We are back from our December off status, and I am happy to be creating again! While this challenge would make a great Christmas card, this is a birthday card challenge, so I made it accordingly ;). Actually, I have family in New York and this card will be perfect - snow and all :)
I cut out the oval shape, sponged on 2 purple shades of oxide ink, and then spritzed on some water. I just love the reaction these inks have with simple water.
I used an OOB stamp set, and a birthday sentiment from Simon Says Sentiment Strips. [I just adore the line of strips SS offers. I always struggle stamping my own straight] I am also entering this into the Time Out Challenges 178 - Life in the City.
