For my card today, I used another one of Jennifer McGuire's techniques; Die Cut Mask Technique.
While Jennifer used masking paper, I used what I had, Avery Label #6465 - it's an 8.5 by 11 size label sheet and works just like masking paper! I used the Memory Box Vivienne Butterfly die for my one layer card, along with a sentiment from Hero Arts Thank You For Being My Friend stamp set.
I sponged on some rainbow colors over the masks, and once removed, I stamp the sentiment. A lovely one layer card.
While this card isn't 1 layer, I didn't want to waste the mask, so I made a second card. I really like this one a lot! Gotta love those "freebies".
Thanks for stopping by~

Both cards are so pretty, love the colors. Great idea to use the masks for the second card. TFS
What a fabulous technique that you executed so beautifully. Gonna try that one!
Beautiful and I love that you got 2 cards from the one technique! So cool and beautiful!
I like them both a lot! Two pretty cards Vicki!
Both are so beautiful and love the colors.
Vicki, I always love seeing a way to create a "twofer" and this one is great. Both cards are so lovely. You've just inspired me to create something like this today. I may even try using smaller dies on some of my smaller labels! tfs-stay well.
I love this technique too. Your cards are so beautiful!!
Gorgeous cards, Vicki! You did an amazing job on Jen's technique and I love how you recycled the butterflies for your 2nd card...such a beautiful color palette, too!
I thought that butterfly looked familiar. I haven't used mine in a long time and love it because of it's delicate die cut. It looks beautiful in white on your inked background, Vicki, and just as beautiful with the masks.
