Happy Little Stamper July Stencil Challenge & Addicted to CAS Challenge #201

Like I said yesterday, I am having a couple of weeks.  Not sure if you saw, but my FB account was hacked last week.  I spent the next 5-6 days trying to get the repercussions dealt with from that invasion.  That said, I didn't even go into my stamp room, let alone make any cards.  Because of this, I missed not 1 but 3 DT challenges!!  Yes, 3.  How bad is that. So, I am posting 2 of the challenge cards in this post, and [also late].  Whoops.

I just love this Christmas gnome -- he is so totally changeable by just using different papers!  And, he is adorable :).

My sentiment is from a Simon Says stamp set, Happy.  I do love the mixed font.
You can join in this challenge HERE.

Next up is the HLS Stencil challenge.  This challenge goes through the entire month.  Lots of time to join in.

Since I was creating a Christmas card for ATCAS, I stayed with a Christmas theme.

Using a diagonal striped stencil and some gold embossing paste made for a glowing background, and a lovely snowflake embossing folder from Darice made for an interesting texture panel.  I love the depth of emboss I got with this folder.

To finish off my card, I used [I think] a Simon Says Snowflake Die, and layered it 4 times for added depth, leaving the gold one for the top layer.  The sentiment is from the same SS Happy stamp set as above.

Feel free to join in either one of these challenges, or both!  We love to see what you create~

Thanks for stopping by~

I can't even imagine having to go through all that for a hacked FB account. I don't use very nice language when it comes to idiot hackers. But your cards are just gorgeous! I absolutely love gnomes, and that snowflake is amazing! Chin up! ;)
