Love to Craft Challenge

I needed a graduation card for a customer of mine, and I was totally inspired by my fellow teammate, Kendra Sand, with this awesome shaker card.

I used my Silhouette for the sentiment, and the hat too for that matter.  I needed this card fast, so I just bought the hat file [with other items in the package too ;)]  I certainly will use it many times, so the cost is okay.  I used MFT Stitched Frames.  Thanks for the inspiration Kendra :).

I am going to enter this into the April Love To Craft Challenge; anything goes.

Tag You're It #36

I saw the tag from Tag You're It #36, and it appealed to me.  I really like city scapes and using it on a tag was fun!

I used my City Scapes from Savvy Dies, along with the MC cut, from the free Christmas Tag Set that Silhouette offered. [Gotta love those freebies!]  I love the way the Merry Christmas glows by using gold designer paper.  It went perfect with my Northern Lights background, and the "lights" in my buildings.  Here is the tag I CASED;

I was inspired by Joyce's buildings.

SO.MUCH.FUN!!

I spent some time making this SUPER FUN project, and just had to share it with you all.  Seriously, I absolutely love this project!

How cute is this!!  (You have to be amazed at the creativity of some people)  Fortunately, these files are available over at the Silhouette store [40% off through 5/10], and here are the tutorials for putting the chairs and umbrella together;  CHAIRS --- UMBRELLA

I also used a couple of sentiments on the "pillows" from Inspired by Stamping, Seaside Sentiments.

I hope my project made you smile -- it sure did me! :)

It's a Tag Day

I spent all day today making tags.  I do love using these fun items as a small gift.  Entering these into Just Add Ink - what did you make for gifts challenge,

Do you have a Silhouette?  If you don't, you need to get one!  This entire set of tags was made using my Silhouette.  Can I just say, the time saved... quite fabulous.  On top of that, the fun wreath image you see, that was a freebie given by Silhouette!  I did buy the tag shape, and the deer head?  That is a download from my computer that I made a cut file from it.  Yep, I love my Silhouette!

Using Inspired By Stamping, Build a Stocking and cut file and Christmas Wreath and cut file, I made 3 sets of these tags.

I was inspired by Simon Says Wednesday Challenge photos:

Just thought I would share :)

Avery Elle Challenge #16

I got an idea for a card last night, and when I saw the sketch over at Avery Elle Challenge #16, it all came together!

I used a die from Memory Box, Lovely Peony Outline [I left the pieces in],  and a sentiment from Avery Elle, Simply Said Hello.

While looking at my Silhouette library, I came across some leaves I had purchased [and never used naturally :)]  I can't believe I forgot about this file.  I LOVE this fern!!

Since this is a never been used stuff, I am entering this into Darnell's September NBUS Challenge #2;
Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (Stamps, Dies, EFs, etc.)

Quite the fabulous day!
