Such an easy challenge!
I went with an older stencil in my stash and did negative stenciling. What's that you ask? I'll tell you...
I started by doing some rough inking on a card panel, then, laying down the stencil and inking it with black! I'm kinda loving this effect. Yeah, the colors aren't great for Spring, but the beautiful Everyday Elements Layered Hummingbird sure is. Even with his golden wings~
The touch of gold glitter paper just adds to the fun impression!
Your turn! Just upload your card [with stenciling] over at JUGS #776.

Your negative stenciled background is a pretty stage for your star-of-the-show hummingbird. Definitely eye-catching.

Your background is cool, with the effect you've chosen, and the beautiful hummer you've created to set it off -- your gold and teal toned hummer brings everything to life!
I love that you and your team have all used stencils that I haven't seen before!
This stencil is really wonderful, Vicki - and versatile, too!

Very good technique indeed! Very colorful card!
I love your bold background with the negative stenciling! Pretty hummingbird taking center stage, too.
oooh! this is lovely Vicki Beautiful result.
Vicki... amazing photo to capture all that glitter and shine! Happy Memorial Day
What a cool stenciled background! Fun design. Thanks so much for having me as a guest designer this month!
We black out embossing folders, why not stencils. That was such a good idea and great effect, Vicki. And that humming bird is dressed for a gala event in all that gold.
Great background design to show off the beautiful hummingbird!
Very cool background with the hummingbird!
