I love doing ombre coloring, so I love this challenge! I got out my Oxide inks; Worn Lipstick, Ripe Persimmon, and Candied Apple, a panel of 80# Nina White card stock, and started blending. One thing I have noticed about blending, is it does take a light hand, and lots of layers to get a smooth blend. Now, that said, Oxide inks are amazing for blending, which does make the process easier.
I so loved these calming colors together, I decided to make this a sympathy card. While, fortunately, I don't need this card currently, at some point, sadly, I know I will.
I used Simon Says Clean Line Everyday stamp set, along with the ARTplorations Cloud Stencil, for the lightly sponged clouds.
Okay, your turn! Come on over to the JUGS Blog and show us how you use ombre on your card.
