I was getting tired of using red and green, so purple was just the choice! To make these ATC's I started with a piece of cardstock 4.24 x 5.5. I sprayed it with water and scrunched it into a ball. I flatten it, dried it, and then sponged on color. The ink grabs onto the "bumps" which adds depth and fabulous texture. I then covered the piece with Versamark, and embossed with clear embossing powder. This gives the base a leather like look. Using HLS Mix Mash stamp set, I stamped on the circles. I then cut the card panel for 2 ATCs!
I used STAMPlorations Christmas Baubles #2 for my ornament, a wreath from Simon Says [retired], and added some twine. Yep, I turned these ATCs into ornaments, and/or a bookmark - whatever the recipient wants to use them for.
Another fun challenge HLS -- thanks!
Thanks for stopping by~
