Just Us Girls #252 - Word Week & Addicted to CAS #44 - Gold

Heartfelt Creations Winner: Congratulations to Anita Braddock

This week over at JUGS, Nancy's word is Ribbon.  Now I am sure there are so many creative ways to use ribbon -- in fact, I am sure the Team out did themselves.  Me on the other hand, I am sticking with what I love; a pretty satin bow.

I seem to be on a "pouncing" kick lately.  Have you seen my 9 second video showing what "pouncing" is?  [Just cracks me up a 9 second video - LOL]

Come on over and play in the Ribbon challenge at Just Us Girls!  It's an easy challenge and we hope you join in~

It is also Addicted to CAS Challenge time. This week it is all about Gold.
We are being sponsored by

When I think gold, I think 50th Anniversary and Christmas.  Since Christmas is coming up, I went with that.  I used the stunning Memory Box Die; Frosty Border, and a sentiment from Hero Arts, Merry Christmas Trees.

There are endless possibilities with Gold -- go for it!  Add a ribbon and once again, you have 2 challenges under your belt!

Thanks for stopping by~

Your Christmas card is so elegant - the die cut is amazing and a beautiful focal image. The gold sentiment really pops. I love the design.

On the first card, your signature bow is a standout as always. Love the pouncing :)

Two beautiful cards Vicki. LOVE the design with the pouncing ... and yes, I watched your 9 second video :) You are always so concise with your comments ... and now your videos! :) Love the colors and how the alcohol inks reacted with watercolor paper - will give that a try!

Gorgeous Christmas card ... LOVE the frosty border done in gold! Loll xx

Ever so gorgeous, this duo, Vicki! Your pouncing creates such eye-catching results (fabulous video) and your Christmas card...happy sigh! The Frosty Border is calling my name! I'd love to know which Memory Box dies are your favourites, as I'm making a 'wish list' for the next time I travel to see my family. A new scrapbook store has opened - four hours away, but still 'close-ish'!

You are getting a lot of mileage from your technique! It's so fun! And you do bows so well, so it was an expectation that you would use on your card! Very pretty.
