Loll's Christmas Tag Event

It's time again for Loll's Christmas Tag Event. This is the 3rd year I have had the pleasure of participating in this event. My tag is for Day 9.

For my tag I started out with CUTplorations Luggage Tag dies, and a sheet of Kraft paper. I covered the cut out tag with Gesso, and sprayed with Dylusion Ink Sprays. While wet, I sprinkled on glitter. I stamped 3 stars from CAS-ual Fridays Snowy Sayings, I used a sentiment [from the same set] with white embossing powder, and then cut out 3 more stars from CAS-ual Fridays Funky Flakes Fri Dies. I used black embossing paste and an ARTplorations Weaving Stencil along the edges. I tied off the top with ribbon and twine.

Loll's 12 days of Mixed Media Christmas Tags

It's the fun time of year when Loll Thompson has her 12 Days of Tags Challenge. This year is a mixed media challenge; stamps plus ink, plus 2 other elements which add texture and/or dimension. I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for this fun event.

I do love doing mixed media -- it is very messy, but fun at the same time!

For my tag I used Gesso, embossing paste, medium gloss, stencils, a Finnabair stamp [961923] - (thanks Loll), along with a Memory Box Ornament Die, and some Christmas buttons I had in my stash. Whew! See why I said messy? I should of taken a photo of my desk ;).

Loll's Christmas Tag Challenge!

I was really excited when Loll asked me to be a Guest Designer for her Multi Media Christmas Tag Challenge! I really enjoy multi media, I just don't do it very often.

It started out with PTI's #5 Tag and went from there. I used so many products;

The challenge of multi media is you just keep layering your stamping [without going overboard] -- so much fun!

A New Product and Challenge

I am joining in with Loll's Tag Challenge today with a new product that Loll enabled me to buy! ;) [Thanks Loll] It's called Brusho and it is So.MUCH.FUN!!

It starts as a little jar of powder that you sprinkle on to paper. I used both regular card stock, and water color paper. Just to see the different effects.
