I am having a really fun time being inspired by blogs lately. There is just soooo muuuuch to see :). I am also trying to use [at least] all my SU images.. eventually. This is a challenge Susan from Simplicity has started. It is also a way to decide if I really need to keep all my stamps!
Today I am playing in a couple of sketches, and yes, I am using Stampin Up stamps.
Deconstructing Jen; sketch
I printed off some digi papers from Mel Stamps. This women is amazing! She has tons and tons of digi papers for free! While I don't use digi paper much, for today's sketch, it worked perfect. I used SU Decorative Pinecone and Paintprints. [I will not be linking any SU sets - most of mine are so old and probably 85% are retired. You can always Ebay with the name if any interest you.] What I adore about Paintprints, is they stamp like water colored images -- which, is popular right now! I'll be keeping both of these :). My sentiment is computer generated. I thoroughly enjoyed this sketch - Thanks Jen :)
For my 2nd card, CASE Study had another amazing sample card created by Lisa Spangler, to be inspired by;
I was inspired by the triangles, and was able to use SU Looks Like Springs. I love the dual stamping with the diamonds and the fun flowers. Yep, another "keeper". :)
And lastly, another sketch. This one from CAS(E) this Sketch;
I really loved the way this turned out! I used SU Stippled Shells, along with a Jar stamp from Inkadinkado images. The background is a recycled lemon bag with some actual sand glued to the card and in the jar. The sentiment is from GKD, Gifts From the Sea.
It's been a fabulous stamping day!!
Thanks for stopping by~
