Guesting at Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge #109

I am thrilled to be Guesting with the Creative Artiste Mix Media Challenge #109.  I found this challenge a few months back and have joined in every month since!  It's always Anything Goes, and when creating mixed media, that makes it even more enjoyable!

For my Guesting project, I made a 5.5 x 5.5 size birthday card.  I used so many fun products; stickers, recyclable cardboard, self made tissue paper, washi tape, gesso, chipboard, ephemera, paint, and my favorite staples!  Yep, I really get into the products :)

I had so much fun making this card!  I am really happy with the end result also.

Thanks Creative Artiste for having me as your Guest Designer.

Do you do mixed media?  If not, I can highly recommend it - it's very calming, and you can just keep adding to your creation if you aren't happy with it.  Come on over to the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge #109 and show us what you created!  I'll be checking the gallery!

Guesting at AAA Card Challenges #260

I am Guesting over at the AAA Card Challenge!  I like that 😀

I used some gel printed panels (from my stash), to cut out the butterfly shape.

I grabbed a sentiment (also from my word stash), and this CAS card was complete.

I hope you like the sketch and come on over to AAA Card Challenges and show us your card. You have until March 16th to join in.

Thanks AAA Card Challenge for having me as your Guest Designer.  I had fun!

Guest Designing for Time Out Challenges #258!

I was excited to win a GD spot for Time Out Challenges!  This guy is the bomb for a super fun card!

While he is here to "inspire" us for a card, I loved the colors of this frog, so, I went a looking through my woodblock stamps [knowing I had at least 1 frog image].  Low & behold, I found 2!  However, when I went to stamp them, sadly one went into the trash.  [Yep folks, here in AZ rubber stamps do not survive in our heat - dried out big time]  I was rather glad the other one worked as he made a terrific card!

I made a mini slimline, using a few of Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimlines Dies for the panels,  I cut some circles for highlighting, and adhered this Copic colored fun guy onto the rounds.

I did add some Nuvo Crystal Drops to him for the "shine" [hard to photograph], and kind of caught his colors - [though not as vivid 😀].  I also computer generated a sentiment, and fussy cut it out.

I hope our "friend" inspires you. If so, join in over at the Time Out Challenges #258. You have until March 13th to play along.

Thanks so much for the Guesting Gig T.O. Team!  I certainly had fun!

GUESTIE at Cupcake Inspiration #343

I was honored to be asked to be a Surprise Sweetie [Guest Designer] over at Cupcake Inspiration!  Today's challenge is a theme; Around the World.

I used the fun Avocado Arts stamp set Zip n By to Say Hi.  [I think it is retired.  I couldn't find a link to the set - sorry]  Anyway, it was the first set I thought of with today's theme.

What do you think of with Around the World theme?  Pop on over to Cupcake Inspirations Challenge and play along!

Thanks for having me as a Guestie, Sweeties  -- it was fun!

Guestie at the Sisterhood

I am the Guest Designer over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for Challenge #37!  It runs for the next 2 weeks, and the challenge is wine.

Timing could not of been more perfect!  Some friends are retiring and they are moving to Mexico and will be living at the beach.  [So exciting for them], perfect challenge for me to make them a retirement  card!

My beach background is Innovative Stamp Creations, Serenity, along with a sentiment from STAMPlorations, Celebrate, and my trusty label maker.  I had to down load a digi wine glass - I can not believe I have no wine glasses in all-my-stamps!  [really??] - thankfully, the digi worked.

Okay, it's your turn - come on over to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and join in the challenge.  I can't wait to see how you are inspired by wine.

Guest Designing over on Paper Crafting Challenges

I am so excited~ today I am Guest Designing over at Paper Crafting Challenges!  I won a challenge a few weeks ago, and this is my reward.  Works for me.

The challenge theme is Inspired By.  Just create a card from your favorite card maker.  Since Kimberly is such an awesome supporter of my work, and is on the Paper Crafting Team, who better to create from!

I used STAMPlorations, Bloom Sketches with water coloring, and my [used a lot] Sentiment; Celebrate.
Here is Kimberly's card I was inspired by:

Rumor has it ;), Paper Crafting Challenges is also having a DT Call!  Find a stamper who inspires you, make a card and upload it over at Paper Crafting.  If you are interested, maybe YOU will make the Team!  Good Luck.

I want to thank Kimberly, Justin and Paper Crafting for having me as their Guest Designer!  I had a great time CASEing Kimberly.
