Just Us Girls #353 - Photo Inspiration Week

It's Photo time over at Just Us Girls.  I am so loving the stripes on this photo so that's what I went with.
I used the direct to paper technique with my ink pads.  I just love the look.  Using my Hero Arts Palm die, and the CUTplorations Hello, and the Crazy Double Stitched Rectangles, my card is done!

We hope the photo inspired you, and that you play along!  See you over at Just Us Girls #353.

Becca's Link Up

Becca, over at Damsel of Distressed is holding a link up for her 30th birthday give-a-way.  She has a super fun inspiration board.  When I saw that, I had to play along.

I used my Copics to color my "lines".  The happy is from Mama Elephant, and the bday is from Neat & Tangled Everyday Labels.

As you can see from the board, I was inspired by the top panel of stripes.  I do love stripes :).

That's it for my Friday.  I hope you all have a great creative week end~

Flourishes Day

It's my day over on the Flourishes blog.

For my card today, I went basic black & white, but instead of stamping the image on the top of the card cover, I stamped the inside with the adorable image from Kid's Play.  When the recipient opens the card, they still have the fun image. I am also entering this over at Stamp, Paper, Ink #57 - B&W.

Here is the entire set.

REMEMBER; Almost all of the stamp sets are on sale through July 31st!
Check out the Flourishes Store, and see what you need. :)

STAMPlorations #86

I was perusing the internet this week end and came across this marvelous site!  I found the perfect project to make, and wanted to share it with all of you;

Isn't this fun!  I needed another tablet for my notes, and this little project is perfect.  Then again, it might just be a gift...... we shall see.
I used Sketchy Coffee Cups, along with a sentiment from Noteworthy.

Meanwhile, come over to the STAMPlorations Blog and check out the other creations the Team has made.  I'm sure you will be glad you did.
Don't forget to leave a comment for the random drawn monthly prize.

SCS Color Challenge #592

It's my Color Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.  This week I chose Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe and So Saffron.  The dessert is dimension.

I love color blocking!  By adding the pretty butterfly and a word die from CUTplorations, this card came together very quickly :).  Fortunately, I do like it!

I hope you come on over to the SCS Color Challenge and play along!  The gallery should be awesome with these colors~

Calling All Sistahs July Blog Hop

This hop is sponsored by Michelle Gross, the owner of CAS-ual Friday Stamps.  Here is her story;
"We hop on the 17th of each month (the anniversary of the day I discovered my own lump) to promote the importance of early detection and to remind our sistahs to do their self breast exams.
It's important to me to be able to give back and pay it forward, so 50% of the profits from my special Calling All Sistahs Collection are donated to
Nearly all of us has been touched by this terrible disease either personally or through someone we love, and it is my sincere hope that we lose no more of our sistahs to it."

I dug out my [really] old SU Big Letters to use with the ribbon image from CAS-ual Fridays Hope Ribbon set, [and die] and used the flowers from CAS-ual Fridays Truth Blooms.  While the ink isn't pink, it still portrays an encouraging card~

Pop on over to CAS-ual Fridays Blog to see the entire list of participants, along with the PRIZE that Michelle is offering.

Don't forget, if you use my code VICKI2016, you can save 15% off your CFS purchases.

CAS on Sunday #87

I got an email for the CAS on Sunday #87 challenge; sequins.  I instantly had an idea for a card, so I ran with it.

Isn't this fun!  I love including a"gift" to the recipient of my cards.  An envie filled with sequins -- perfect for the fellow stamper this is going to!  Can't get much CASer then this either, huh? :)
I used the newly release Thanks Die from CUTplorations.  [I love the font of this die.]

I had a great time playing in this challenge -- it seems like forever since I made a card for fun.
