Heartfelt Creations January Alumni Hop

Welcome to 2021's first Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop.  If you are new, you are in for some very amazing creations made by this team.  At the bottom of this post you will see the hop list.

For this month, I made a slimline card.  I don't think I have seen a slimline made with Heartfelt Creations products before.  That said, I'm sure someone has done it. 😀

To make my slimline card base, I hand cut my card base to 3.5 x 8 inches, and cut another panel 1/4" smaller all around.  Base done.

Using the Oakberry Lane stamps and Oakberry matching dies, I cut the flowers and leaves out of colored paper, and then stamped the shapes on to the cuts. My sentiment is from Just for You Sentiments stamp set.

Definitely a more CAS card using the products, but that is why I love HFC.  Very versatile!

That's it for me this month.  Below you will find the list of participating designers for this month.  Be sure and leave a comment for the randomly drawn winner of a $25 gift certificate to Heartfelt Creations.

Kathy Clement - Vicki Dutcher[ME] - Amarilys Doria - Carole Wright

Nice card! I find it most interesting that you die cut shapes before stamping. The Oakberry Lane flowers are lovely and work for many floral arrangements.

Love the sentiment - everyone needs a hug as it has been a long haul; but crafting makes the load lighter. Your card has a wonderful lightness to it and makes me yearn for the warmer weather when we can see those lovely colors in your card reflected in spring flowers!. I think Heartfelt Creations flowers are stunning and I really look forward to their releases! Lovely job and color selections.
