I had to try that! I LOVE the way the white stands out so clear against the card base, and I really enjoyed seeing yet another way to use vellum! (Thanks Chrissie). I used the GKD stamp set Hope Grows. I really like the butterfly in this set - so elegant.
{{ On a side note - this challenge site has become so popular - last week, Chrissie and Mandie had over 300 (!) entires!! There is no prize, but they do encourage the players to comment on each other's cards for support. That, to me really is the "prize" -- having stampers come to visit your blog and comment on your cards-- really, just fabulous! So, anyone from LIM popping over to comment THANK YOU!! and to my regular followers THANK YOU too! We ALL love comments.}}
Oh how ridiculous am I! I went to upload this card over at Stamp TV and low and behold I found a card I had made for this sketch and forget I made it! Sheez. Oh what the heck, I will share it too! Same set was used GKD Hope Grows. What a dweeb I am~~ :)
and asked for a set. Since I don't re-make cards, I kept the same "blob" flower, but changed the colors and size, and also made a holder for them.
I really do love my "blob" flowers, and I thought this was a fun set. I used Inkadinkado Amy Smyth Made It Garden Variety stamps. I really like this set - very versatile. To make blob flowers, I flipped the flower stamp over and stamped with the backside of the stamp, and than used the actual stamp image on top of my blob. Fun results! Edited - I forgot to link this to Moxie Fab - set of cards
Thanks for stopping by~

hi Vicki, your cards are great, but - I really want to thank you for the blob flower method (which I have not tried yet BTW). For ages I have been thinking I needed a way of getting a 'solid' image and then stamping the detail on top - now you have told me how! thanks so much, I will try it soon! xx
Super cool cards, and I love that vellum idea! Will need to try that!
Aha! You are so clever with the blob stamp and I love you interpretation of the sketch with the funky dotted paper. Great job Vicki.
Fabulous cards Vicki. Love those pretty images on black! :o)

I really like the shape of your acetate card, and the butterflies are just so pretty. Super sentiment too.
And I think the "blob" flowers you made for your sister are just stunning!
So wonderful that your sister appreciates your creations ... and what a vibrant and beautiful set of cards.
Hey Vicki! Thanks for linking these up to the Card Set Challenge in the Moxie Fab World in celebration of 350 Cards & Gifts Week! Good luck in the random drawing! :)
The circular cards are lovely but I'm bowled over by the stunning set of thank you cards you made for your sister! Your blob flowers are a whole new way of two-step stamping!
