Day 1 - Neon Challenge
I used the direct to paper technique on this card using the fun Hero Arts Neon stamp pads. The brighter the better for me! My sentiment is also from Hero Arts, Live Life, and the snowflakes are from Verve Snowflake Splendor.
This was my SCS Color Challenge sample from Tuesday. I am just popping this in here so all 5 days are together.
I love making my own embellies. I used the gorgeous butterflies from My Favorite Things, and Memory Box. I love using contrasting designer papers to make these. I also used the fun vine from Papertrey, Harvest Berries and dies.
This is the first time I have officially used my sewing machine since I got it "fixed" [it took my friend to tell me the bobbin was in upside down- did I feel dumb? Ah, yeah] Anyway, I LOVED sewing on my card! I hope I will be doing this more cause, it looks so AWESOME!
Once again, I used Papertrey products, Butterfly Dreams and die. I colored the butterflies with copics.
I adore layers -- I don't do them very often [anymore] but I just adore them! I used some [in my drawer forever] chipboard images and of course the "awesome way to add texture" burlap. My sentiment is [again] from Hero Arts, Live Life. [Did I mention this is on sale for only $7.49] I really am enjoying this set.
That's it! All 5 challenges completed and WOW! I don't know about you, but using "trends" can be really a ton of fun! I am so glad these fellow stampers got together and issued these challenges. Thanks Ladies for all the fun! I look forward to Let's Get Trendy!4~
