This week is glitter.
I made some glitter stripes and used an inlaid punch of EK Christmas Tree. I saw something in blogland asking if this really is a one layer card [when adding an inlaid die] - I think it is. It's one layer, just different colored papers. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking with it! :)
Hi all - it's CASEploration time over at the STAMPlorations Blog. This month we are CASEing Loll Thompson. [If you don't know Loll, I recommend popping over and checking out her creations~ Just one word; WOW!]
It's AAA Card Challenge time. This week we are going rain or water coloring.
I love water dropping on cards. I used distress inks, let them dry, and then sprinkled water. I just love the way distress inks react with water. You never know what will happen -- [that's the fun part!] :) My sentiment and heart [inked and spritz with water before stamping] are from a new acquisition from Hero Arts, Year Round Sentiments.
Okay fellow stampers, it's your turn. Go for that "rain" look, keep it CAS and join up over at AAA Card Challenge. While there, be sure and check out our new Team!! You will love their cards~
I am ending the month with totally insanity or very busy day on the blog.
Starting with my last Cardabilities Sketch #118 as a DT member. It has been a year -- a very fast year -- filled with amazing sketches! Thanks Karen for keeping me around. I had an amazing time creating with your sketches for players. You will see me as a player in the future.
While Karen made her sketch a long card, I flipped it and made it tall and skinny. With the help of a clock embossing folder, leaves from PTI Turning a New Leaf [and dies] and a sentiment from Hero Arts, Essential Messages, this card is complete, and so is my term with Cardabilites. I also entered this into the Time Out Challenge; Round the Clock.
Again, thanks much Karen. I fully enjoyed creating with your sketches!
Now, it's your turn! Pop on over to Cardabilities, check out the other DT's samples, and then, play along! We do love seeing all your creations.
Next up is Just Us Girls #282 - it's my week to Hostess and here is your inspiration photo:
[A little bigger image for you]
Such a trendy card. Shakers have definitely made a come back due since super fun sequins have hit blogland. My thanks is Lawn Fawn.
Okay people - YOUR turn. You absolutely have no excuse not to play along; there are tons of aspects of the photo you can choose from! Just check out what the Team did! See you over at Just Us Girls~
Amy and Chaitali have done it again; another super fun Coffee Hop! I have had the pleasure of meeting [and stamping with] Miss Amy. This photo is from my last visit to Seattle and the stamper's get together. She said to me "You are tall" -- sorry Amy, you are just short, I'm only 5'4"!
She is just as amazing in person as she is online, and, she is addicted to coffee ;)
These hops always generate a ton of players and I am one of them.
I am heading over to Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog to check out all the other entries. I have so much fun on these coffee hops -- there is lots of inspiration for future cards, and always awesome chances of winning something from one of the sponsors!
