Once again, I miss the date for this challenge! I hurriedly made one to get it uploaded! Thank goodness I keep extra water colored panels laying around!
I cut the panel the same size as the base, I used a self made square template for the drawn squares, and a sentiment from Simon Says Pre-printed Sentiments.
Did you guess this card measures 2" x 2"? Yep - a 5 minute card :)
Your turn. Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along. While the squares are optional, being a birthday card is not. Have fun!

Modern, funky and FUN!
Thanks for the invite to the party, Vicki. To say you made this quickly - it's very effective. There's something about going with your gut and just making, isn't there? xx
Love your background Vicki. You did good with the squares.
YOu pulled it out anyway. I had to look closer because I thought the black squares were stitched. Really did!
This is a wonderful design for the challenge. I really like that watercolored panel you had on hand and I am so glad you shared the card using it.
This is fantastic and sure doesn't look like a hurry-job! And yes, those ready-made background panels must be great to have in a pinch... I still need to do that!
Cool graphic look Vicki, clever use of the squares, Cathy x
Hooray for watercolour panels and pre-printed sentiments! Great last-minute card.
Love the cute fluffy flowers in the background! The DIY square pattern looks cool!
So cool! Love the fun squares on the fun background.
