Can't get much brighter then using neon inks with Hero Arts, Brush Strokes. :) My fabulous is done on my Silhouette that I stamped the top layer with IBS Background Basics 2.
It is also SCS Color Challenge #494 - Mary chose Mambo Melon, Basic Grey, Wild Wasabi, with a dessert of your choice; summer or a Christmas card. As you can see, I didn't do the dessert. However, I did use Mojo Monday's Sketch #361.
And, I stayed with the neon colors since they were so close to Mary's choice. I used Verve's Celebration of Thanks [looks retired], along with SU Simple Shapes [also retired] and IBS Background Basic Lines. I certainly had a bright day!
Come on over to SCS Color Challenge and play along! We would love to see what you create~
Thanks for stopping by~
I'm the Muse over at the Muse Challenge this week. I sure hope this card gets some great responses. It's rather embarrassing when no one is inspired... just hinting saying... :)
I started with some water color paper, heavily sprayed with water, and brushed on some paints. My butterfly is from Cheery Lynn, Exotic Medium Butterfly and a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays, Exclamations.
I sure hope this card inspires you to play along with the Muse Challenge at some point during the week. I can't wait to see what you create!
It is also STAMPlorations Sketch #19. A fabulous, general sketch, that I really enjoyed!
I used the stunning Bloom Sketches - Shery does such a nice job of creating fabulous images, don't you think? :)
We hope you play in the STAMPlorations Sketch Challenge #19 - you don't have to use STAMPlorations images, but if you have them, we would love to see them!
Finally, here is my A Walk Down Memory Lane Card for Monday;
Pop on over to the A Walk Down Memory Blog to see what supplies I used and a tutorial to make it.
Sorry for such a crazy Monday -- Thanks for stopping by~
I used a set of stamps I bought on line and I have no idea who made them! [Any suggestions?] I cut out a label panel, inked a stencil with distress ink, and spritzed it with water. Subtle water coloring this week for me. There are so many ways to use water coloring.
I had so much fun with this challenge! I watched yet another video from Jennifer McGuire, No Mess Glitter Die Cuts. [Gosh that girl is so amazing with all her different techniques and hints!] I wanted to try this so I did with my round card.
I'm taking a free day today to play in a few challenges.
Winnie & Walter [a new to me challenge] is running a challenge with Simon Says so I thought I would join in. The challenge is to use a Simon Says stamp [or a Winnie & Walter stamp which, I don't have any] and make 2 cards with it.
