Well this month went super fast!  Does time seem to move faster to everyone else too?  Man!  This is my last week for being the Guest Designer for the Curtain Call Challenge.  I went with  a CAS card - I am really getting into the clean and simple - so fun to make!!  Here are the colors for this week:
Here is my last sample:

Curtain Call {Act} #48

Week 3 for me as Guest Designer over at Curtain Call.  Here are the colors this week:
and here is my sample card
:

I will be honest, I struggled with these colors.  Part of the reason, my mojo has taken a little walk about - hopefully he is do to return soon!  I went to SCS for some motivation, and found Beate's Criss Cross Card.  [Hint:  whenever my mojo walks, I go looking for a "project" type of card to help me create] This was fun to make, and luckily, I like the end result!  Considering I have like 5 min before I need to get this posted, that is a good thing!  Procrastination doesn't work so well with a time frame!
Be sure to check out the Dt's samples if you haven't already, and than go and make your own card for the Curtain Call {Act 48} Show.

Curtain Call Color Challenge {Act 47} Show

Week 2 for me as GD for Curtain Call.  This week's colors are spectacular!  Look at this:

and, here are my samples;
The scalloped shape one is a post it holder!  Dummy me forgot to take an open picture of it, and my girlfriend bought it before the ink was practically dry ~ lol.  [Who am I to turn down a sale..in fact, she had me make her 2 more!]  The sympathy card I totally CASED from Heather Telford over at Bits & Pieces.  This girl knows how to sponge and I had to try it with these colors!  Such a rich, elegant sympathy card that unfortunately, I need to mail off.

Curtain Call 35 & CPS Sketch

I love it when I find "forgotten" challenges.  Thanks to Marisa she always reminds me about Curtain Call - and this week is a fabulous - and I mean - FABULOUS color challenge.  Garden Green, Green Galore, Turquoise and Coral Cameo~~ pretty huh?  I thought so!  I used the sketch from CPS #172.  My cyber friend Karen won a GD position  (with CPS) with one of her gorgeous cards - so I am there to support her, and yeah - I struggle without a sketch - LOL.  I used my Hero Arts butterflies - love the way these stamp and they are so easy to color with copics!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your comments~~ I sincerely appreciate them~

Featured Stamper- Dara

I actually made 2 cards today for the Featured Stamper - Dara.  The 2nd one was motivated by Curtain Call #26, in support of Marisa who is on the DT team.  She is one of my loyal commentors... my way of showing support~ Hi Marisa!!

This is my first one based on this card ^

This is my second one and also for the color challenge over at Curtain Call~ dark gray, light gray, white and crushed curry- I used cantaloupe.  I also used my new Hero Arts stamp.  Oh my, but I love the way it stamps.  I am a definite admirer of Hero Arts.  Okay ladies - this is it for me.  I will be back later tonight for posting my SCS Challenge TLC.  Be sure to check it out~~  Thanks for stopping by!

A Couple of Easter Cards

This is for Crazy 4 Challenges - a nice and easy sketch!  Thanks ladies - I had fun.  I started coloring my bunny with copics and didn't like the look, so I re-colored him with my Marvys.  I can't tell you the last time I used those!  Everyone talks copics but the good ole Marvys sure worked for me!!

This cutie is for Our Creative Corner and the sketch is by Silke.  I loved this sketch~~ it was a challenge to get the colors for Curtain Call #23 - white, kraft, light pink and black to look like I wanted.  I originally had my card base black, but it was to severe with this cute little bunny, so I changed it to white.  I am happy with the end result.  Thanks everyone for a great couple of challenges!

F/U Note:  We had a HUGE success with making some emergency money by having a garage sale ~ DH was on a roll selling....everything!  Kudos to him.  I spent all day and pm photographing items for Ebay~ came to a stand still when I realized  I have no idea what to charge for shipping.  I will go to the p.o. on Monday and get some boxes and rates.  Luckily, the money isn't an issue now so the pressure is off  "to get er done".  The money earned from Ebay will help to pay future bills.  Thank heaven for garage sales!! LOL

Thanks for stopping by~~
