Kind of fun.
To make these, here is a little tutorial;
Wrap the twine around a piece of cardboard. Cut one edge for even pieces.
Using a pipe cleaner, knot each piece around it, one after one. It's time consuming, but kind of relaxing at the same time ;).
Once done, trim in a feather shape. To keep the shape, I sprayed starch over the completed "feather" and let it dry over night.
Then, I finished off by making a card.

You're amazing...this is awesome.
Great job and definitely different than I have ever seen you do before!
Awesome card and I can see all that work on those twine feathers surely paid off. Not sure I would have the patience as I am more of an instant gratification type of person. But you really did great!
These are fabulous! I love it. Such care and time taken and it really shows. I love that they look so tactile and strokeable! Xx
Oooh, I want to reach out and touch those feathers. That texture-y feature is perfect for a get well card...healing and soothing! Yes indeed, another gem from Vicki's vault of abundant creativity!
