I have been really stepping back from my stamp room. That said, when I get in the mood to create, I pop on the internet and look for challenges that inspire me. Well, guess what? Inspired By Challenge #219 did just that!
Here is the inspiration photo;
Here is my inspired card;
I used an older Stampin Up embossing folder to mimic the knitting in the photo. I do like the added texture it gives my card.
I used Hero Arts Playful Animals for this adorable little mouse, colored with my Copics. He makes me smile. Actually, this card makes me smile --
=============================
I also am joining into, a new to me challenge, Tic Tac Toe #192.
I went with the 1st column; Vellum, Floral, and Stitching.
Since I had my Hero Arts stamps out, I used the [retired] Delicate Blossoms set for the flower. I made a mask, covered the image and then ink blended on some Oxide inks.
I used faux stitching [unbranded set], and a sentiment [on vellum] from Memory Box Signature Greetings.
Thanks Challenges! I had fun~

So cute Vicki, love how you were inspired! That embossing folder is awesome. Perfect for the Inspired by Challenge.
Gorgeous floral design too!
love your card, Vicki and especially fun seeing that retired HA stamp - such a pretty card! thanks for joining us at TicTacToe Challenge this week with your delightful card!
Your cards are so well done!
What great cards! Loving the texture and the cute little mouse. Thanks for playing along at IB!
Two beautiful inspired cards Vicki...thanks for playing with us!
Terrific! What a fun mouse card, loving that texture. Your flower card is wonderfully done, and very interesting as it is left white with all the color around it -- a unique way to accent your flower
